Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: The Weight of Divinity

The air around Leon grew dense—oppressive, as if the world itself was trying to push him down.

> [The World System, Gaia, is intervening.]

The voice in his mind resonated with an undeniable authority. It wasn't an NPC, nor a scripted system message. This was Gaia, the being that governed all existence in Devia—both game and reality.

> "Mortal… You have broken the balance."

Leon felt a cold sensation creep up his spine, but he forced himself to stay calm.

> "I didn't break anything," he said, meeting the sky with a smirk. "I just played by your rules."

Silence.

Then, the world shook.

Divine Judgment

The clouds above twisted into a golden vortex, arcs of lightning crackling through the sky. Fenrir growled, stepping in front of Leon protectively. Its crimson lightning clashed with the golden force descending from above.

> [A Divine Entity has been born in the Mortal Realm. The System is adjusting…]

Leon's eyes narrowed. He had lived through twenty years of this world, but he had never seen a system message like this.

> "What are you planning, Gaia?"

> [Divine Correction Initiated.]

A pillar of divine energy slammed into the ground just a few feet away. The earth split apart, molten cracks forming beneath it. Then—something stepped out.

A golden-armored knight, glowing with an aura that screamed power, emerged from the light.

> [Divine Envoy of Gaia: Seraphiel]

[Level: ???]

[Grade: Divine]

Leon's breath hitched.

A Divine Envoy?!

This wasn't just some high-level boss—this was a being directly sent by Gaia itself!

Seraphiel's golden eyes locked onto Fenrir, its expression unreadable. Then, it spoke, voice cold and absolute.

> "This creature does not belong in the Mortal Realm."

Leon's smirk vanished.

> "Like hell you're touching my beast."

Fenrir snarled, its massive form crouching low, ready to strike.

Seraphiel didn't even flinch.

> "If you stand against me, mortal… you will be judged alongside it."

---

The First Battle Against the Divine

A golden sword materialized in Seraphiel's hands, radiating a light so pure that even Fenrir's shadow flames flickered before it. The very air trembled under the pressure of its presence.

Leon cracked his knuckles, his heart pounding.

He had no idea if he could even hurt this thing.

But he wasn't about to back down.

> "Let's see what a Divine Envoy is made of."

And with that, the battle began.
