In the wastelands, sughi was running at an incredible speed, one that was moving almost as fast as lightning, he was using his saber to cut down some monsters that filled the land around him, the monsters had a human like form and were red and black in colour, they were also about 6 foot 8 in height. While doing so, he said to himself "Damn, these monsters are pretty damn weak with the exception of a few of them.". As he was cutting them down with his saber while moving at an incredible speed, he had a smirk on his face saying "Oh well, anything to get me busy I suppose.", too his surprise, a beam of energy comes flying at him. Sughi see's this and instantly dodges, the beam was so strong that it eviscerated a large part of the waste lands in a matter of seconds. Sughi still had a smirk on his face as he took a look at a huge monster, about 9 feet tall walking towards him "Well, well. What do we have here?", he said to himself with a smug smirk on his face while looking at a very buff monster that had horns on its head and it's knuckles, the monster looked very cool to sughi. Sughi maintaining his smirk with his hands in his pocket as he walked close to the monster "Wow, you're a big one. A very big and tall one.", his eyes started to scan the monster like a computer, sughi came to the realisation that the monster he was facing was on the high ends of C-rank, he said to himself "Wow, this thing is on the high ends of C-rank.", his smirk became slightly wider "This thing can wipe out the city in a the span of an hour. This guy's bad news." The monster launched a powerful blow at sughi which caused a devastating explosion of dust to fly all over the place, as the smoke cleared off, sughi with his robotic arm that was gray and yellow in colour was able to catch this blow. Sughi said to the monster "Now aren't you a tough guy.", he prepared a blow with his other robotic arm and sent the monster flying with the shock of the punch being strong enough to break the ground around him "I'm leaving the rest of these small fries to you guys.", he said this with a smirk on his face and proceeded to zoom off at an intense speed. Meanwhile, levi was untop of a hill with his arms turned into blasters as he started to fire powerful beams of energy that were eviscerating the monsters below "Always cocky as usual. Leaving these small fries to us while he takes on the big one is such a pain.", tomoa on the other hand was just standing in a spot, hands in his pockets and the wind blowing him, the monsters were rushing at him with an insane speed, tomoa took a sigh and said to himself "What a joke.", before a huge dark circle of energy appeared below him and started blasting orbs made from dark destructive energy at the monsters at rapid fire "Tch. Now I kind of feel bad. Fighting these weak monsters is like taking on a bunch of kids who just entered C-rank. I feel like a bully. Well whatever, I don't really care." 9:PM in the city, levi, sughi and tomoa were sitting in sughi's lab, the arrangement was like as if they were in a conference meeting. They were sitting infront of a huge screen with veronica being the one holding the meeting as she was standing infront of the screen "Thanks sughi, for letting us use your lab.", veronica said to sughi. Sughi replied nonchalantly "Whatever, let's just get this over quickly.", levi then says "Although I've gotta say its been a while since I last entered your lab sughi, the place looks cool as usual.", sughi replied while being a little annoyed "You mean you like what I've done with the place and wished you could live here?", levi replied "Tch, as if!", in an annoyed manner. Tomoa just sighs in dissapointment and said to himself "Are these really my seniors? And by the way, aren't there supposed to be like 5 of us?", levi then turned to veronica and asked "By the way, where's diablo?", sughi replied "He said he'd be a little late coz he's busy.", levi replied while still being slightly annoyed "Busy my ass. Bro's probably just chilling and goofing around as usual." The mechanical door opens and diablo walks in with his hands in his pockets "Yo.", sughi said to diablo but with his annoyance slowly calming down "Don't just *YO* us. You're late.", diablo replied "My bad.", and proceeded to take a seat. After diablo took his seat, veronica then says "Alright now, let the meeting commence." Almost an hour later, veronica was almost done explaining to everyone "Now, the long and short of it all is that monsters have been appearing all over the planet lately. Some have taken down countries while some are walking towards the city. My bet is that they are on a divide and conquer tactic, which means....", sughi then finished Veronica's sentence but he was serious "They are drawn to power. They face off the stronger countries and then just mildly ignore the weaker one's.", he had a smirk on his face as he then says "Typical. Looks like they aren't idiots. Although some scientists in the city examined the bodies of these monsters and realized that they aren't from earth at all. I also had to supervise and examine as well, they're body mechanics dont look like anything humanity has seen at all", levi replied with his hand on his chin "Which means it's possible that they are from another world entirely.", sughi replied to levi while being annoyed but in a funny way "Hey, don't just cut me off like that ", levi replied with a teasing smirk "Hey, you did it to veronica just now, might as well do it to you.", they both then started to argue but playfully, tomoa just sighed with his hand on his head "Damn it all, these guys are the top tier soldiers of this city, and their behaving like kids." Veronica just smiled and said "Now, the meetings come to a end", but in her mind, she thought of something else. Veronica had a wierd smile on her face while thinking "What if.... i just sneak into the laboratory, take a peek at these monsters and add them to my army of shikigami. Yeah, that sounds like a bright ideas", diablo on the other hand had a wierd look on his face while looking at veronica "She's thinking of something crazy again." Later on at night, diablo was just staring at the stars while standing on a building with the breeze blowing on him "You know, you're supposed to be training kazuki and the rest of your students in your home Base.", veronica who he was talking too, then walked towards him from behind while hugging him and said "You worry too much. Plus, kazuki and the rest of my students are smart kids, they know what they're doing , i've given them the training exercises they need. So it's fine. Right now, I want to focus on the girls.", she let's go of diablo and waved to him saying "See you later.", and just casually disappeared into the dark. Diablo looked at the night sky filled with stars and said to himself "Ichika and I usually looked at the stars like this back then." He keeps quiet for a moment, allowing the breeze to blow on him for a while before saying to himself "I wonder how alex and kazuki are doing right now." Alex on the other hand just woke up from his nap while still feeling sleepy "Wow,I think I just over slept for a while.", kazuki on the other hand just had a shocked look on his face as he was face to face with a giant snake that was pink on colour "God no. Why did veronica have to make me do this?!!!", he exclaimed in shock.
