"You are still going to pretend to be dumb, won't you?"
He said in annoyance while once again scratching his index finger with his thumb.
[I can't follow this conversation at all. Can you please tell me properly what exactly has happened?]
Hearing the mechanical voice answer, he wondered if his conclusion was right or if it was all just a coincidence.
"What happened? At least tell your mom. And please stop doing that with your hands."
He suddenly pulled out his thoughts when he felt someone holding his hands.
Looking towards it, he could see his hands bleeding again while his mother once again tried to chant spells to heal him.
"You don't need to be worried about us, we are your family."
Ansell looked at him with a worried gaze while walking towards him.
"Look after him while I go get her."
After saying that, Reinhold suddenly disappeared from his place.
"Brother…"
Mariel looked at him with a worried gaze while lightly pulling on his sleeve.
[There might be a possibility that it might all be an illusion but first, you should calm down and stop hurting yourself.]
Hearing all their words, he felt unexplainable emotions coming from inside of him but when he looked at his bleeding hands and then his family's faces once again, his conviction became even stronger.
'Good thing, at least Reinhold is gone.'
"You might be right, this might not be an illusion and I have such a great family."
As he looked around the faces of his family, he could feel their emotions being real so he couldn't help agreeing with the voice.
[Yup so please calm down, and also please try not to talk to me loudly like that.]
He realised why it mentioned the talking loudly part as he could see his family looking at him with even more worry in their eyes.
"Yup, you are right. So now tell me how much time has passed."
Even though he agreed with its concern, he didn't feel like following it for now and instead looked towards the two suns in the sky with the clouds surrounding them.
After that, he looked towards his hands which healed once again.
Then finally towards his new family and couldn't help but sigh with a grimace of pain on his face.
[You are not listening at all, and why do you keep asking that time?]
"Please calm down."
"Brother, please…"
Ignoring the voices of his mother and sister and the hands of his father on his shoulder, he once again asked the question.
"Just tell me the time."
[Alright you are not gonna listen anyway, and it's been 51 minutes since you have woken up.]
"Just as I thought."
He once looked towards the sky and once again noticed that the sun and the clouds hadn't moved from their position since then.
"Also you guys don't need to be worried about me, as I am all good."
Looking towards his family once again, he said that with a smile and then lightly removed his father's hand from his shoulder who was looking at him with a complex gaze.
After that, he walked towards Mariel and slowly kneeled towards her while she looked at him with teary eyes.
"Don't cry, as you should be happy that you achieved something great and just know that I am proud of you."
He wiped her tears and pinched her cheeks with a smile, while also feeling confused while looking towards her.
'Why is she the only different one?'
"Hmm… I am happy, so please stop saying weird things."
She said while scrunching her nose to stop the tears which he couldn't help but find adorable.
"Don't worry, they are not weird things but for now just relax and I hope I will meet with you all if you guys are even real."
He lightly patted her head, and then slowly started walking towards the window in the room while trying his hardest to avoid meeting their gaze.
'I can't let it change my conviction.'
He knew that if for a slight moment, his conviction weathered then he would be stuck forever in this illusion.
[What are you even trying to do? And please at least tell me so I can help you.]
Hearing worry in its voice for the first time, he wondered if this illusion was something created by someone else instead of the mechanical voice.
'I will worry about it later, first let's get out of here.'
"You will know soon so don't worry."
Reaching the window, he first looked at the design on it and then towards the glasses panel.
"Sorry for the damage."
He punched the glass panel with his full might after saying that which shattered the whole window.
'I am stronger than I expected.'
His power even surprised him as instead of forming a hole, it shattered everything and even somewhat broke the wood at the sides.
Then he looked towards his hands which were bleeding from all sides but he felt no pain at all.
"Nooooooooooo!"
"What are you doing?"
Looking back he could see his mother and father looking at his hands which were filled with glass shards as they ran towards him.
"Brother, please…"
While a strange golden aura started to form around Mariel which his parents didn't notice.
"Wish it was real."
He said it to them for the last time with a forced smile on his face.
And then jumped out of the window while all of them looked at him with surprised gazes.
[WHAT ARE YOU DOING?]
Hearing the mechanical voice shouting, he felt a bit surprised as he didn't expect it to show much emotion.
"Can't you see? Getting out of here."
He replied lightly while looking towards the ground which he was quickly reaching.
"Hey? It's an illusion right?"
While he still had all the evidence of the world being weird, he couldn't help but be worried while looking towards the approaching ground.
[YOU ARE ASKING THAT NOW? AFTER YOU JUMPED FROM THE THIRD-FLOOR WINDOW?]
