Chapter 37 - Rin Visits Kiyoshi?

Just then, a rapid knock sounded on the door.

"Kiyoshi, are you home?"

Kiyoshi raised his eyebrows slightly. The familiar voice instantly told him who it was.

He got up and walked to the courtyard door.

When he opened it, he saw Rin's tired, slightly flushed face, still a little out of breath.

"Rin, why are you looking for me so late?" Kiyoshi calmly said.

His eyes swept over her flushed cheeks, which seemed to glow reddish in the afterglow of the setting sun.

Rin lowered her head slightly, panting. She had obviously just run over to Kiyoshi's home.

Rin said, "I've been thinking about it, and I want to ask you for advice…"

Before she could finish, Rin took a breath and looked up at Kiyoshi.

A casual glance revealed that Kurenai was standing behind Kiyoshi.

"Kurenai, what are you doing here?" Rin's tone was surprised.

She had thought that Kiyoshi and Kurenai were only close enough to chat at school.

She hadn't expected Kurenai to be in Kiyoshi's house without her knowledge.

If she hadn't come to Kiyoshi today because of Kakashi's matter, she probably wouldn't have ever known about this.

To get to Kiyoshi's house, one has to enter the Uchiha compound, and then cross the fence and gate that serve as boundaries.

In this whole process, there's always a faint sense of being watched.

Especially since the Uchiha are a proud clan and members of the village's police force, Rin didn't dare to look up.

She plucked up her courage and asked an old couple selling pancakes nearby, and finally found Kiyoshi's house.

Kurenai also looked at Rin in surprise.

What does Rin want from Kiyoshi at this hour?

Kurenai said, "I'm here to discuss about genjutsu with Kiyoshi. What are you doing here?"

Kurenai became inexplicably wary.

Could it be that Rin also wants to receive tutoring from Kiyoshi?

Rin lowered her head uncomfortably, seemingly unwilling to reveal too much, and answered vaguely.

"I… I have some things to discuss."

Her tone was ambiguous, unwilling to reveal too much.

"Kurenai, it's getting late. You should go back first, or your father will worry."

At this moment, Kiyoshi suddenly spoke.

"Oh, I almost forgot."

Thinking of her father, Kurenai quickly nodded.

Since her mother had passed away, her father had been very strict with her, making her come home as early as possible.

If she doesn't go back soon, her father might come looking for her.

Kurenai glanced back at Rin and Kiyoshi, and then gradually walked away.

"What exactly is it?" Kurenai frowned.

Rin clearly had something to discuss with Kiyoshi, but why was she hiding it from her and not telling her directly?

Kurenai couldn't figure it out and could only suppress it in her heart.

After Kurenai left, Kiyoshi leaned against the doorframe.

He looked at Rin in front of him, waiting for her to speak.

Rin said, "Kakashi has been dwelling on his father's matter. I'm worried he'll do something stupid. Besides swordsmanship, what else can make him cheer up?"

The corners of Kiyoshi's mouth rose slightly, as if he had already guessed that she would ask this.

Kiyoshi said, "In that case, Kakashi's focus should currently be on lightning release ninjutsu. I can see that he wants to develop a lightning release ninjutsu."

"Lightning release?"

Rin was stunned for a moment.

She seemed to have heard Kakashi mention it a few times.

She was indeed better at ninjutsu than swordsmanship.

Although her foundation in ninjutsu was better than in swordsmanship, she had no experience with lightning release, which involved chakra nature transformation.

So, she couldn't help but frown.

"I… I haven't learned lightning release either."

Kiyoshi smiled slightly and said, "I know, Rin. You don't have to worry about not knowing much about lightning release."

"Your understanding about lightning release ninjutsu doesn't need to be that profound. As long as you can grasp the basics, you can have common topics with Kakashi and have more contact with him. Isn't that enough?"

Hearing this, Rin's eyes lit up. What Kiyoshi said made sense.

Kakashi is relatively aloof and doesn't have many friends.

Then, if he wants to create a lightning release ninjutsu, he'll likely be researching it alone.

If she jumps in at this time, she can indeed have more topics to discuss with him.

Rin said, "Okay, then I'll have to trouble you, Kiyoshi."

Kiyoshi stretched out his hand, smiled slightly, and said in a low voice, "Then I'll start explaining how to change the nature of non-attribute chakra into lightning."

Kiyoshi asked Rin to enter the inner room.

At this time, the night gradually overwhelmed the sunset glow, and the evening breeze gently blew, bringing a hint of coolness.

The courtyard was so quiet that one could almost hear the wind blowing through the treetops.

After making a cup of tea, Kiyoshi began to explain to Rin.

Whether it was Lightning Release: Lightning Finger or Lightning Release: Iron Block, they all had this basic instruction.

Kiyoshi could just take it out and use it.

The same was true for Lightning Release: Flash Pillar.

To use the five elements release, a ninja must perform nature transformation on the chakra, turning the chakra into one of the five basic attributes.

For example, to use Chidori, a ninja must turn the chakra into lightning.

The basic form of Rasengan just makes use of shape transformation. It is just a high-density rotating chakra ball after compression without any attributes.

Rin listened to Kiyoshi, sometimes understanding and sometimes not understanding.

She felt like she had gained something, but it also felt like she hadn't understood anything.

Kiyoshi was aware of all of Rin's changes. He didn't expect Rin to understand all of this in one go.

If she really understood, how could he carry out the next plan?

Also, Rin doesn't have lightning Chakra nature.

In the official data book, Rin only has water, fire, and yang chakra natures.

If you don't have some chakra natures, you can still use the corresponding ninjutsu, but their power will be greatly reduced.

At the same time, it will be difficult to understand the related ninjutsu and it will take a lot of time to learn them.

"Don't understand?" Kiyoshi asked.

Rin nodded with a disappointed expression.

Kiyoshi said, "It's okay, hold out your hand, I have another method."

Kiyoshi motioned for Rin to hold out her hand.

Rin followed suit.

Kiyoshi held Rin's hand, feeling that it was small, soft, and had smooth skin.

Rin also felt a pair of heavy hands for the first time.

This was the first time she had held the hand of a male of the same age.

Rin's earlobes turned slightly red, and at such a close range, she could feel Kiyoshi's breath.

She quickly shook her head to focus her attention.

"Next, I will let you feel the process of generating lightning chakra."

Kiyoshi said nonsense in a serious manner.

Theoretically, it is possible to successfully transform non-attribute chakra into chakra with attribute.

It just requires extremely high skills.

In the original story, Naruto had shared the Nine-Tails' chakra, allowing others to use and feel the Nine-Tails' chakra without side effects.
