Lucifer, enveloped in a dense black smoke, slowly advanced toward Ruwi's house, an ominous shadow sowing terror in the air. Each step he took made the atmosphere denser and more suffocating, the air thickening with a sense of desolation. José, his face tense and his eyes closed, sensed his presence before anyone else. He felt his heart pounding fiercely, as if the very air had become heavier.
— Dad, what's wrong? — Ruwi asked, noticing the sweat on his father's forehead and the tension in his stance.
— He has arrived — José replied, opening his eyes firmly, as if the weight of reality had suddenly hit him.
A vortex of black smoke surrounded the house, dragging darkness with it. With a swift motion, the door burst open, and in front of them appeared an angelic figure, of both unsettling beauty and terror. With four wings spread wide—two large, white, and powerful for flight, and the other two small and dark, wrapping around his legs like a divine prison. The creature smiled with an expression that chilled the soul.
Ruwi, his eyes full of determination, stepped forward, unsheathing his sword and holding it firmly in front of his chest. A blinding light enveloped his body, and in an instant, an imposing black angelic armor appeared over him, with lines of white light tracing like streams of energy. On his left side, a yellow fish symbol shone with sacred light.
Daniel was next. His armor was a warm red and gold, reflecting the power of passion and strength, with a glowing cross on his chest. Rosenda rose with an armor that emanated an ethereal essence, a blend of pink and purple, decorated with a bird symbol on her right side. And finally, Camila, with a radiant golden, red, and white armor, marked with a sacred lamb symbol.
— Who is he? — Camila asked, her voice filled with uncertainty and fear, staring at the being before them.
The angel laughed, a macabre laugh that echoed through the air with an unsettling tone.
— Don't you recognize me? I am the Guardian Cherub, Luzbel, Samael… I am Lucifer! — he declared, his voice overflowing with fierce arrogance.
Daniel, Rosenda, and Camila exchanged glances, terror reflected in their eyes.
— It can't be… — Camila murmured, her voice breaking.
— You are Lucifer, the Morning Star… — Daniel said, astonished.
— Exactly. I am not a character from stories or legends. I am the original Lucifer, the rebel cast out of heaven, now destined to rule the earth — Lucifer shouted, a deep laugh erupting from his chest as if he enjoyed the chaos he had created.
— Weren't you remorseful for your actions? — Rosenda asked, confused, but also with a spark of hope.
Lucifer let out a mocking laugh, dripping with contempt.
— Ha, ha, ha. Remorseful? Don't make me laugh. I rebelled for a reason, and I have never felt more alive than now — he responded, wielding his black sword, a symbol of his disdain for all he considered weak.
In a swift motion, Lucifer lunged at Ruwi, but José, anticipating his attack, stepped between them, pushing his son out of the way. With a furious cry, Lucifer turned his sword towards José, but the clash of metals rang out with brutal force. The ground trembled beneath them.
— Do you really think you can stop me, old friend? — Lucifer taunted, his arrogant smile like a seal of doom.
José, his sword held high and divine light reflecting off his armor, stood firm.
— I will not let you harm my family again — José declared with a deep, determined voice.
The battle began with overwhelming violence. Lucifer attacked with inhuman speed, his movements as swift as shadows, and the clashes of their swords shook the earth. Each strike from Lucifer seemed to come from the abyss itself, while José countered with precision, his sword shining with the light of faith.
Ruwi, without hesitation, launched himself into battle. Their swords intertwined with Lucifer's in a burst of sparks, the sound of metal ringing like a storm. The black smoke swirled around them, enveloping them in apocalyptic chaos.
— Your father will always belong to me, boy — Lucifer laughed, pushing Ruwi back with a force that made him stagger but not fall. However, the blow left its mark.
Ruwi quickly regained his footing, launching a fierce attack, but Lucifer, like a shadow, vanished into the air and reappeared behind Camila. In an instant, he struck her down before she could react, her body hitting the ground with a deafening impact.
— Camila! — Ruwi screamed, watching his friend fall to the ground, defeated.
Rosenda and Daniel didn't hesitate to attack. They flanked Lucifer with determination, their swords tracing lines of light through the air. But Lucifer, as if he were an entity of darkness itself, dodged their attacks with ease, mocking their efforts.
With a single precise strike, Lucifer took Rosenda down, and when Daniel tried to intervene, he was stopped by a brutal blow that left him immobilized on the ground. The fight seemed increasingly hopeless.
José, seeing his friends fall, launched himself at Lucifer with all the fury in his being.
— I won't let you win! — José shouted, his voice trembling with the force of his desperation.
Lucifer caught him with deadly speed, his hands wrapping around José's neck with an unstoppable force.
— Pathetic, you've always been weak — Lucifer whispered, his smile filled with venom.
With a brutal twist, Lucifer pierced José's chest with his dark sword, throwing him to the ground like a broken doll. Lucifer's laughter filled the air, a terrifying sound.
— Dad…! — Ruwi cried, tears falling fiercely as his world crumbled before him.
Lucifer approached Ruwi, his cruel smile satisfied, enjoying every second of his suffering.
— This is a game you can't win, boy. Surrender… — Lucifer whispered, his voice laced with mockery.
But Ruwi, with his eyes closed, heard a familiar whisper, like a distant echo cutting through the chaos. The voice of Aunt Liz.
— Use faith, nephew. Let it flow — whispered Aunt Liz's ghost, like a beacon of light in the darkness.
With titanic effort, Ruwi stood up, his eyes glowing with determination, his pain and sorrow transforming into strength.
— Lord, I ask for forgiveness for my sins. I thank you for the life you have given me — Ruwi said, looking up to the sky, defiant.
Lucifer, confused, laughed with disdain.
— God won't hear you, you are insignificant — he mocked, his laughter echoing in the air.
But Ruwi took a deep breath, feeling the divine light fill him with strength. He smiled and, with a firm voice, proclaimed:
— In the name of Yeshua, leave this place now!
A blinding light descended from the heavens, enveloping Lucifer. The divine force hurled him backward, tearing apart the black smoke that surrounded him. Lucifer screamed in terror.
— No, no, NO! — Lucifer howled, being expelled from the house with an indescribable force, his power dissipating into the celestial glow.
Ruwi, trembling, ran to his father, who lay on the verge of death. José's soul seemed to fade, and a feeling of emptiness filled the air.
— Father, please, I don't want to lose you! — Ruwi cried, his words filled with desperation.
José, with almost superhuman effort, raised his hand and touched his son's face, his gaze serene despite the pain.
— Son, don't worry. I will go in peace, knowing that you were a good boy… — José whispered, an indescribable peace in his voice.
Ruwi held him tightly, and in that embrace, José took his final breath.
That marks the end of Season One.
