Chapter 3 - Go to academy

I dragged my mana-deprived body forward when suddenly, I heard a scream.

"AGHHHHH!"

A guy was sent flying and crashed into a tree, shattering on impact.

"..."

I turned to look in the direction he had been thrown, only to see a red-haired girl violently punching down each thug one by one.

"ORAA!!"

She delivered an uppercut to his chin, launching him into the sky, turning him into a shining star under the sunlight.

The three remaining guys panicked and tried to flee, but she chased after them, grabbed two of them by the legs, spun them around with incredible force, and threw them at the last one.

All three were sent flying into a trash can. She then dusted off her hands as if she had just taken out the garbage.

"...Wait a minute, this actually works?"

If I were the one to save that nympho, the story would follow the canon plot.

But if she saved her instead, maybe the story would take a different turn.

Oh well! Who needs the protagonist anyway?

I was starting to get curious about who she was, but my mana was still drained.

The girl who had been saved thanked the red-haired girl profusely before leaving immediately.

The red-haired girl sighed, then turned back to the path she was walking.

After a few steps, she saw the same guy from earlier—me—crawling pathetically on the ground.

"...What's wrong with you?"

"Mana depletion."

"...I just saw you use that weak-ass skill, and you're already out of mana?"

"That's why I don't like helping people. I can barely take care of myself."

Even if I were strong, I still wouldn't have saved her.

"Alright, I'll accept that answer."

Her opinion of me shifted from dislike to neutral.

"Umm, can you carry me?"

"..."

She grabbed me by the collar and effortlessly carried me with one hand.

Good. From now on, I'll call her Gorilla.

"What's your name?"

"Peter Parker."

"Then, Peter, judging by your abilities, you'll definitely be placed in Class F. Are you still going to attend?"

'Good question. If I knew more about this place, I wouldn't have come to the academy in the first place.'

"I need money."

Every month, the academy provides students with financial support, depending on their class ranking.

This was mentioned in the books, though I have no idea why I remember it.

"..."

"What? Got a problem with that? Do you think you have the right to judge me just because I want money?"

"...Alright, forget it."

And so, after a few minutes, we arrived at the academy.

She dropped me onto the ground, my face pressing against the floor.

"Huh."

The academy was huge.

…Actually, calling it "huge" was an understatement—it was massive beyond belief.

Blue Sky Academy.

Pfft, "Blue Sky." Why not add "Mr." in front of it to match that song?

Alright, that was rude of me.

I struggled to stand up, grabbing a nearby cane for support.

"Sigh, I'll get you a mana potion."

She left, leaving me shivering.

As students passed by, some whispered among themselves while others curiously watched what I was doing.

Being the center of attention felt a bit weird.

Suddenly, someone bumped into me, nearly knocking me over.

I turned around to see a muscular, tanned guy with blonde hair.

"..."

"Move it. Are you blind?"

Dude, I'm not even in the middle of the road. Why the hell did you come straight at me?

Seeing that I wasn't moving, he became irritated.

"Ohh, this guy's pretty stubborn, huh? Looks like he needs a lesson."

Wow, you're really looking for trouble, huh? I haven't even done anything to you.

A fist slammed into my face, sending me to the ground.

Blood dripped from my nose, pain radiating through my skull.

He smirked, which pissed me off even more.

He must've thought I looked weak, so I was an easy target.

And, of course, in typical hentai NTR plot fashion, a strong girl would now come to my rescue.

That's as far as I'll narrate. Anyone familiar with this trope already knows what happens next.

"HEY!!"

The red-haired girl ran up, standing angrily in front of me, blocking him from getting any closer.

"What did you do to him?"

"I didn't do anything. I just accidentally bumped into him, and he fell."

Nice choice of words. Lying without hesitation.

"Really?"

She turned to look at me.

...You believe him? Seriously? That naive?

He smirked, looking at me with disdain.

"..."

Alright, I officially hate this guy.

If you think I'm weak, then let me change your perspective.

"...Give me the mana potion."

"Huh? Oh, sure."

I opened the bottle and drank it. The taste was a bit weird, but whatever.

My exhausted body quickly recovered.

I stood up and wiped the blood from my nose.

I glared at him, making him visibly annoyed.

"No fighting in the academy!" The red-haired girl said, sweating slightly.

Despite her strength, she followed the school's rules, so she wouldn't act recklessly.

"I thought you'd be scared, but turns out you're just an idiot who doesn't know fear."

"..."

"Oh? You're speechless? Too scared to say anything?"

"..."

I kept glaring at him, making him increasingly uncomfortable.

Then, I smirked mockingly, fueling his rage.

"YOU LITTLE SHIT! I'LL SHOW YOU!!"

Just as his fist was about to hit me again, his hand was caught mid-air.

"Huh?"

The red-haired girl was glaring at him, looking extremely pissed off.

"You really don't listen, huh? You think the school rules don't apply to you?"

Her grip tightened, making him wince in pain.

"Aghh!! That hurts!!"

Though the plot was still progressing the same way, I had a different plan.

A strong girl usually just defends the protagonist, but she doesn't actively fight back.

So, I had to find a way to piss her off enough to make her go beyond that limit.

And this strategy worked perfectly against guys who didn't respect her or didn't know who she was.

"Alright! I was wrong! Please let me go!"

Just as she was about to release him, I leaned closer to her ear.

"When you left, I was just waiting in a corner. Then, he suddenly bumped into me, told me to move, called me blind, provoked me, and even punched me in the face. So, I'm 100% sure he targeted me on purpose."

As soon as I finished, she tightened her grip.

"AGHH!!"

He screamed in pain, falling to his knees.

'Even if I'm weak, I still have a patience' I thought, smirking as I glanced at her.

Her expression darkened, her face turning cold.

"Go ahead inside. I'll take him to the principal. He'll get the punishment he deserves." She said, dragging him away.

"Wait, you don't have to waste your time dealing with this," I said, placing a hand on her shoulder.

The bastard thought I would plead for mercy on his behalf since I looked naive and kind.

Well, if this were the original protagonist, he probably would've.

"I'll call a teacher."

Taking him to the principal would mean handling things quietly.

But if a teacher got involved, they'd scold him publicly, making sure everyone knew what he had done.

His face went pale, unable to believe I was taking it this far.

She thought for a moment before looking at me.

"If that's how you want to handle it… fine."

And so, a teacher arrived, asked for his name, and took him away.

Heh, serves him right.
