As alex was walking home while carrying a huge piece of crocadilon meat with his body drenched with muddy water, he had a bummed out look on his face and lazily said out loud "Ahhhh, I'm so tired! Like seriously, who would have thought fighting wild beasts in the forest would have been that hard. I mean I've only done that twice, but this one's just take the cake. The first one was when I was a kid of just 7, I was hunting for a boar and I ended up finding and fighting a huge ass bull that looked like it crashes bulldozers for fun. Kojin was watching me run for my life and didn't even think of helping. Damn old man", as he kept on walking, he looked at the sky while trying to remember the second time he had fought a wild beast in the forest "Uuuum, the second time was when I was on D-rank... I think....", alex instantly had a small look of excitement on his face "Oh, I remember. I fought a big ass scorpion. Damn I remember now. Hold on, I could have died tho, I literally had a hole blown on my chest.". Alex chuckled abit and said to himself "I could have died but yet here I am laughing about it. I guess this is what it's like to come out alive from near death experiences. That was really an event of a life time." Alex finally made it back home without any problems,he goes to the kitchen and immediately puts the crocadilon meat into the freezer "Damn, that was heavy. Now, it's about time to change. I smell like shit.", alex goes into his room and undresses himself, he took a sniff at his black hoodie and instantly looked like he was about to vomit. Alex quickly entered the shower and took a nice bath "Ahh, what's better than having an afternoon bath while home alone.", alex kept on washing himself before getting out of the shower and wears some regular clothes. After that, he goes outside to spread his black hoodie and joggers that were drenched and stinking due to the fight he had with the crocadilons. Alex sat down and looked at the clear sky "Well, damn. Clear skies as always. Hm, if kinto and the rest had seen me drenched and smelling like shit, i would be in for a roast of a lifetime.", alex took a sigh as he imagined in his head how the situation would have gone down. While in his imagination, he appeared wet and smelling like muddy water, kinto and son were laughing at him while deo was visibly trying to do his best to hold down his laugh. Mori was no exception as he was covering his entire face in order not to make it obvious that he's laughing, alex said while being annoyed "Fuck you guys!", kinto's laugh increased as he said while laughing "Damn alex, I knew you were an idiot, but this takes the cake!", son while laughing said "Oh God. You got jumped by crocadilons and your head didn't tell you to run on sight? Looks like you got too much of that main character syndrome". Mori said to alex while covering his face "Dude, how the hell.....", he was trying his best not to laugh before continuing his sentence "How.....pft! The hell did you end up in a situation like this? It's... it's just too funny!", deo on the other hand was just laughing uncontrollably without saying a word. Alex looking at deo just said to himself "All of you guy are just annoying.", baraka while trying not to laugh stood infront of alex while facing the rest of them "Oh come on you guy, this ain't nice. Let's cut him some slack.", alex who had a funny but depressing look on his face tilted his head while looking at baraka and said "You know, you can laugh too if you want.", baraka immediately started laughing with everyone, alex with his facial expressions then said to himself "Yep, these are my friends.... unfortunately." Alex finished his imagination and had a very depressing look on his face "Yep, that's how they'd react alright.", alex had a sigh of relief and said to himself "Well, it doesn't matter, we all have done one stupid thing or the other.".Alex looked at the sky while laying down on the grass infront of his house "Wait a minute,what do I even do? I mean, aside from daily training and going on missions, what else do I do? Well I do read alot of light novels and manga's, I watch lots of anime, and I even hang out with friends, although that was back in the city." Alex kept quiet for a while as he was just allowing the breeze to blow his body abit "Well, I do sleep alot. Although now that I'm in this three years of training thing, all those things I mentioned are limited. Hm, I wonder what I can do now?" A few moments later, alex was in his bed space, he was pretending to be a reporter "Alright folks, welcome to A.N.D hot new. A channel where we interview our soldiers on the kind of fight they just experienced. Today I'm with....", another alex appeared(The real alex) "I'm alex starion, it's a pleasure to be infront of television with you.", alex's clone(The one pretending to be a reporter) then asked "Okay alex starion, it's a pleasure to have you. So alex, what does it feel like to almost be crocadilon food.", alex(The real one) replied feeling a little depressed and with a nervous smile on his face "It sucks, let me tell ya.", alex (The reporter) then replied "Hm, I see. It must be awfull being drenched in muddy water while dodging giant building sized lizards.", alex(The real one replied) "Ahh damn, it is awfull. Makes you smell like shit." Alex(The reporter) laughed and said "I can only imagine. So alex, those skills of yours were very impressive, your training must be paying off. So, what's the plan for the rest of the day.", alex (The real one) replied "Well me, as from now till night time, I shall be taking a good rest without issues.", alex(The reporter) laughed and said "Well deserved". Alex snapped his finger which caused his clone pretending to be a reporter to turn into a doll(It was a shadow dolls technique that alex's uses to create clones of himself with dolls), alex lays on his bed with a sigh and said "You are kinda right me. The rest is well deserved.", he said this as he slowly falls asleep while looking at the ceiling.
