Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Scene 98 - The Revival of Majin Buu

What appeared on the screen was a massive egg, with several small openings on its surface, that intermittently released bursts of air.

"Majin Buu is awakening!"

Babidi, the dark-yellow-skinned sorcerer, shouted with feverish excitement, his face twisted in anticipation.

Gohan stared, wide-eyed in shock.

Shin, the Supreme Kai, paled with terror. "We have no choice. When I signal, we flee."

Gohan clenched his fists. "No! We have to stop this before it hatches. There has to be a way… You're the Supreme Kai—you must have something!"

Shin's voice rose in urgency. "Yes! And unlike you, I've seen what Buu can do! He's far beyond anything we can handle. This isn't the time for blind heroics, Gohan! We must retreat and wait for a better opportunity. Survival is our only chance."

But Gohan shook his head, his jaw tightening. "I'm sorry. I can't give in. I have to try."

Shin reached out, desperation in his eyes. "Gohan, please! We need you alive!"

Gohan's gaze hardened. "And there are people I need to protect. This time, I won't just stand by."

A fierce roar erupted from him.

"AHHHH!"

A golden light exploded from his body, surging into the sky as his energy intensified. In a brilliant flash, he transformed into a Super Saiyan 2.

Babidi flinched at the spectacle. "Uh, Dabura… what's all this about?"

Dabura narrowed his eyes. "I'm not sure."

Gohan wasted no time. He thrust his hands to his side, gathering swirling Ki. A brilliant blue sphere formed between his palms, crackling with immense power.

"Kame… hame… HAA!!!"

The energy beam roared forth, its light illuminating the battlefield as the very ground trembled beneath its force.

Shin could only watch in awe. "Gohan…"

The attack struck the egg like a falling meteor.

BOOM!

The colossal egg was launched skyward before crashing down with a deafening impact.

As the dust settled, all eyes turned toward the shattered shell.

It was empty.

Silence fell over the battlefield.

Babidi stared in disbelief. "No… No! This can't be possible!"

Shin threw his head back and laughed. "Hahaha! How fortunate!" A wide smile spread across his face as he turned to Babidi. "What a pity, little wizard. Majin Buu has been erased by Gohan's attack. Even if he had been revived, he would never have reached his former strength. No matter how much energy you gathered, it was all for nothing. Your evil plans have failed."

But Gohan didn't celebrate. His instincts screamed at him—something was wrong. His eyes scanned the surroundings, his body tense.

Babidi trembled with rage and confusion. "Impossible… Majin Buu was created by my father! He can't just disappear!"

Dabura, standing at his side, smirked and spoke in a low voice, "Lord Babidi, there's no need to panic. As long as I am here, no one will lay a hand on you. And don't forget—we still have Vegeta. He may be rebellious, but his power is undeniable."

Babidi's expression darkened. His voice was laced with venom. "Enough! Dabura, kill that loathsome Kai at once!"

Dabura nodded, stepping forward. He entered a battle stance, his aura flaring. "As you command, Master."

---

Shin remained unfazed. "Gohan, I will handle Babidi. As for Dabura, I'll need your help. Once we take them down, this wizard will no longer be a threat to the universe. Now's the time to get angry—just like your father always says. Tap into your rage and show these villains your true power."

But Gohan didn't move. He stood frozen, his wide eyes filled with unease. His voice quivered. "No… wait. I sense something strange."

His gaze snapped upward. "This is…"

Above them, a thick cloud of pink smoke began to swirl, slowly gathering in the sky.

Gohan's breath hitched. "That smoke… it came from the egg!"

Everyone turned their eyes to the ominous mist.

The pink smoke twisted and condensed, taking shape.

"BOO!!!"

A voice echoed through the battlefield before a figure dropped to the ground.

It was a rotund creature with pink skin, draped in a flowing cloak, and topped with a thin, curved antenna.

Dabura furrowed his brow. "Lord Babidi… is that really Majin Buu?"

Babidi hesitated. "I—I'm not sure. The only one who's truly seen Majin Buu is the Supreme Kai."

Ignoring his own uncertainty, Babidi rushed forward. "Hey! Majin Buu!"

Shin's face paled with dread. "That's him… We're doomed."

Gohan frowned. "Really? He has a massive Ki, but we're not powerless."

Majin Buu sauntered forward, unfazed by the chaos around him.

Babidi called out again, louder this time. "Hey! Majin Buu! I'm Babidi, the son of the one who created you! That means I'm your master now!"

Majin Buu barely spared him a glance before turning away with an exaggerated, childish sneer.

Babidi's stomach dropped. He stumbled back, his confidence faltering.

Dabura scowled. "The resurrection must have failed. He's just an oversized fool with no real power."

Majin Buu's head tilted slightly.

Dabura smirked. "What? Got a problem with what I said, idiot?"

Majin Buu made a mocking gesture.

Dabura let out a short laugh. "Exactly what I thought. He's nothing but a simple-minded buffoon, and yet he dares to stand before me."

Suddenly—

The small openings atop Majin Buu's head hissed, releasing bursts of steam.

His expression darkened.

In an instant, he lunged.

His fist connected squarely with Dabura's eyes.

Dabura cried out in pain, staggering back, but he quickly retaliated. His strikes came fast and fierce—yet not a single one landed.

Majin Buu evaded effortlessly. Then, with a swift kick, he sent Dabura hurtling through the air, crashing into a distant mountain with a thunderous impact.

Babidi's jaw dropped before he burst into ecstatic laughter. "Magnificent! Majin Buu, you took down Dabura with no effort at all!"

But Majin Buu didn't acknowledge him.

Babidi swallowed hard. Then his face twisted with fury. "Listen up, Buu! I know the spell to seal you away again! If you don't want that to happen, you'll obey me!"

Majin Buu froze.

For a long moment, he stood motionless.

Then—

Without hesitation, he bowed.

Babidi's lips curled into a triumphant grin. "That's more like it."

Majin Buu let out a chuckle, his eyes gleaming with unsettling mischief.

---

Gohan turned to Shin. "Lord Shin, Majin Buu acts like a child. If we take out Babidi, he might not even attack us."

Shin shook his head. "No. If Babidi dies, there will be no one left to seal Majin Buu away. Don't let his appearance fool you—he's a malevolent demon."

Babidi smirked and pointed at Gohan. "Majin Buu, your first command—eliminate them."

Before Buu could act, Gohan powered up in an instant, grabbing Shin and taking off into the sky.

His speed was extraordinary. Within moments, they had turned and vanished.

As they soared through the air, Gohan glanced back. "Don't worry, Lord Shin! I'm confident in my speed—"

Before he could finish, a sudden whoosh cut through the air.

Majin Buu tapped his foot and shot forward like a streak of purple light, appearing directly in front of them.

Gohan's eyes widened. Impossible—

Before he could react, Buu's punch connected.

The impact sent Gohan crashing into the mountains below.

"Gohan!" Shin cried out, his aura flaring. A fierce burst of energy surged outward, forcing Buu back a few steps.

But Buu remained unharmed. Slowly, he rose into the air, completely unscathed.

Then, in an instant, he struck.

Shin was sent hurtling to the ground.

Yet he wasn't finished. Reappearing before Buu, Shin thrust out his arms, unleashing a wave of brilliant purple energy.

The blast tore through Buu's torso, leaving a gaping hole.

But the damage lasted mere seconds.

Buu's body reformed effortlessly.

With a wicked grin, he lunged forward, slamming his head into Shin's chest. The Supreme Kai crashed into the ground below.

Gohan, buried under rubble, coughed and forced himself to his feet. "Hang on… I'll get you out of there."

He took a step—then stumbled, collapsing again.

Shin weakly pushed himself up, his vision spinning. But before he could react, Majin Buu landed beside him, towering over him.

Shin's eyes flashed, and the entire area was engulfed in radiant white light.

For a brief moment, Buu leaned back.

Then he grinned.

What followed was a merciless beating. Shin could do nothing but endure as Buu toyed with him. Blow after blow landed until he collapsed, barely able to move.

Then, with a playful hop, Buu leaped into the air—

And came crashing down onto Shin's body.

A sickening crack filled the air as blood spurted from the Supreme Kai's mouth.

Babidi cackled. "Hahaha! I never imagined the mighty Supreme Kai would one day grovel at my feet! Buu, allow me to finish him off."

Before he could act, a blur shot in from the side.

Boom!

Gohan's foot smashed into Majin Buu's face, sending the creature skidding across the ground.

Babidi's laughter cut off.

Majin Buu picked himself up, unfazed. With a flick of his wrist, he gathered a pulsating orb of energy in his palm.

Gohan's golden aura flared, his body surging with power.

Buu unleashed the blast.

Gohan met it head-on with his fist.

For a moment, the two forces clashed, locked in a stalemate. The very air trembled.

Then—

The energy detonated.

A violent shockwave tore through the battlefield, sending Gohan flying.

He was hurled into the distance, crashing deep into the forest. His body lay motionless among the shattered trees.
