Ten thousand years, that's how long this thing had been sealed for. The ancient creature had previously been sealed up till that moment, but that all changed five years ago. After breaking the seal, the first thing it did was to hunt once more. If it could hunt more, it would, but the natural order wasn't so easily broken.
Its activity has been inconsistent since its awakening recently. Its prey mostly consisted of monsters and humans alike.
Its favorite monsters to hunt all had dragon blood within or were dragons themselves. This entity's instincts sensed a great change coming, and it didn't want to miss any of it.
(("Those pigeons & bats must have planned something with how much preparation they created over the years; it's been awake. To become more active. The insects built themselves a world far greater than the days of old.")) It spoke with a deep annoyance in its voice as it walked all alone within its dark, icy underground castle.
Within this dark place, the creature's glowing green eyes were the only light source around currently.
Soon enough, it had left its castle as it took its first step outside the gates.
{{"Light"}} The entity in question uttered but a single word before the darkness ceased. Now it was replaced by the light of the false sky above.
This entire territory was illuminated by the man's earlier spell chant. The light revealed a city-sized underground space that looked to be mimicking a maze.
In the middle of this maze was a massive black castle he had previously been asleep in. The ceiling of this massive area was filled with tens of thousands of shining white orbs that made the ceiling light up like the night sky. Each orb was one meter away from each other and each orb was a one-meter sphere in diameter.
The light above revealed the appearance of the ancient monster. His body showed him as a muscular young man with dark brown skin. The man in question had light blue tattoos that were shaped like flames around his limbs and eyes. His hair is dark blue with eyes that were green in the dark and blue in the light. He wore baggy dark blue shorts with light blue flame patterns on the sides.
The man kept walking forward in the dark he soon passed by the underground's complex structures. He found himself remembering pieces of his past.
. . .
"The cities of stone were the places I called my home." The man said as he looked upon a Black & blue dragon before it.
"The laughing of the children could be heard as the dragons flew overhead were the days. The smiles of all who worked throughout the city truly were the highlights of my days. Every injury they got, be it big or small, was always healed by me." The young man said, as he even, started to giggle as he told these stories to the sleeping dragon before him. He looked around and only saw an endless, expansive white plane where only he and the dragon seemed to be held within.
"You know we were even called every year to be on standby for the Grand Magic Games. Those really were the days." the young man said as his brown skin had started to grow black scales.
"Those fighters truly were top-class in all their fields of magic. You could say our civilization was a paradise of magic and technology." The man said his his eyes turned pure white as he now had a scaly black tail.
"We were the strongest healer of the land! Our services were so great back then that we even got to serve the Dragons who ruled from far above. It should have continued this way till I died surrounded by eight or more grandkids with my family by my side.
Well, it should have.." The humanoid dragon with black scales and wings said just before his memories kept coming back to him in a flood.
*"TILL THEY BETRAYED US ALL."* The small black dragon said in a roar before the giant sleeping black dragon.
The small dragon roared as they kept screaming, and its rage overtook them.
*"HOW DARE THOSE FLYING LIZARDS BETRAY THE OATHS! WAS DRAGON-SLAYING MAGIC THAT DEADLY!?" * It said in a loud roar!
The roars had stopped as the small dragon was now the same size as its sleeping counterpart.
"You condemned my city to a sea of flames, just because another nation far away created dragon-slaying magic. We weren't even the ones who created that spell. That doesn't matter anymore, I'll never rest till all of you lizards die by my hands!" The dragon said it's eyes were full of clarity once again.
'My City! My Home! My Family!' They thought as they had started to merge with the sleeping dragon next to them.
(("Dust to dust, ashes to ashes, you reap what you sow. We have forged Ourselves to become the very thing you lizards feared. You lizards have always prided yourselves in your strength and your endless wealth.
All that you have shall be devoured. We'll claim everything that makes up your existence for Ourselves as retribution.")) It said all the while, only a single dragon remained within this endless white plane.
. . .
The surrounding murals on the walls had, finally brought back the monster's memories of healing magic along with most of its memories. All the humanity it used to have has long faded by this point in time. The man he once was is long dead and gone. These memories only served to enhance its strength.
He didn't have a shirt but he did wear a long dark cape as he started walking up the path. His bare feet didn't feel any discomfort as he walked straight to the exit nearby.
(("Those insects made some interesting toys. Time is a cruel mistress. She keeps going on without ever stopping. Oh, how the times have changed. It was just yesterday I was devouring those betrayers alive while they all tried to flee. Now, the days of dragons have come to an end. A new age has risen to overtaken the land.")) It said aloud.
(('Lilith's spawn from the reverse side of the world has started to play once more. Be it the monsters or the humans, they are all worthless in my eyes. With my current knowledge, I understand only beings above sequence four could ever hope to damage or possibly kill me. After all, in a sense, they were descendants of Him.
Those powers had to come from somewhere, and they certainly weren't related to God or his creation. You could argue they were an insertion event, but whatever that thing was, it wasn't under The Natural Order in authority.')) It thought.
(("That dragon knew of these truths. When it died to my hand, everything it had was devoured and seen by me.")) Itsaid as his gaze kept looking towards the end of his home.
Before long the man reached the end of the maze. Soon enough he opened the doors of his underground territory, his eyes were met with the icy winds of the snowy wasteland before him.
(("The bugs called this land Antarctica. Due to its climate, the insects stayed away. Truly a perfect home indeed.")) The monster in human form spoke aloud all the while as his body started growing in size the moment it came outside.
The monster in human form started shifting its form to change as it grew massively. The creature's skin grew pitch black; its belly turned pale gray.
The light blue flame tattoos started to cover parts of its body giving its skin some flaming blue tattoos. Giant wings broke free from his back, and a tail followed along soon after. The creature's teeth grew sharp, and its previous outfit disappeared like magic.
The wings are covered in feathers & scales; it took up a more bird-like appearance than dragonic. His eyes changed as well; it was now pure white instead of blue. It's hair faded aswell, and his head changed to become denser and bulkier.
After all the changes were complete the man in question appeared to cast off his mortal form to reveal its true monstrous form. Now its body gave off a thirst for destruction with a ceaseless desire to devour.
After the transformation was complete, the man who once stood alone at the entrance was replaced with a massive black dragon with flaming blue tattoos.
(("I am the king of the dragons, the black dragon of apocalypse. My name is Acnologia. I am here once more.")) A beastly voice roared, and the dragon flew into the air, leaving its territory behind.
The black dragon's official announcement thundered across the entire reverse side of the world and many other realms.
Unknowingly the dragon's roar had fatal consequences for the world later down the line, it was heard by all with special senses.
*BOOM!*
The sound waves that came from that roar caused a massive category 7 earthquake all over Antarctica. This event was mysteriously contained to that continent alone, and its effects did not affect its territory underground.

*~Whizz~*
Long after he left a lady appeared by the entrance of his home. The lady had white hair, skin like snow, back eyes, and a black dress. She could be seen looking at a black book. On its pages read something about a family in a pink bubble. On the other page, it talked about her being at an event themed around books with her talking to some boy about his favorite novels.
. . .
Acnologia flew faster into the air leaving the icy wasteland behind to head to new lands. On its travels it devoured a few sea monsters across the sea, it also flew above a few planes.
All of them were either destroyed or devoured, but one plane had its attention briefly before it forgot about it the next minute.
(('Someone had used some sort of teleportation ability to escape one of the flying metal bird's doom.')) Acnologia's interest was all but a fleeting thought as it flew away. An insect was still a bug, no matter its abilities or form.
