Stepping into the building, Elon walked forward, leaving the door open.
However, as soon as his hands left the door, a strong wind blew and shot the door.
Elon felt a shiver coursing through his body. It was as if the wind that blew, carried a large amount of cold.
Going forward, he began to look at every corner of the place.
Rays of light from the window give the room a sense of light.
Although the building was dusty and faint. It looked like a place that hasn't been used in years.
The walls were cracked, the roof was falling, wind entering the window, blowing the torn and cold curtains.
This was enough to send a chill down Elon's spine. There was nowhere a person lived in this place.
So he thought. And if there was such a person, they would be more like how their building is.
Elon continued inspecting the place. As much as he could tell, this particular area of the building looked like the living room.
'I wonder if there is anyone home. I think I should call out. That would be more appropriate.'
Elon went closer to the seat that was standing next to the table standing with only three legs.
He was curious, because this chair was the only thing in this living room that didn't look old.
He went closer to it and touched it. Inspecting his hand, he noticed that there wasn't any dust.
'Just as I thought.'
Elon touched the chair again, rubbing his hand on it. And afterwards looked at his hands.
'Still nothing. Then that would only mean one thing….'
"There is someone living here."
There were no two ways about it. Elon was able to think fast and get to a conclusion.
Out of all the objects that were in this living room, only one wasn't dusty. And that was a chair.
The only way this would make sense is if someone was using it constantly.
"Hello?"
"Is anyone home?"
Elon called out.
But there wasn't any answer. Instead the place became a bit more silent than earlier.
There wasn't any much difference to Elon since it was almost like this before, however the atmosphere changed.
Since he didn't get any response, he decided to call again.
However, as he was about to open his mouth, a strong wind blew in his direction again.
This time it was heavier than earlier. The wind carried the dust that was around Elon's face, causing him to react immediately.
Once that had ended, Elon composed himself. He cleaned his face, especially his eyes, and afterwards placed his tie back into his blazer.
"What was that with just now?"
Knowing that the only cause of the wind entering the building so much, was due to the fact that the curtains were torn.
Elon decided to go and close the window. However as he turned and walked to the window, he froze.
'What?… what is this strange feeling.'
_
Elon hadn't yet known a lot about this new world he had entered, and hadn't had any knowledge for surviving in it
Although one thing was for sure. He had a very good instinct.
'What is this presence I feel. It's like something or someone is watching me.'
Elon stood facing the window for a moment. He stared outside through the window, but he didn't see anyone.
'That means….'
He quickly turned his back to check who it was, however there wasn't anyone there.
'What? The presence has disappeared? I'm sure I felt someone's gaze at me.'
_
Back on earth where Elon rarely spoke to people, however was able to tell when anyone was talking about him behind him,
especially when they are staring at him intensely. Elon got used to this feeling and then became sharp in his instincts.
He could easily tell if there was someone talking about him in the distance or if they were staring at him intensely.
At first he thought of this as a super power, however, he knew that such a thing never existed,
so there was no need to dwell much on it.
_
'There's no way I made a mistake. Someone was definitely staring at me. Someone is surely here.'
"Come out!"
Elon yelled.
"I know you are here, so stop hiding and show yourself!"
/WHOOSH!/
Another pile of wind blew again, and this time it was so heavy that it began pulling the roof of the building.
The house began to shake making it seem like it was going to fall..
Even with this intense wind Elon was able to stand his ground. He blocked the wind from pushing him,
making only his blazer to dance with the flow.
Soon after, the wind stopped and Elon settled his composure.
He was about to take the next step to the next room,
when he heard.
"YOU HAVE A SHARP SENSE!"
A thick yet cunning voice spoke out.
This heavy tone sent shivering down Elon. The voice was so commanding and terrifying at the same time.
"BUT EVEN STILL, IT IS NOT NEATLY ENOUGH TO-"
"Show yourself!"
Elon yelled, cutting the strange voice short.
"HAHA… YOU'VE GOT BALLS KID."
Elon stood his ground. Hearing the voice made him scared to his core. Although he wasn't showing it.
He acted as though he could take it, however it was still too much for him to take in his current self.
"WHY HAVE YOU COME HERE?"
The strange voice asked intensely. It had a cold tone attached to the question.
This made it seem that if a wrong answer was given, they could easily wipe Elon.
'A simple trick. He's using his terrifying voice to scare me. But that couldn't work All I have to do is pinpoint their location by following the voice.'
-
"Show yourself and I would tell you my reason for being here."
Elon proclaimed with such authority.
"HMM? IT SEEMS THAT YOU EVEN HAVE MORE COURAGE THAT YOU LET ON."
"I know that you are trying to scare me like you did all those people who tried entering here. However I am not like those people, I didn't come here for some inspection. I came here for a purpose."
After uttering this, there was no response from the strange voice.
Elon became puzzled and wary. He knew that it wasn't a good sign that the voice had gone silent.
'Did I say it wrong? I'm sure that was supposed to be a test of courage. I have seen such in the movies so I had to improvise.'
Elon turned in a circle looking for any sign of a person and as well as waiting for the voice to speak again, and…
"WHAT PURPOSE? WAS THAT THE SAME THING YOU TOLD THE YOUNG LADY THAT DUMPED YOU HERE?"
'What? Is he saying that he saw when Diana and I came in here. That means he had been watching from the very start. I never felt anything at that moment, was it because I wasn't close enough.'
Various thoughts clouded Elon's head, as he thought of every action he took when he got to the building.
-
"She didn't dump me here. She had done her part in giving me directions, so it was necessary for her leave. Now come show yourself and I will tell you my purpose of being here"
"And what is this purpose?"
An old cracking voice spoke directly behind Elon.
Feeling that it was too close, Elon quickly dashed away from it.
"Aye… you have good reflexes."
Elon raised his head and saw an unexpected looking figure in front of him.
