After the brutal arrival of Kaiju, the entire world had fallen into an apocalypse. At the brink of extinction, a lucky few people obtained this mysterious and yet powerful source of energy known as qi.

However, only a few of them were truly strong and able to fight back against these Kaiju, saving humanity. These were known as the Exalted. The rest were simply Wasted—Adam being one of them. 

Living his life constantly on the brink of death, Adam does everything in his power to keep his sister alive. 

Yet it was these strong heroes, these people that society claimed were humanity's greatest defenders,  that killed her.

Dying soon after, Adam finds himself strangely waking up in his bed a month before the first dimensional collapse. Additionally, he had somehow obtained a new system, with his first task being...
