In a land of magic and greatest wonders. There was once an individual. A very powerful one. He was so close to nature and had a power so mysterious and terrifying.
However this individual wasn't overtaken by his abilities. Even though he was capable of dividing nature and bending its elements to his own will.
This was a fit that not everyone could do. At most there wasn't anyone who could do it as well as this individual.
He was seen as the peak of what humanity could reach.
A supreme being.
However, with such power comes many responsibilities. At the time of this individual, the world was in chaos.
And so this individual took it upon himself to save the world and bring peace to it.
This individual used up all their powers to stop the chaos and bring the people together.
He was not only blessed with the power of bending nature to his will. But also with the power of bringing people together.
He accomplished this task that he assigned to himself, and made the world a better place. He created a kingdom and within it created various regions.
This was a way to unite the people together. And on top of it all, he ruled as the one above all.
..
The people praised and adored him. And gave the title The Nexus Sovereign. Each word, having its own meaning to it.
Although even with such power, he wasn't able to escape death as he was still a human. After many years of reign and glory,
he gave in to death.
The people grieved and wept for his passing. They appreciate what he had given them, and thought that it might all go away just as he did.
However, hope wasn't lost as a new Nexus Sovereign arose from one of the regions, giving the people a new hope of life.
This became a thing, as every region was able to produce the next Nexus Sovereign after the last was gone.
It became normal, and went on for seven generations with the reign of eight Nexus Sovereign each able to live for at least a hundred years.
..
However, it was said that the current Nexus Sovereign who was known to be the eight, mysterious disappeared without a trace. Leaving the kingdom in a panic and no one to rule over them.
The kingdom wasn't ready so such a vacancy and then became vulnerable. Although like always, they decided to pick out a new Nexus Sovereign, however there wasn't anyone yet who was up for the task.
With this, so many years passed without a ruler and that was when they came up with an idea after a long while.
To create an institution, hoping that one day a new Nexus Sovereign would emerge and rule over them once again.
However, if that was the case, who was ruling the kingdom now?

In a room mostly dark, except for a single candle of flame at the center of two individuals, illuminating the room.
The first individual who was seated was a young boy in his youth, with jet-black hair wearing an armless top and a short. He looked not older than 17 years of age. The boy was seated on the floor facing the other person.
The other person was a woman in her old age. She had pure grey hair and wrinkles all over her face, but still looked like someone with so much strength. She wore a gown made with flowers, while she was sitting on a small sofa facing the young boy, with a pure smile on her face.
"So tell me grandma, are you saying that such a kingdom still exists right now?" The young boy asked with such curiosity, as he stared at his grandmother.
He had so much focus on her as if he was expecting to hear something very interesting.
His grandmother took a deep breath as she moved back a little while inhaling and afterwards exhaled.
"I am not so sure. However, all I can tell you now is that such things are possible. Not everyone might believe it, but it is true."
As soon as the boy heard these words from his grandmother, his expression switched from being curious to a distant expression.
He bent his head and stared straight at the burning candle, with his hand on his chin as he began to think.
Meanwhile, his grandmother saw this and had a little smile on her face.
"You don't have to give it much though." She proclaimed. "However you can consider it a bit if you want to."
After she said this, the boy raised his head and asked. "By the way grandma, how do you know about all these? I have never actually heard of such a story before. I mean it is not in any mythology that I know of…"
"You see Elon, there are certain things that history itself isn't able to record. These are the ones in which history itself doesn't understand, and so it won't be recorded. Only those who do believe in it can pass down such information."
"No no no, you've got me all wrong," Elon proclaimed. "…it is not as if I don't believe, I do. It is such that I don't understand it. One moment you tell me about the crimson dragon story, another you tell me about the seven days of only night. And now the story of the kingdom with the lost ruler?"
Elon was bewildered, he knew his grandmother won't tell him fake stories, but it still wasn't that easy to believe.
His grandmother saw his expression and displayed yet another smile on her face, before it turned into a sad expression.
"Come on, I think that is enough for today." She proclaimed as she instantly stood up from the sofa.
She stretched her back a little, indicating she had been sitting for so long.
"It's already past bed time Elon, go to bed we will continue from tomorrow.
"But wait grandma!"
Elon shouted, making his grandmother halt and turned to him.
"What is it?"
"Just a quick question, what will happen to the kingdom now that it has lost its ruler? I mean can't they just appoint someone else to rule. Who would be ruling them now, with such vacancy?"
Grandma gave a distant expression that didn't mean anything of sorts, but could only mean one thing.
"It doesn't work that way my boy. Things would have been a lot easier for us if it was like that."
As soon as she said these words, she left the living room and entered her own room.
'For us…?' Elon thought. "What does she mean by 'for us?' Wasn't she just talking about the story now?"
Elon didn't understand what his grandmother had just spoken.
Although how could he?
When an elderly person such as grandmother Agatha speaks, it sounds as if they are speaking in riddles.
"Hmph!… Old people and their words of riddles."
