Chapter 5 - chapter 5

After Elias walked out, Martin angrily turned the table, making a noise that forced everyone to turn around. Malfred quickly grabbed him and dragged him into one of the side rooms to calm him down.

Martin angrily shook off Malfred's hand, cursing and swearing at Elias angrily. Malfred stood in front of him, watching him coldly, waiting patiently for his tantrum to end. Finally, Martin stopped yelling, but he kept looking at him with sparking eyes before exclaiming:

"I didn't hear you speak! Do you like what happened?"

Malfred looked at him calmly, then said in a low but warning voice:

"Have you forgotten that this deal was a trap to set him up? But your anger has blinded you to the main objective."

Martin exhaled nervously, combing his hair with his fingers in an attempt to control himself, before muttering angrily:

"That bastard's got me all riled up."

Malfred smirked, saying in a cold tone:

"Because you're the one who lets him provoke you. If you want to save your life, you'd better deal with him skillfully. The game we're playing now has no room for mistakes, if we don't succeed, our souls will be in his hands to do with as he pleases. Make up your mind and tell me now... If you don't fear death, I fear for my life. Elias's hell is not something anyone can endure."

Martin looked at him with glassy eyes, as if the truth had finally hit him. He whispered in a hesitant voice:

"So... The rumors were true? He's... a real vampire?"

Malfred chuckled lightly, then looked at him disdainfully, saying:

"What an amazing discovery! Everyone knows he's a vampire, but your empty mind seems to have taken longer to process it."

Martin's fist clenched in anger, but Malfred held up his hands in surrender, as if to say: "Calm down, I don't have the nerve for this discussion.

Then he added in a more serious voice:

"Look, Martin, you're my friend, but that doesn't mean I'd give my soul for you. If you're not sensible enough, know that I'm pulling my hand out of this plan. Elias, if he finds out what we're planning... it will be the end of us."

He finished his words, then turned and walked out of the room, leaving behind Martin, who remained standing in place, his nerves taut, his eyes slowly narrowing. Malfred's words did not leave his mind, they kept ringing in his head like an alarm bell that could not be ignored.

Elias climbed into his car with Albert, and the only thing that could be heard was the quiet sound of the engine. Elias stared out the window, lost in his thoughts, until Albert broke the silence by saying:

"I can't believe Martin now wants to make deals with us."

Elias didn't turn to him, but just gave him a sly sideways smile, as if it was more than Albert could imagine. That smile alone was enough to make the latter realize that behind this agreement is a dangerous game, and only Elias knows how it will end.

Elias suddenly shifted gears and said in a calm but commanding voice:

"Did you get the information I asked for?"

Albert reaches into the trunk, pulls out a neatly sealed file, and hands it to Elias without taking his eyes off the road. As he drove, he said in a hesitant tone:

"You won't believe what we found out about that girl... She and her clan turn into wolves on a full moon."

Elias stopped flipping through the file for a moment, then tilted his head back slightly, as if it had piqued his interest more than he expected. A ghost of a smile appeared on his face, and his eyes glittered under the dark glasses he was wearing.

"Well... Now it's getting interesting."

Watching his reaction, Albert chuckled, then said slyly:

"It seems to really get your attention. I've never seen you pay attention to anything this way before, but now... It's actually fun."

They continued on their way in silence, the only sound being the faint roar of the engine. When they reached the house, Elias got out of the car with quiet steps, heading towards the elevator to go up to his private suite.

At his entrance, he is greeted by Lexa, standing there in revealing clothes, swaying gently to the beat of the music, her eyes filled with desire. In her hand is a wine glass, and behind her is a table full of empty bottles, evidence of a wild night.

Elias watched her silently, his sharp gaze scanning the body she deliberately put on display. He smiled a small smile, not without guile. Lexa put the glass down and slowly walked towards him, her fingers groping his chest, feeling the fabric of his fancy suit. With the skill of a female accustomed to seduction, she began to unbutton his shirt, her other hand wrapping around him like a snake tightening its grip on its prey.

But she didn't know that the prey was here... It wasn't him.

A faint, sly smile played on his lips, revealing the truth of the matter. She thought she had set the trap, but she was just another victim, caught in the nets of a hunter who doesn't let his prey escape.

Elias began to respond to her touch, moving closer to her, capturing her lips between his, taking her breath away and drowning her in an inescapable ecstasy. When he pulled away, everything in her screamed for more.

He lifted her face in his hands, examining her features with a gentle touch, while his fingertips explored her body without haste, as if enjoying a delicious meal before devouring it. She let out a soft moan from between her lips, he hadn't fully touched her yet, but his presence alone made her need him.

He approached her neck, taking a deep breath before gently sinking his fangs into her skin, like a deceptive kiss. She was too overwhelmed with pleasure to realize what was happening to her, until his grip tightened around her body, squeezing her in his arms, squeezing the life out of her as easily as if it were a drop of wine he was savoring.
