When Luoshu vanished, "The God's" first thought was that he had once again hidden inside SCP-CN-1451's world.
Without hesitation, he ordered:
"To Site-CN-02! Use the stone to drag him back!"
The trio quickly descended, briefed the Site-CN-02 Security Director (the field commander), and then "The God" opened a spatial tunnel straight to Site-CN-02.
Minutes later, they stood inside SCP-CN-1451's containment unit.
A researcher brought over a specific-spectrum UV lamp and shone it on the anomaly—but nothing happened.
Turning to the eager trio, he shrugged:
"The target isn't in that world."
"The God" frowned. "Then what? Did Barbie shatter him?"
Barbie shook her head. "No. I didn't feel my attack connect."
Abel smirked. "Tch. And you call me the idiot. Still haven't figured him out."
Being mocked by Abel of all people left "The God" and Barbie seething but speechless.
Barbie reluctantly contacted "The Master" for help.
After hearing the details, "The Master" glared at Abel.
"So you told him about the Kant Counter glasses? Now it makes sense—he used Aeolus's Reverse Warping!"
"The God" and Barbie turned their fury on Abel, their eyes screaming "You traitorous moron!"
Abel scoffed. "What? How was I supposed to know he had that ability? Maybe you should've kept better tabs on your people!"
"The God" exchanged a look with Barbie. "Aeolus. When did he defect?"
The forgotten Security Director coughed politely.
Given permission, he explained:
"Last time Achilles' Heel came to Site-CN-02 to capture Luoshu, Aeolus was taken by SCP-CN-722-5."
Barbie exploded. "What?! Why wasn't I told?!"
The director shrugged. "He's your subordinate. If he didn't report it, how was I supposed to know?"
"The God" suppressed his rage. "What happened?"
The director recalled:
"After SCP-CN-722-5 took him, we surrounded its nest. They both insisted it was a misunderstanding—that they were just... dating."
"The God" lost it.
"Dating?! A living corpse?! And you didn't think to question why I terminated SCP-CN-722-5? It betrayed me for Luoshu! Aeolus is clearly compromised!"
The director stood his ground.
"Did you ever explain why you terminated it? SCP-CN-722-5 was our anomaly! You erased it without a word!"
Tonight's events—"The God" and Abel's callousness—had eroded the director's patience.
Politically, Site-CN-02 (and other national branches) weren't fully subordinate to the Foundation's main body.
They were jointly governed by the Foundation and their host countries—a check against the Foundation becoming a global dictatorship.
Even so, "The God" had acted like a tyrant, sparking the director's defiance.
"The God" gave up arguing.
"Luoshu's gone. We're done here. Now—we find Aeolus. I want answers."
As they exited the unit, a hand (Luoshu's) plucked the blue cube (SCP-CN-1451) from its case and tossed it into a photograph.
Luoshu hadn't fled.
Using Perception Block + Reverse Warping, he'd shadowed "The God" the entire time, slipping past all detection.
His goal? Secure SCP-CN-1451 for himself—ensuring future access to My Cult Leader World without Foundation interference.
Now, the cube was safely stashed in SCP-100's underground facility.
As Luoshu left Site-CN-02, he used Ocean Hunter #109's terminal to call Aeolus.
Given SCP-CN-722-5's fate, "The God" wouldn't spare Aeolus.
"It's me."
"My Lord! Are you safe? 'The God' and Barbie want you dead!"
"I'm fine. You're in trouble. Get out now—they're coming!"
"Understood! But... where?"
"Your location?"
"Dushanbe Airport. Our plane diverted here."
Aeolus had been with Barbie's team, en route to Tianjin to capture the "Hume-250 target."
Mid-flight, "The Master" revealed the target was Luoshu.
Barbie had the Gulfstream G700 divert to Tajikistan, where "The God" warped her to China.
The rest of Achilles' Heel stayed behind in Dushanbe—luckily for Aeolus.
"Find a hiding spot. I'll arrange extraction. Ditch your terminal—call this payphone number: 133XXXXXXX."
