Chapter 3 - shadows of nirvana

In the darkness of the cosmos, where light barely reaches in scattered fragments and time moves with an exhausting slowness, the worlds existed in a fragile balance. But I, with my power—or rather, my curse—shattered that balance. My name was lost in the ether of universes, but they knew me by the Plague Doctor's mask and the power that led me to destruction and absolute control.

I never imagined that the same power that granted me the ability to stand against the higher entities would also be my curse. Under the weight of my authority, I corrupted worlds relentlessly, killing and destroying without mercy. Until the day came when the higher entities stood against me, deciding to put an end to my tyranny. In their grand council, they resolved to divide my power into thirty fragments, scattering them across thirty different worlds, leaving me with only half of my strength as a reminder of what I once was.

My first destination in the quest to reclaim my power was the world of Nirvana, where serenity and peace coexisted with mystery and hidden challenges. Nirvana appeared as a paradise on earth, but beneath this surface of tranquility lay immense trials.

Nirvana was not just a serene and beautiful place; it carried within it a deep history of conflicts and struggles. This world was protected by layers of mystery and magic, where every step held a new challenge. Towering trees and endless flowing rivers concealed secrets waiting to be unveiled. I cared not for the beauty of nature; my only focus was reclaiming my stolen power.

I began gathering information about Nirvana and its central hero, Seraphim. Seraphim was a celestial warrior, possessing unmatched strength and speed, wielding a sword that shone with a heavenly light, said to be drawn from the power of the stars. That sword was the key to reclaiming a portion of my lost power.

Seraphim was considered a symbol of justice and light in Nirvana. His story began when he arrived in this world seeking a place where he could use his power to serve justice and peace—after his original world was destroyed by my hand. He became Nirvana's protector, leading its people with wisdom and strength, renowned for his integrity and ability to face the challenges before him.

But I did not seek his wisdom or his leadership. I sought his celestial sword, which contained a fragment of the might that was stripped from me. That sword embodied a portion of the dominion I had lost, and I was determined to retrieve it at any cost.

As I roamed Nirvana, I explored its various regions, from dense forests to flowing rivers. I observed the environmental shifts and gathered intelligence on Seraphim's movements. There was no place in Nirvana I could not reach, and my ability to conceal myself and move through the shadows made me like a phantom—unseen, unheard.

As I wandered through the forests, I discovered traces of Seraphim's presence. Ancient statues carved into the rocks depicted his history and his deeds in defending Nirvana. These statues bore cryptic symbols and tales of a distant past. I knew that each of these engravings contained fragments of Seraphim's story, and those stories were the key to understanding his power and weaknesses.

One night, as I traversed the forest, I arrived at an ancient temple hidden among the trees. The temple bore mysterious inscriptions that spoke of an ancient past and battles Seraphim fought against forces of darkness. Inside, I found old texts detailing Seraphim's power and how he drew energy from Nirvana.

I read these texts with deep focus, searching for any information that could give me an advantage over Seraphim. I learned that his celestial strength relied heavily on light and that darkness was his greatest enemy. This was the key to facing him.

I decided to lure Seraphim into a place of darkness, where he would lose much of his strength. I knew this battle would be decisive, and victory would bring me one step closer to regaining my full power.

The next morning, I made my way to Seraphim's castle. It was heavily guarded by soldiers, but I managed to slip inside using my remaining abilities. I moved swiftly and precisely, avoiding every trap and obstacle.

Inside the castle, the air was charged with energy. The stone walls echoed as if they held ancient secrets. I moved slowly and cautiously, using my abilities to discern the correct path.

I reached a grand hall, where Seraphim awaited me. He stood with confidence, his celestial sword gleaming with powerful light. A strange silence filled the chamber, as if the entire world was anticipating this moment.

But the battle had not yet begun. I knew I needed to learn more about Seraphim and Nirvana before the final confrontation. I decided to return to the forest to uncover more of this world's mysteries.

As I explored, I noticed a mysterious figure watching me from a distance. It was Serena, the guardian of the forest. She was an ally of Seraphim, guiding and assisting him in his upcoming battle against me.

Serena knew every inch and secret of Nirvana, using her knowledge to help Seraphim counter my advances. She appeared to him in visions and dreams, revealing my weaknesses and the places where he could draw power to face me.

One night, Serena appeared to Seraphim in a dream, warning him of my plan to lure him into darkness. She urged him to remain in well-lit places and advised him to harness the power of light even more to counteract the darkness I carried.

As I moved through the forest, I observed Seraphim's preparations for battle. He was using Serena's knowledge to fortify his strongholds and direct his forces. He relied more heavily on light, transforming every part of his castle into an impenetrable fortress against my attacks.

I knew this battle would be difficult, but I was determined to reclaim my power at any cost. I understood that every step I took in this world brought me closer to my ultimate goal.

I continued exploring the forest, gathering intelligence, and preparing for the battle ahead. Time was not on my side, but I was confident in my abilities and in my eventual triumph. This was just the beginning, and many other worlds awaited me, each with its own challenges and champions to defeat.

As I returned to the forest, I began to sense something mysterious happening. The trees seemed to whisper secrets to me, and the flowing rivers reflected strange visions. I knew that Nirvana itself was trying to communicate with me, sending cryptic messages about its history.

One moonlit night, I sat by a rushing river, gazing into the waters reflecting the moon, attempting to decipher the cryptic messages I was receiving. I saw visions of ancient battles, fallen heroes, and titanic forces in conflict.

I began to understand that Nirvana was not just an ordinary place—it contained an ancient power and magic beyond human comprehension. This force was what granted Seraphim part of his strength, and I knew that understanding it would be the key to defeating him.

I continued to explore the forest, uncovering every hidden secret and mystery. Legends spoke of an ancient power buried deep within the earth, of a mysterious entity ruling Nirvana from behind the scenes. I realized I needed to learn more about these myths to understand how to reclaim my power.

As I delved deeper, I noticed that Seraphim was preparing for battle himself. He was rallying his soldiers and fortifying his castle, ready to face me. He knew I was coming.
