Muriel coughs as she struggles to get back on the couch. She could feel her life slipping away.
Where was Scott? There were so many things she wanted to apologize for. For being mean, vindictive. How she wished she treated him differently.
Suddenly a beam appears and vanishes, revealing the Lumen Knights. "Woah. That is so weird," Lumen Orion said, trying not to barf. Lumen Vespera runs up to Muriel, orb in hand. He positions it near her chest, waiting with bated breath. The orb floats a while before entering her, the red glow vanishing.
The color returns to Muriel, she gets up and stretches. Lumen Vespera smiles at her and Muriel's lip quivered, before rushing over and hugging him, sobbing bitterly. "Thank you," she said, as she cried. Lumen Vespera awkwardly patted her back, glancing at his friends, who smile at him.
Muriel breaks the hug and pats his shoulder. "Thank you," she said. "Not just yet. Gentlemen," Dot said, gesturing to them. Lumen Aurora and Caelum step forward to the petrified parents. "Repeat after me. The nightmare is over, we reverse this spell. Return these people, to their former selves."
"The nightmare is over, we reverse this spell. Return these people, to their former selves!" Lumen Aurora and Caelum say in unison. The blasts from their wands, melted the ice that trapped Mrs. Denoise and turned Mr. Denoise back to normal. Lumen Vespera smiles, blinking away the tears. "Are you okay?" Muriel asks him. Lumen Vespera nods, wiping away his tears. "See ya around," he said.
The boys gathered and Dot summons the beam, promptly making them disappear. Mr. and Mrs. Denoise gather around Muriel. "Are you...alright?" Mrs. Denoise asked, her hands cupping her face. "Who were those freaks?" Mr. Denoise said. "Those freaks, saved my life," Muriel smiled.

Diane shivers as she's helped out of the pool. Josh slicks his hair back, his trunks and body dripping with water. "You are...the w-worst boyfriend ever!" Diane screams at him. "Stop overreacting. You grabbed me and—"
"And nothing, we're done!" She yelled, pushing him in. Josh cried out, grabbing her and pulling her in with him. Emerging at the surface, she flailed in the pool. "Help—" she said, spiting out water. "Help me!"

The Lumen Knights file into the back of the house. "Now what?" Lumen Solus asked, staring at his dress. "Yeah," Lumen Orion spoke up. "How do we—"
Before he continued, their clothes vanished with a pop and they were back into their original wear. "Wow," Trevor blinked. "That's...uh...very anticlimactic," Carl commented. "I'm...proud of you," Dot smiled. "You saved your world...for now."
Trevor crossed his arms. "The hell you mean, for now?"
"They will return, the Gem Girls. They don't give up without a fight, neither their mistress, their queen, Queen Amber," Dot explained. "But with the Lumen Knights. We'll be ready for them."
"Who is this Queen Amber?" Carl asked. "I will explain later but for now, boys, great work," Dot congratulated them. "Admit, I was the MVP of that fight," Lonnie grinned smugly. Trevor snorted. "You blasted that thing with with sewer water. Carl and Felix clutched that win," he told Lonnie. "It was a team effort," Felix said quickly. "Psah! You guys are jealous that I got...liquid...powers," Lonnie stumbled through his words.
"Everyone knows that earth powers are cooler than water powers," Trevor snorted. "Felix controls the weather, which is arguable more cooler than summoning lava, Treffy," Lonnie countered.
Trevor's jaw set firmly. "Call me Treffy one more time and I will gladly transform back into the sus dress to kick your ass," Trevor warned. "You're just mad, cause I'm right...Treffy," he said, accenting on the word. Trevor roared and tackled Lonnie. Felix, Carl, Scott and Dot quickly gather around them. Felix and Carl pull Trevor off him, the boy kicking and screaming. Dot shakes her head and emits a warm glow, healing the two of their inflicted wounds.
"Stop acting like children and be civil," Dot sighed. "Oh right! We should check on Mom and Dad," Scott said, rushing off, the others following.
"Diane, where were you? So many things happened and—" Mrs. Fitzpatrick paused, stopping herself in opening the treats. "What do you mean you fell into a pool? Don't watch the news? Ha! Like Id' miss that."
She listened, uninterested to her daughter's rant.
"Listen here missy, I'm your mother and I will not let you disrespect me. And...you owe a pizza. I hate Papa Johns," she spat before ending the call. "Now, my babies," she cooed, waving the treats to the dogs, who jumped up and down excitedly.
Scott opened the door, to be immediately pulled in by his parents. "I'll see you tomorrow," he said quickly before the door was slammed in their faces. The four boys scratched their head. "You want pizza?" Lonnie said. "Oh shoot! My Granny! I know she's just waiting to whoop my a—" Trevor pauses. "C'mon. Let's split," he whispers. The boys nod and run off as Dot phases through the Denoise's home door.
"Scott, you wouldn't believe what happened to us!" Mrs. Denoise said to him, as they guiding him to the couch. "Actually, I can believe it," he smiled. "Sit down, Scott," Muriel giggled, pushing him onto the couch before backing up. "Because do I have a story to tell!"

The Gem Girls stood before their ruler, kneeling on one knee and heads bowed. Queen Amber, enveloped by shadow, impatiently tapped her finger against the arm rest of her throne. Her second in command, Beryl, merely smiled at their misfortune. "The Lumen Knights stopped you?" She said the last part in an angry tone, who voice going a pitch higher.
The women flinched and gulped simultaneously. "Your majesty, we can explain..." Angelite was suddenly blasted back by a blast of dark magic. The other women glanced back before turning back to the front, bowing the heads a little lower. "Please, Queen Amber. If anyone should be punished, it's me," Serpentine said quickly.
Beryl chuckled. "Your majesty," he bowed. He wore a white blouse under a rich red tailcoat, a pale red cravat tie gave him a classy look. He wore black trousers and black shoes, bringing in the look. He wore white gloves, his left eye was cover by a red bang, his hair naturally red.
"I think you should comply with Serpentine's wishes," he chuckled. A wicked smile crept on Queen Amber's lips and she raises her hand, pointing right at them. The girls try not to flinch, her finger being the only thing illuminated in the light. "You're excused, this time. Don't fail me again," she warned.
The girl shake their heads and stand up. Jasper and Lepidolite help up the stunned Angelite and all five file out of the room. "I'm exhausted, Beryl," she said wearily. Beryl walks over and kneels, taking her hand in his.
"Rest, my beloved queen. These Lumen Knights are not a threat. They cannot stop us," he assured her, pressing his lips against her palm. "They'd better not," she said, "I'll never forgive their predecessors for what they did but I've returned the favor. Queen Etheria can try but that curse I casted is irreversible. At this rate, she'll before she can defeat me!" before laughing, her laughs echoing in the massive throne room.

"What do you think about the mysterious being?" The reporter asked the interviewees.
"They're amazing!" A woman grinned.
"I thin they're aliens!" An unhinged old man said.
"They're fiends!" Diane said, soaking and covered in a towel. She blew in her nose before continuing. "I hope they have a cosmic lawyer, cause I'm suing them. Achoo."
"As long as they don't mess with my business, I don't care," Mr. Jason Floyd said before turning to enter his building, Chanix.
Scott yawned, stretching in his bed. He licked his lips, his eyes glancing over to the signet ring on his finger. Oh yeah, it wasn't his imagination.
He gets up and is greeted by Dot's smiling face. He lets a cry of surprise, hoping to his feet. "Good morning," she says. "You! What are you—Get out before someone sees you!" Scott whispers. "I've been to your planet for thousands of years, Scott. I know how to blend in," Dot smiled.
She is suddenly enveloped in a glow, which dissipates, revealing she was a round ball. "How inconspicuous," he said, catching her before she connected with the ground. " I know. I know. You are baffled by my genius," Dot giggled. Scot stuffs the alien in his book bag. His eyes then raise to see Diane slipping on a one piece pink dress with blue flowers decorating it before dossing herself in perfume.
It then hit him. "Oh no. The diary!" He gasps, as he rushes off to get ready. He rinses off the suds in the shower and dries himself, slipping on a blue t-shirt with blue jeans and hi-top sneakers. He opens the door to be greeted by his sister, smiling. "Uh...hi sis," he waves. "Scott, you don't have it do you?" She asks him, still smiling.
Scott shifted in the door, blocking her view of Diane's window. "What? No, I have it," he assures her. "With Diane?" She asks him. "Yeah," he relents. "Diane wasn't in her room. Guess she had the diary with her. Sorry," Scott apologized. "There was no way I'm telling her the actual truth. 'Imagine that conversation. Hey sis. I got magical powers bestowed to me by a creature you probably never heard of! And that pinkette who saved your life? That was me!' Yeah, she totally wouldn't convince my parents to institutionalize me," he thought.
Muriel nods and pats his shoulder. "It's okay. Crazy things happened yesterday, I get it. I just have to...face the music," she smiled. Scott nods and she walks off, humming "Kumbaya, my lord."
The JMG drives up to the school and the boys hop off. Lonnie waves Joel, his cousin goodbye who drives away with the gang. Out of sight, Lonnie moans, "I can't believe yesterday wasn't a dream."
"I wish it was," Trevor said, rubbing his backside. "My Granny beat my ass yesterday."
"I got ice-cream," Carl smiled. "We get it, Carl. Your life is better," Trevor growled, as they approached the stairs. Scott slowly ascended, his eyes glued to his feet. "Yo, Scotty. You're being too quiet. What up?" Lonnie asks. "My sister is going to get expose by that waste of space that is Diane Fitzpatrick. I cringe as I remember I tried to save her," Scott shuttered. "That bimbo threatens to sue. Like she can afford a lawyer," Trevor scoffs.
"The case would be null and void. Since the Lumen Knights—technically—don't exist, she can't sue us. They'll throw the case out," Felix explained. "Look at you, speaking louder," Lonnie said proudly. Felix blushed at the compliment. "Thank you," he muttered. "And...we're back to square one. I should've kept my mouth shut," Lonnie shook his head.
The bell rings and Scott spots his sister, her eyes already red. "Muriel...."
"It's fine. I'm okay," she said quickly before heading to class. The boys pat his shoulder as they went off the their classes. "See you at Mrs. Wagner?" Lonnie said. Scott nods and the boy walks, leaving his friend in the hallway.
As the bell rings for lunch, the two boys file out of the classroom, Scott walking with purpose as Lonnie fails to catch up. He pushes open the door, the others waiting. "How was class?" Trevor asks. "It was fine.." Scott pauses, his gaze on the DOLLS, specifically Diane who is helped up onto a table.
"Ahem. Jocks and losers alike, listen. I have a treat for you," she grinned, waving the pink book in her hand. Muriel stops, her gaze locked on Diane, before glancing at her brother.
"This diary belongs to someone we all know and she always as a crush on the hunk himself, Bradley!" She announced, evoking an "ooh" from everyone. Bradley, who had always entered the cafeteria, looked at his brothers who tapped his back to his confusion.
"Ahem," she said clearing her throat. Scott clenched his hand, gritting his teeth in anger, his orange hair seeming flaring in rage. If he could, he would transform that instant! Unknowingly, his stripped, winged, pink and white star wand appeared in his clenched hand and without thinking, he aims it at her, blasting a pink blast at Diane. It hit her, making her body shimmer. However, she was unaware, and so was everyone else, on what happened.
As she opened her mouth to speak, bubbles came out, making her go "blep. blep." Everyone gasped and the girl realized what happened to her quickly as she tried to speak and only bubbles came out. Olivia hops off the table and back away, fear in her eyes. "I told you! I told you that diary...was cursed!" She said, pointing at her. The students gasps, mumbling in confusion on what just occurred.
The more Diane tried to speak, the more bubbles came out. Scott spots the wand in his hand and marvels at it, he was amazed, confused and embarrassed. Muriel rushed over to her brother, panting, as he quickly hid it behind his back. "What happened?" She gasped. "What's wrong with her?"
"Don't know. You should probably reclaim it," he urged, accidentally touching her. In an instant, she became invisible, shocking the boys who stood there with open mouths. "Okay," she shrugged, though they couldn't see, and marched over, climbing unto the table and tapped the panicking Diane's shoulder.
Diane turned around, seeing no-one and her eyes widened. "Listen here. Give it back to me," Muriel told her the terrified girl, her eyes trying to find the person speaking to her. "A ghost! It's only connected to a ghost?" Lydia screamed. The crowd suddenly dispersed and Diane shoved the book into Muriel's invisible hands before hopping off the table and running away.
Confused but happy, the "ghost" hopped off the table and went over to Scott and his friends. At that moment, she became visible again. "Guys. Did you see that?" She asked them excitedly. "Yeah. We did," Trevor said, horrified. "That was so weird but hey. I got it back!" She squealed as she kissed her brother's cheek then skipped away, twirling and humming happily.
Scott pulled the wand from behind his back, staring at it. "Did you?"
"Yep," he responded.
The boys looked at each other and grinned. "Oh yeah. Now we can use these things outside of uniform? We're set for life," Lonnie said cheerfully. "Our lives just got better," Scott said as they headed for the no-go table, high fiving each other. "Even with those bubbles, she's still hot," Lonnie sighed before Trevor kicked his leg.
Diane ran into Josh, who carried a football under his arms. "What happened?" He asked. Diane opened her life to speak but bubbles came out. The other DOLLS joined her, gasping for air. "She got cursed!" Olivia said, panting. "Oh. Then in that case, consider us exes," Josh said, patting her shoulder as he walked away, whistling.
Diane watched him leave before stomping up and down and screaming in a muffled tonet. "Oh Diane. Your mother had called my mom," Laura's comment made the distressed girl to stop. "She reminded me that you owe her a...pizza?" Diane continued to jump up and down, even in more frustration.
