I watched as Kieran was thrown a distance from where I was standing. What was that just now?
"What the hell are you Selene?" he asked as he was dusting dirt from his suit.
"I am confused as well thus why I need to leave this palace and go in search of my answers. Who knows maybe am dangerous to be around. It is better to be on my own than injure a lot of people" I said.
"Selene you are my mate and I don't think I can let you go like that.Do you even know for how long I hae been searching for you.Let us go back in the palace and we will figure out whatever you are together" he offered and his voice was calm .
I guess I needed to trust him as well because who knew what was awaiting me out there? At least with him beside me, I will be guaranteed protection.
"Selene can you pull your sleeve a little bit" he said and I obediently did.
Under the sleeve my hand was covered in blue carving of the different phases of the moon.What was happening to me.I looked at him with confusion and he seemed concentrated on what he was seeing .
"I have seen a scroll on these symbols .Lets go back and see what information we can get" he said avoiding contacting with me again.
"Can I ask you one thing before we go?" I said and he stopped in his tracks.
''Yes shoot" he said.
"Who was that woman who was in your office when I came earlier" I asked and I saw him furrow his brow.
"She is no one Selene.I know she was seducing me but ever since I found out that you were my mate, I decided to not cheat on you" he said.
"Which means you have already fooled around before with other women and even with her. Now when was the last time you and her did it?" I just found myself continuing to ask these questions.
"Is that information even relevant Selene" he retorted back.
"Are you going to answer me or not" I raised my voice and watched as the wind around me started to increase in speed.
"Yesterday before I attended the ceremony," he said in a low voice which sounded more like a whisper.
After he said I lead the way back to the palace .He walked beside me and I saw as his eyes changed to gold.
I guess now his wolf was in control. I preferred the wolf better than the host.
"What is your name?"I asked and I saw that he was surprised when I talked to him.
"Are you talking to me mate?" he stupidly answered.
"Yes, I want to know your name so that I can talk to you more often than Kieran" I decided to make Kieran get jealous of his wolf.
"Alouis my lady" I laughed at his address me.
"Alouis right. I like you" I said and I watched as he grinned stupidly.
I guess Kieran is embarrassed by the way his wolf is behaving.
We walked and talked as we went back to the palace.After we were about to reach thepalace gates , I guess Kieran then took back control and filled with themebarrasement he walked quickly infront of me.
We entered the palace and he invited me to the Royal archives where we had to find scrolls.
"Found it, " he said and brought it to a table.
The moment the scroll was placed besides me and the faint marks on my body started glowing again as well as the scroll.The scroll opened itself .Kieran and I then peeked to know what it said about my condition.
The scroll talked about a person blessed by the Moon goddess with the ability and connection with the moon. My powers are triggered greatly by my emotions and the different phases of the moon. But it did not mention anything about my wolf.
Kieran saw my disappointment and he looked at me.
"What is wrong Selene?" he asked after seeing me not be happy about the whole informtaion about myself I had seen.
"it does not explain much about my wolf.I now I am a werewolf but I havent transformed into my form for a while.I wanted to know if this so called gift is the reason why I cant troansform into my form"I epressed my worries to him.
"Why are you most concerned about your wolf?" I saw that he was getting confused.
"I have heightened senses than the ordinary werewolf. I heal more quickly than the other werewolve.Besically I am stronger than an ordinary werewolve , that I can feel but from the informtation I have gathered information on wolfless werewolves.What I have found was that they cant perfomr any of this abilities without a wolf.Something tells me ,that there is more to this than what meet the eye" I said and I watched as he calculated the logic of what I had told him.
"You are right about this. How about we first go and have lunch then we will continue where we left off.I think we might find answers in this archives or in the library" he said after he had heard my stomach grumble from hunger.
I was embarrassed what a way to be betrayed by your stomach.
We went to the dinig table and the chef served us our meal.Just as we were starting to have our meal the King's council of Advisors came and joined us on the table.
"Good day Alpha, " they all said in unison and Kieran lightly nodded in acknowledgement.
"What brings you here today Desire" he said to the person who seemed to be the leader of the council as he woe a purple robe whilst the others weared green robes.
"We heard that the Alpha found his mate in Moonrose pack so we had come to see and evaluate if she is fit to be the Luna of the kingdom" the expliclty stated their reason of visit as the maids served them with their food.
"Well her name is Selene and she will not be evaluated by anyone because if the Moongoddess said she was my mate , no one has the right to deem her unfit" he said whilst concerntrating on his meal.
"Well from the information we have received from the people from her previous pack I think we need to evaluate her according to the laws my King" the leader continued to say and I watched as he looked at me with hatred and anger in his voice.
"So if you say that she is not fit for the post of the Luna. Tell me who is?" Kieran asked with his emotions getting agitated.
"Well Alpha we have found out that Lady Elisa has been by your side for some time and she is the perfect person who actually understand what is at stake.Even if you don't mate with her at least the kingdom will have a powerful Luna.You can however mate with Lady Selene here but she will have to be your concubine" another of thecouncil said and I could not help myself than laugh.
"Am sorry" I said and I watched as they all looked at me with disapproving gazes.
"She has no posture of nobility and we even heard that she is originally not from Moonrose pack.The late Alpha and Luna is said to have picked her up from the roadside when they were coming form the inspection of the Elemental city" the elder named Desire said and from the tone of his voice I could feel that he was looking down on me.
"Whether you or anyone agrees or not she is my mate and I will only mate with her. I will make her my mate and my Luna" he firmly said.
"Then Alpha you will face several oposition from the pack members for they also are aganst the idea of making this womman as your mate" one of the council said .
"I will wait and see if they will directly oppose my decisions.Now all of you may leave" he commanded in his Lycan voice and I watched as the leaders were forced out of their seats.
I guess his command was too strong that even the maids in the kingdom had pained expressionn on their face.
"What is making you worked up this early in the morning" I heard a voice say and the woman from yesterday come into the room.
She acted as if she were the hostess and the lady of the house. I swear one day I will use the power I just realized I possess to kill this bitch. She even dared to come and hold his hand in front of me.
"What are you doing here?" Kieran asked with irritation in his tone.
"I came to see you Kieran is that the way you are going to treat your future Luna" she said and something told me that she was the one the elders ordering Kieran break the mate bond with me.
"I will only say this once Elisa.All these fantasies your are building of you becoming the Luna of this kingdom will not come to pass.Either you go back and ask for your mate to take you back because I will not leave my mate for you.Now leave" he said this time with an even more stronger aura.
Elisa wanted to fight back and resist and I watched as she started bleeding through her nose. She then decided to give in and left the table in a rage.
The moment she stood up I started to feel light and I heard inside my head saying "You are not just a werewolf….
