Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The First Mission

"It seems that we will have the opportunity to obtain seven kinds of God's Eyes in the future."

Keqing's expression was somewhat complicated. She had been dissatisfied with the God's Eye before, refusing to attribute her success to it. Even without it, she was among Liyue's top swordsmen. However, after obtaining and adapting to its power, she had to admit it was indeed formidable.

"The power of multiple God's Eyes will place a significant burden on you. Two or three may be manageable, but beyond that, you will need a stronger body," Zhongli warned gently. He didn't want Keqing to go astray.

Keqing took his words seriously. A stronger body? It seemed she couldn't afford to reduce her daily training. Very well, she would cut her sleep by half an hour and train more instead.

"If there are no surprises, we need to complete those so-called missions to earn points. I wonder when these missions will be available?" Ningguang's sharp eyes were locked onto Smith.

As a shrewd businesswoman, she sensed an opportunity. The God's Eye itself did not interest her much, but she was intrigued by what else could be obtained in the future.

"The missions aren't something I can control," Smith shook his head slightly. "This guild has just been established."

However, he turned to Zhongli. "Would you consider uploading some immortal cultivation techniques? Through points, people could quickly attain immortality, strengthening themselves and shaping new immortals. You would also earn points in return."

"Immortality can be achieved directly?" Ganyu was shocked.

She had spent thousands of years cultivating her power. If this system allowed one to achieve the same status quickly, did that mean her efforts had been in vain?

"Earning points is no easy task. Becoming an immortal shouldn't be either," Smith said indifferently.

Zhongli hesitated. He wanted to say that immortals required fate, but considering Smith's stance, he assumed Smith would simply counter that entering the guild itself indicated their fate.

While Zhongli deliberated, Smith browsed the guild mall. Unlike the others, his store offered not just three types of God's Eyes but also:

Godhead of the Rock God, Thunder God, Ice God (Teyvat Continent Edition): 50,000 points

It was clear that when others placed God's Eyes on the shelf, his store listed even higher-tier items.

What puzzled him was why Godhead appeared instead of God's Heart. This suggested the Godhead was more significant than the Heart of God.

Then again, considering the truth about the Hydro Archon Focalors and the Heart of God, it made sense. The Godhead represented the divine authority of the Seven Archons, ancient dragons, and Teyvat itself. The Heart of God, on the other hand, was crafted from the Third Descender's remains.

Unfortunately, ordinary guild members couldn't purchase such high-tier items. Otherwise, Vilet obtaining the Water God's Godhead would have made him a true dragon.

This was another reason Smith wanted Zhongli to upload the immortal cultivation techniques—to see if even greater techniques would appear in the guild mall.

Ding! A dimensional commission has been found: From the Naruto world—help Konoha seal the Nine-Tails.

Reward: 20,000 dimensional points

No limit on participants

Points distributed based on contribution

Minimum guaranteed points: 5% of total reward

"A mission has appeared!" Keqing exclaimed. They had been worrying about earning points, and now an opportunity had arrived. She couldn't contain her excitement.

Ningguang crossed her arms, analyzing the situation. "Twenty thousand points—if the minimum payout is 1,000 points, that's enough for two God's Eyes. That means this mission must be quite difficult."

Smith looked at her approvingly. "Although I don't always agree with your business methods, you have keen instincts, Miss Ningguang. I can't be sure how powerful the Nine-Tails is, but in its world, it is among the strongest creatures."

He turned to Zhongli. "Looks like you'll need to personally intervene in our first mission."

Smith couldn't fully gauge the Nine-Tails' strength, given the differences between worlds. However, he was confident that Morax was more powerful. Whether Morax was stronger than Kaguya Otsutsuki, he wasn't certain.

By the way, if Ganyu transformed into her qilin form, she might rival the Nine-Tails in size. Whether she could defeat it was another matter entirely.

Zhongli nodded slightly. "No problem. I am interested in exploring other worlds. Let's all participate—consider it a team-building exercise."

"Are we about to see the Rock King Emperor in action?" Ganyu and Keqing were thrilled. Morax hadn't fought in a long time. There were few in Teyvat worthy of his strength.

Konoha Village

"Ahh! Look! What is that?!"

"It's the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox! How did it escape?!"

The once peaceful Konoha Village had descended into chaos. A colossal orange-red fox, dozens of meters tall, rampaged through the village, leaving destruction in its wake.

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, led the ninja forces in a desperate battle against the beast. However, no matter how much they attacked, their efforts barely affected it.

"Damn it! Has Minato not finished his battle yet?" Sarutobi gasped, watching the rising casualties and devastation.

Age had weakened him, and even in his prime, he wouldn't have been able to defeat the Nine-Tails alone. Now, he could only pray that the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, would arrive soon.

Until then, the village's survival was at stake.
