Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: Mora Mora Mora!

Since he couldn't increase Strength any further—

He figured he might as well try boosting his Elemental Affinity.

He already had an Electro Vision, after all.

If his affinity increased, that should allow him to gather elemental energy faster and in greater quantities, right?

"Add 200 points to Elemental Affinity for me."

[Prompt: The current maximum Elemental Affinity for one Vision is 100. Since the host only has one Vision, the highest affinity is capped at 100. To unlock higher-level attributes, please use Life Simulation more frequently.]

Tch!

There it was again!

Kael had no choice but to dump 200 points each into Stamina and Intelligence instead.

After all the updates, Kael's current attributes were:

Name: Kael

Height: 185 cm

Weight: 80 kg

Intelligence: 250 (You're now a master schemer who can plan strategies with precision and see through what ordinary people completely miss.)

Charisma: 999 (Everyone who lays eyes on you feels like they've seen you before and instantly likes you.)

Leadership: 30 (No one really listens to you. You're more of a follower.)

Strength: 999 (Your body has been enhanced to the extreme—one punch can cause the very mountains of Teyvat to crumble.)

Stamina: 299 (You're overflowing with energy—able to fight continuously for a month without tiring.)

Elemental Affinity: 100 (You're especially attractive to the Electro element.)

Currently Possessed Vision: Electro

Bound Talents: Born with Great Strength, Masochist, Kind-hearted

Remaining Attribute Points: 10

Kael figured—as long as he didn't have to fight the Seven Archons, he should be able to travel across the land of Teyvat without much issue.

Still, he was in a world as extraordinary as this one—who knew what he might encounter?

And who doesn't want to become stronger?

But before any of that… there was a much more urgent problem.

He was broke!

It wasn't yet time to deliver the wild boar meat he'd promised to Diluc.

If he wanted to earn Mora through hunting, his only option was to head to Dragonspine and hunt frozen boars.

"You're a Knight of Favonius, aren't you? Don't you need to work or something?"

Early the next morning, Kael was preparing to leave Amber's place and head for Dragonspine.

Who would've guessed—the girl still insisted on following him.

"I already took time off from the Knights of Favonius! I'm off duty for the next few days. Besides, I'm a scout knight, okay? You're an otherworldly traveler in Mondstadt—I have to follow you! What if you do something bad to the city?"

Amber's retort was solid and logical, leaving Kael with a pounding headache.

"I'm going to Dragonspine. The environment there is harsh, and one misstep could get you frozen to death."

Amber pouted. "Perfect! My Vision is Pyro! I can make fires to keep you warm."

"A torch can do that too."

"I don't care! I'm following you no matter what!"

Kael really had no way to deal with this stubborn girl.

"Alright, alright. Follow me if you want. But if we run into trouble, I'm not helping you."

A mischievous glint appeared in Amber's eyes. "Hehe, I know you won't just leave me behind."

Seeing that, Kael decided to stop arguing with her.

If she wanted to tag along, so be it.

Besides, he'd just boosted his Stamina yesterday—he had energy to burn.

He decided to make a run straight for Dragonspine.

If Amber couldn't keep up and ended up getting left behind, well—not his fault.
