2 August 1942

I took out the Radagian diary I had bought today and carefully checked every page. But I couldn't find anything strange, I even searched the cover of the book, but I couldn't find anything. I did find something, though. The diary was extraordinarily intact and I didn't think I could damage it even if I tried to tear it with all my might. Helplessly. On the way back I picked up the dictionary I had bought from Flourish and Blotts. I started translating using the dictionary.

'first entry

I am Radagian, last great druid of the British Isles. Whoever reads this diary, beware of what I write next. What is written here will undoubtedly affect the rest of your life. When I began writing this diary, it was 1400. Druids were rapidly disappearing, not only in Britain but all over the world. And not just traditionally. The first requirement of being a druid is to have the gift of voxnaturae. The number of those with this gift was dwindling as people and magic users became more and more alienated from nature. I fear that as long as I live I will not be able to find an apprentice and the druids of Britain will become extinct with me.It was in this pit of despair and hopelessness that the idea came to me. A method to protect our heritage from being lost was to store all my magical knowledge in magical vaults in Britain. The first of the vaults will be kept at Hogwarts, where almost every young wizard in Britain goes. The diary you hold in your hand can only be used by people with the gift of voxnaturae. Otherwise people will see a book full of nonsense written by me. I have scattered these diaries all over Britain and when you go to the first vault, the diary will serve as a map and will lead you to the first vault. Each vault has druid knowledge waiting for you. Later in this letter you will find some of the simplest druid spells and I hope you enjoy them. Finally, my friend, please do not turn away from the path of the druids and do not let the druids become extinct. May the wisdom of nature be with you.

 Grand Druid Radagian'

When I finished turning the first page, I took a deep breath and started to think about the magnitude of my discovery. Firstly, I learnt the name of my ability, voxnaturae, which brought a smile to my face. Secondly, I learnt that I could be a druid. I didn't know what to think about that. Druids had been in many fantasy games and books in my past life. They could control the weather and plants. They could transform into various animals. Many fantasy fictions in my past life showed druids as a versatile magic class. I wondered if it was the same in this world. As far as I knew, the druids had disappeared from this world long ago. Now I knew why. Even people with their most basic ability had stopped being born. Excitedly, I turned to the back page and began casting the first spell.

Controlling the flames.

allows you to control non-magical flames according to your magical power and control. These flames can range from an ordinary campfire to a forest fire.

After reading the description of the spell, I couldn't help but get excited. It seemed weak at first, but it had great potential. Whether it's a magical or normal flame, when it reaches the size of a forest fire, it becomes a serious threat. It was also compatible with the druids' duty to protect nature, and I was not surprised that this was the first spell in the book. I had translated a few sentences when I felt my headache rising, the method of spell casting in the book was quite different from today's spell casting method and then it dawned on me. This book was written at least 500 years ago. Since then, wand magic had evolved a lot. The wand movements had become more fluid. The choice of words had changed enormously. 500 years ago there was a vast difference between the way of casting spells. If I wanted to learn the spells in the book, I would have to learn a different way of casting spells. If this spell was one of the basic spells of the druids, then the wizards of that time were definitely ahead of today in terms of energy control.

Thanks to my meditation sessions and occlumency training, I was as far ahead of most wizards as I could be, thanks to Merlin. I decided to start practising this spell tomorrow morning. It was already late. After changing my clothes, I extinguished the magical gas lamp and went to bed to sleep. With the effect of the tiredness of the day, I fell asleep quickly.

3 August 1942

After completing my morning routine, I came back from my run to the greenhouse tree sapling and started to check it.At first I didn't notice anything, even with voxnaturae, but then when I examined it in more detail, I noticed a change, such a small change that I didn't even know what to call it.I just knew it was there. something had changed. At the moment I could do nothing but hope that this change was for the better. After taking care of the sapling, I resumed my daily routine. When it came time to study magic, there were now a few extra subjects. Aritmansi, ancient runes and druid magic. To tell a lie, arithmansi sounded quite impressive. According to the introduction of the book, its applications touched almost every area of magic. Predicting the future. When creating new spells, wand movements were necessary in matters such as word choice. Determining potion components when creating new potions. Breaking curses and converting ancient spells into modern spells, which will probably be most useful if I want to learn druidic spells in the future.

Ancient spellcasting methods were vastly different from today. A wand made things much easier, not only with a wand but also without it, apparently our bodies and minds remembered when we had successfully cast a spell, making it easier to use instinctively in the future. In a duel, each side had to quickly identify the spells used by the other side and respond correctly. If you had to focus on the spells you learnt for a long time each time, there would be no such thing as a duel.

Ancient runes, as far as I understand, are extremely important in building wards and making magic items, but in the 3rd year it revolved only around memorising different rune alphabets.

After translating the other druid spells mentioned in the diary, I quickly lost myself in my studies. It was already getting dark when my stomach reminded me that it still existed. Aritmansi was truly marvellous, I had lost myself in the book. I returned to the kitchen for dinner and started to prepare dinner. After eating, I returned to my room to continue my study. After working late into the night, I finally decided to stop and I found the warm arms of my bed.

Before I fell asleep, I started to think about the differences between my past life and my new life. I don't know where these thoughts came to my mind, but they suddenly came to my mind. Although I wasn't lazy in my past life, I wasn't that hardworking either. I was an average young man. Although it helped that there was nothing to distract me in this life. I think the best part of this rebirth was magic. I really liked magic. Luckily, I was an orphan in my old life and I was a little asocial. So there was no one to miss me, just as there was no one to miss me.
