Leon barely had time to react before Seraphiel moved.
A golden blur, faster than anything Leon had ever seen, closed the distance in an instant.

Fenrir lashed out with its shadow-coated claws, but Seraphiel's radiant sword met them mid-strike. A shockwave erupted from the impact, shattering the ground beneath them.
Leon's body screamed in warning. The sheer difference in their power was undeniable.

Leon grit his teeth.

But as he rushed forward, ready to gamble everything, Seraphiel's golden eyes locked onto him—and for a moment, Leon felt the full weight of divinity press down on his soul.

Leon's knees buckled. His body collapsed to the ground, unable to move.
Fenrir roared in defiance, its crimson lightning exploding outward—but with one swing, Seraphiel's sword cut through the storm.

Blood sprayed across the battlefield as Fenrir was sent flying, crashing through stone and trees alike.

Leon tried to stand, but it was useless. The difference was too vast.
Seraphiel raised its sword one last time.

Golden chains erupted from the sky, wrapping around Fenrir's body. The Divine Beast howled, its power raging against the binds—but it was useless. The chains dragged it upward, toward a rift in the sky.

Leon's heart dropped.
> "No! Don't you dare take him!"
His words were ignored.
Fenrir struggled, its eyes meeting Leon's one last time before the rift sealed shut, taking the Divine Beast with it.
Silence fell.
Seraphiel turned to Leon, expression unreadable.
> "The balance has been restored."
And with that, the Divine Envoy vanished.
Leon remained on the ground, fists clenched, rage boiling in his chest.
