After sitting on the chair with nothing to do as the food was still not there, he looked around the room slightly to find the same illumination and cooling mechanic he had in his room earlier.

He couldn't help but wonder about that as he looked towards the two suns in the sky.

Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by someone coughing and looking towards it.
He saw his father looking at everyone with a warm gaze and then looking towards Mariel at the end.
Which seemed to make her a bit stiff then suddenly she looked at him with a nervous expression.
'Did I do something?'
He couldn't help but wonder due to the way Mariel was looking towards him but decided not to worry about it much for now.
'Not like I can do anything to change it either way.'
"Now that everyone is here, let's hear what Mariel has achieved after training with her teacher."
At first, she looked a bit nervous but after taking a deep breath, she said what she wanted in a bit childish voice.
"My aura has reached the third layer and I should be able to reach the fourth layer in a year too."
Even though it looked like a great achievement due to the big smile present on his brother and father's face, and his mother's proud expression.
She looked at him nervously with a bit of fear in her gaze which he found a bit surprising.

"Aww, I am so proud of you and see I told you that Isabel is the best teacher for her."
Edelin hugged her with affection while lightly arguing with Ansell which didn't seem serious due to the smile on their face.
"You can't fault me for that as she is a bit eccen- unique but I am glad that she helped our daughter a lot."
Shaking his head with a smile, he lightly patted Mariel's head with affection.
"Good Job."
Reinhold looked at her with a proud gaze and light nodded towards her.
"Reinhold, you can say more to her."
Edelin said while shaking her head.
"But I guess you two brothers have taken too much of your father's qualities, you two need to be more like me and praise your little sister more."
Edelin looks towards Ansell with a disapproving gaze which he simply can't refute as he used to be like Reinhold in his young days too.
"Don't worry, all they need is someone like you."
He said with a smile as he reminisced about the past and how she changed him so much from his older self.
"Dear, there are kids here."'
Edelin shouted with a blush on her while looking away from him and smiling at her behaviour.
'That's a cute couple.'
He thought while looking at their flirting and couldn't help but feel happy that his new family was much better than he expected.
'And how did I even become a villain with these parents?'
He couldn't understand that thing at all, as even though he can guess his past self being spoiled and having an inferiority complex, it doesn't explain him becoming a villain.
Suddenly he felt a piercing gaze while he was lost in his thoughts.
And looking towards the source, he could find Mariel looking at him nervously.
'And there's some expectation in her gaze too, maybe she wants me to compliment her?'
He could somewhat guess what Mariel wanted but he didn't know if he should do that as that would be acting unlike his old self.
'But maybe I was not that bad.'
There was also that thought in his mind, so he just decided to go with what seemed like the safest option.
"Congrats."
He simply said with a light smile not expecting much reaction but she surprised him even more.

A huge smile burst into her face as she looked at everyone with that expression.

The rest of the family looked at him with a surprised gaze which made him realise that it was not the safest option.
"See, I told you that everyone would be happy."
But the first one to break out of that was his mother who lightly pet Mariel's head and looked at everyone with a smile.
Mariel simply nodded while sneaking glances towards him occasionally and burst out in a smile whenever they made eye contact.
'I guess if everyone is happy then it's good.'
Even though he didn't understand their reaction, at least he felt a bit happy knowing there was no bad feeling among this family.
"Wait, what happened to your hand?"
Suddenly he was called out by his mother and looked at his hand, he realised he was still bleeding from his index finger.
"Hmm? I don't know either but it will heal in a few days."
Too lazy to explain his weird behaviour, he decided to go with the excuse most kids have after bleeding.
"Give me your hand and next time come to me quickly if you get hurt anywhere."
Realising what she was about to do, he gave her his hand and nodded his head with a curious gaze.
She lightly held his bleeding hand with both of her hands, and closing her eyes she lightly started to chant something.
But he couldn't focus on her chant as what happened next surprised him even more.
Golden light started to appear from her hand and looking at his hands closely, he could see the wound he had slowly closing.
"Much better now and take care of yourself."
Hearing those words, he couldn't help but feel a bit sad as he looked towards the window once again.
"What happened? Is it still hurting? But it should have removed all the pain away too."
Noticing his expression, she couldn't help but get worried and tried to hold his hand again to use the spell on him.
But he couldn't focus on her as the worst possibility he imagined had come true with all the clues he had gathered.
