Central Mountain City, Chuta's home.
"Hahaha... You shouldn't call him crazy", I said to Chuquy after laughing. "He's just a man who's passionate about discovering new things", I added.
"But his behavior is very extreme", she said reproachfully. "He's been attached to you since you were two", she added, looking annoyed.
"Are you jealous of him?", I asked, flashing a suggestive smile.
"Me? Jealous?", she asked rhetorically, looking at me in dismay. "Never", she denied, avoiding my gaze.
"Tsundere sister", I thought, seeing her reaction.
I knew that the moment of separation we had a couple of years ago had changed our closeness. Also, due to the need to create new things, with Faoa's help, I had to spend a lot of time with him, creating plans, teaching him basic sciences, and setting up laboratories. It all led to Chuquy becoming annoyed by the closeness she had with Faoa, and that she only showed this professional side of herself, leaving aside her loving sisterly side.
"I was just joking", I clarified before she got even more upset. "By the way, I need you to call Upqua to the meeting", I said, changing the subject.
"I'll notify him", she said as she started to leave the room. "You should get ready quickly; there's only an hour left until the meeting", she said before leaving and closing the door.
"Thanks for reminding me!", I yelled back.
An hour later, Kingdom Ministry, Amphitheater.
"Good morning to everyone presents at the annual meeting of kingdom leaders", I greeted everyone with a smile. "This will be the first meeting of many, in this new building called the ministry. This room will be called the Ministry Amphitheater, and the annual meetings will be held here", I announced to everyone.
"First, I would like to welcome the newest members of our kingdom, who, bravely and with a desire for prosperity, joined the Suaza Kingdom, now becoming part of our people and our new brothers", I said happily, pointing to the new chiefs and governors who would be part of the kingdom's third expansion.
Clap, clap… Clap, clap, clap.
"Now that we've concluded the introductions, we'll move on to the meetings we've had up until now", I informed everyone. "But since I know some of you are just taking part in this meeting for the first time, I'll explain the topics to be discussed", I added, looking at the new members.
"First, I'll make some announcements. Then the Chiefs will present progress summaries for their territories. Then it will be time for petitions. Finally, I'll conclude with the annual guidelines I'll issue to each territory", I explained slowly, more than once, using the dialects of those present with each repetition. "On the other hand, as I said in the previous meeting, the number of participants in these meetings will be fixed, and this number can only change if new territories are included in our kingdom", I added.
"Now that said, I'll move on to reporting on the progress and making some announcements", I informed everyone.
"First, I am pleased to inform you that we now control the areas, or rather regions; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and part of region 10, which are on this map", I announced, pointing to the map that many had been staring at since the beginning of the meeting. "Here is the Central Mountain City where we are now, this is the Lake Mountain City, and this is the Crossroads City", I added, pointing out some landmarks so everyone could locate their respective territories. "Some of the new members of this board are from regions 3, 4, 5, and 10, as well as some of you from regions 6, 7, and 8. But I didn't name them because there are some of the neighboring villages from whom we're still waiting for answers regarding their joining the kingdom", I explained, noticing that some of them noticed they weren't in those regions.
"Yes, tell me", I said to one of the new members who had raised his hand to ask.
"What's that blue thing on the map?", he asked in his dialect.
"That's a giant lake we call the ocean", I explained using his dialect, patiently knowing that he came from the east of the central mountain range, so it's very likely he'd never visited the ocean. "Also, the water of the ocean, unlike that of the lake, is salty", I added.
"Salty?", he asked in surprise.
"That's right", I replied with a smile. "Anything else you'd like to know?", I asked, looking at the rest of the audience as well.
"Thank you very much, young Chuta", he said respectfully, blushing in embarrassment.
"Second, as I mentioned in the previous meeting, these regions will be led by a leader called a governor. So far, we have six of the 10 regions, so at this meeting, the first six governors for these regions and the six capitals corresponding to each will be appointed", I announced excitedly. "However, since we don't control all of Region 10, its governorship will have to be temporarily built in another of its cities", I clarified.
"The names of the capitals will be chosen by their regional councils, but the regions will be named according to their position", I began to explain. "For example, Central Mountain City won't be the capital of the region, but it will be the seat of the kingdom's government. It will house the Ministry, the Basilica of the Gods, the Command Office, and the Simte Academy", I added before appointing the region's governor. "This city will belong to the South-Central Region, but the true capital will be what was formerly known as Mountain Crossing City. The governor will be the current Chieftain of the city, and the prime ministers of his region will be appointed by the kingdom's government house until the local academy graduates qualified individuals for the position", I explained in detail, pointing directly at the dot on the map.
"For the North Central Region, its capital will be the former New Valley City, and its governor will be the current Chieftain, and as in the previous and subsequent cases, the ministers will be appointed by the kingdom's government house", I told everyone, pointing to the dot on the map and looking directly at the city's Chieftain.
"For the Northwest Region, its capital will be what is currently known as Lake Mountain City, and its governor will be the current Chieftain", I explained, looking at Nyia's father.
"In the case of regions without a Great City, their leaders will be former Chiefs who already have experience managing large territories or leaders of important cities in the kingdom. This situation will only exist for two years, and at the same time, the vice-governor, who will be a local leader from each of the regions, will assume the role of governor at the end of this term", I said, noticing that the rest of those present had doubts about who would be chosen.
"For the Northern Region, the capital will be in the city near the lake, which has been under construction for over a year, and its governor will be the Chief of Mountain Pass City. In the case of the Eastern Region, the capital will be in the city under construction east of Central Mountain City, and its governor will be Miss Chuquy, who until now has overseen the administration of the kingdom", I announced, surprising everyone present and my sister, who looked quite nervous.
"Young Chuta, excuse me for interrupting you, but who is this woman named Chuquy?", asked the new Governor of the Northwest Region.
"She's my older sister", I replied casually. "Unbeknownst to you, she's been organizing meetings and solving the kingdom's problems for the past two years. Furthermore, she's perhaps the third most knowledgeable person in the Kingdom so far", I explained in detail so they would appreciate my sister's abilities.
"Thank you very much for your answer, Young Chuta. I'm sorry for interrupting you", he said, noticing that I was looking at him seriously.
"No need to worry", I said, smiling broadly when I saw that no one seemed to object. "In fact, if you feel I'm making a mistake, don't hesitate to let me know so we can discuss it", I added.
"Back to the last region", I said, returning to the previous topic. "The Northeast Region, the capital, will be located in this area, but since we haven't yet finished negotiating with the local people, the provisional governorship must be located in the city under construction closest to the center of the region, and the governor will be the current Chieftain of the Central Mountain City", I finished announcing the governors and capitals.
"Finishing the previous problem, I will now announce a couple of things that have developed over the last year", I said, finishing the previous topic.
"The academies in the main cities, and now capitals, have already been completed, and as I told you before, unfortunately, we will only be able to teach a few subjects in each academy until the number of graduates is sufficient to be able to teach all the specialties in each of the kingdom's academies. So far, only four academies have been built in the South Central, North Central, Northwest, and North regions; the next ones will be ready next year", I proudly announced the completion of the academies, which will begin operating next month.
"On the other hand, at the previous meeting, I announced that a phase of exploration was being prepared, which has already borne fruit", I told everyone. "After we finish convincing the remaining peoples of the Northeast region, we can begin trading with some people who inhabit a group of islands in the ocean", I added.
"Taking control of some of these islands will be vital for future exploration", I told everyone with a solemn air. "And it will also help us meet the people on the other side of the ocean… If only they knew what they could do to find riches", I thought, looking at the attentive faces of everyone present.

[A/N: CHAPTER COMPLETED
Hello everyone.
Chuta continues talking with his sister, who will be an important figure. Also, the meeting with the current government officials from each region begins.
Unnecessary fact of the day: cannons were used by the European conquistadors as a deterrent, but after some technicians with knowledge of minerals and gunpowder production discovered that all the necessary materials were available in many territories throughout the Americas, they became a key weapon for defense and attack against insurgents in subsequent conquests.
