I spent the whole night tossing and turning in bed, unable to shake off that weird feeling that had taken over me after the butterfly disappeared. Something felt… off. Like the whole world was whispering a secret I wasn't supposed to know.
At exactly 3 AM, I woke up to a soft sound—a whisper.
It wasn't coming from inside my room.
It was coming from inside my closet.
I froze.
My closet? How?!
Slowly, I sat up, my breath uneven, my eyes locked on the old wooden door. I didn't move. But then… the whisper came again.
"Iris…"
I gasped, quickly covering my mouth to stop myself from screaming.
No way. This has to be a dream… right?
But when my window curtain fluttered—like something had just moved the air inside my room—I knew one thing for sure.
This night was not just a nightmare.
With a shaky hand, I reached toward the closet door…
