Haruto finds himself floating inside a black void.
But Haruto is still confused on how this new World works. He has had noone guide him in this badly inttoduced afterlife.
"What is this?! Where am I?! What is this World!!!!!"
With nowhere to go he decides to head towards a path laid out.
After some time. He reaches a bright light
When he entered. He realized that he was in a forest with giant trees with a dark atmosphere.
Suddenly. A bunch of hollows attacked him.
One of them exclaims
"This hollow's spiritual energy is strong! When I eat him, I'll surely become one of those big guys!"
There was this one hollow that was bigger and more intimidating than the others.
"Attack him!"
They follow the hollow's orders and ran straight up to Haruto, aiming to kill him and consume him afterwards.
He ran for his life
Moments later....
He was able to outrun them and hid behind a tree.
Suddenly.... A loud roar comes behind him. A tall monstrous creature wearing all black with a white mask with laser red eyes.
"What is that thing?!!?!"
It raises its foot threatening Haruto's life.
"I can't dodge it!!"
He immediately tried to run away from it to avoid the damage, but Haruto was too late.
As soon as the tall creature stomped his foot on the ground with full force.
Due to the strength of the impact. Haruto was flown in the air, his body hit a random tree causing him to be injured.
As Haruto stood back up. The creature, standing before him, readies up a red blast filled with spiritual energy.
Haruto could do nothing but stand there.
But then....
A man with same black kimono as the person he encountered at the World of the Living, but this time, the person is wearing a white mask and some fur.
In just a blink or an eye. He kills the creature with his sword.
"What the hell was that!? Another one of those monstrous things?! It was insanely fast! I couldn't even see him!"
Haruto was still questioning what just happened. He couldn't question everything else further as the man with the mask closes in and raised his sword at Haruto.
The man's sword slashes Haruto's traps. But Haruto quickly grabbed the man's sword with his hand and tries to take it away from him.
"I don't know who you are but i don't wanna fight you!"
He kept on hitting Haruto with heavy punches.
Haruto's guard, and grip over the sword lowers with each hit.
"Just stop!!"
Haruto puts his hand over the man's face attempting to stop the fight.
"Just drop the blade and let's talk this out!"
The man mutters to himself..
"A hollow that doesn't wanna fight?
No.... It's clearly a facade, such phenomenon wouldn't exist within such a heartless race of monsters."
The man dealt a critical punch to Haruto's stomach.
Haruto's guard was clearly hurt upon the punch and sent him backwards.
"PLEASE STOP!! I'VE KILLED 2 PEOPLE ALREADY! I don't you to be in that list...."
With Haruto's emotional state again out of control. A huge burst of spiritual pressure was released.
"What is this sudden burst of energy!! Well... Atleast i know he's not lying."
As a result the hollows that we're previously after Haruto is back on the hunt for him.
The man realizes this
In a fell swoop. He kills each and every one of the hollows that approached him and Haruto.
But then....
The big and strong hollow from earlier that commanded the hollows shows up.
He speaks.
"Ah.... Ashido. You're always a pain, you know that? Always ruining our plans for evolution!"
Ashido doesn't speak a word at all.
Ashido immediately charges at him
But the hollow easily parries his attack.
Ashido sends slashes towards the Hollow but it easily dodges the attacks and sends a punch towards Ashino.
The punch heading towards Ashino is too fast.
He was forced to block with his left forearm, but not without an injury. The punch effectively rendered Ashido's left arm hurt.
While Ashido is still in the air.
The hollow immediately slams him on the ground.
Ashido is lying down on the floor hurt from the attack.
The hollow exclaims.
"I have gotten far stronger than we last met..... Regardles.... I.... Calveros! An Adjuchas! Will end the curse YOU brought upon to the Forest centuries ago!"
Calveros was about to send a kick until.....
Haruto was able to deal a right hook to Calveros' face
Due to Haruto's immense Spiritual pressure still leaking uncontrollably. the punch was so powerful that Calveros' face was severely wounded.
With worry and shock, Calveros touched his face and exclaimed.
"My face..... Wait..... No..... MY FACE!!! YOU'VE STOLEN MY CHANCES OF EVOLVING!!!! OUT OF ALL PEOPLE IT HAD TO BE SOME RANDOM HOLLOW!!!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!!"
(Adjuchas stop evolving when they get severe injuries)
Calveros let's out a roar and quickly headed towards Haruto.
Haruto was still hesitant but he brought up his fists.
Calveros started punching Haruto.
Haruto attempts to block his attacks but he couldn't block it properly as Calveros' strength is far greater.
So he Calveros made work with Haruto. He gave him swift jab, a knee, a backhand and an uppercut, all on his face.
He tried to fight back by throwing a punch.
But it was easily blocked by Calveros. So he threw out a front kick.
Sending Haruto towards a tree.
Before Calveros could end Haruto.
At the last second. Ashido intervened by carrying Haruto on his shoulder, attempting to escape with him despite his injured arm.
Calveros does his best to pursue them.
He quickly got close to both of them. But Haruto grabbed Ashido's blade and stabs it on Calveros' foot. Forcing him stop from the pain.
While on their way to Ashido's base, Haruto speaks.
"Hey.... Uhhh Ashido... I thank you for saving me from those... Hollows"
Ashido does not respond
They finally arrive at Ashido's base, which was a cave.
