In a parallel world full of constant conflict and psychological pressure, Saitama sat on his couch as if nothing had happened the day before. His burnt egg? Just a simple reminder that life isn't always packed with protein.
But… today was different. Today was the day the universe and pizza would decide Saitama's fate.
What?!
Yes, the pizza. That one tiny remaining slice, sitting at the edge of the box, like a decisive battle between good and evil. And of course, Tatsumaki had decided she deserved it.
"I'm taking it!" she declared, her voice sharp, her eyes gleaming like a cat ready to pounce on a fish.
Saitama glanced at her, then at the last slice of pizza, innocently sitting in the corner of the box.
"If you want it, take it." Saitama said, as uninterested as always.
"But... I can't say no to pizza. Especially when I have control over the situation." He added, his voice flat, as if this meant little to him.
Tatsumaki narrowed her eyes:
"I'm not leaving it for you."
And with that, the decision was made. Everything in the universe was now at stake.
The battle.
But it wasn't just any battle. It wasn't a battle between heroes. It was a battle for something small, yet powerful enough to spark a great conflict.
Tatsumaki changed her tactics. She used her flying abilities to hover above Saitama, her eyes laser-focused on the last slice, her hate palpable.
"This time, I won't let it slide." she said, her voice tense, knowing this fight wouldn't end easily.
As she moved to dive for the pizza, Saitama leapt with astonishing speed—but in the most nonchalant way, as if jumping over a small rock, with little care.
Just then, Genos entered the room, wearing modern sportswear as if swimming through a swamp of cosmic garbage was part of his new training.
"Sensei, I'm here just to make sure everything is under control," he said, trying to look like the last hope in this chaos.
"I think I'll break this situation down and try to help you... using battle strategy analysis."
But Saitama was enjoying the moment, possibly more interested in watching Tatsumaki jump around him with comical movements.
"Genos, if you want to help, just get me a cold drink. The rest is unnecessary drama."
Genos stepped back, then reassessed the situation, as if what was happening before him was just a minor issue in his many calculations. "Understood, Sensei. I'll keep an eye on it."
As Tatsumaki was about to land the final blow, Saitama looked at the pizza.
In the end, he decided to put an end to the conflict… but he simply took the slice of pizza, enjoying it in silence.
"Oh, was that piece for you?" Saitama said with a strange smile, as he devoured the last slice.
Tatsumaki, who had been soaring through the air ready to strike, stopped mid-air.
"You…" her words fell like heavy stones.
Then, as if it was just a fleeting thought, Tatsumaki decided to abandon the battle.
"Ah, you know, I can go eat something else." she said nonchalantly, though it was clear she was quite upset.
Meanwhile, Saitama, sitting and enjoying the scene, added an unexpected remark as he chewed the last slice.
"Pizza's better than fighting, right?"
