Elias blinked awake to pale sunlight filtering through dark clouds . His sister, Lira, lay curled on his lap, her breathing steady. He patted her head gently, careful not to wake her, before slipping out of the sofa . He started to head towards the Auto shop—three months of grueling work, seven hours a day, no breaks then finally payday had arrived.
Lira stirred, finding herself alone. Her decade-old phone buzzed—a message from Elias: "Meet me at the zebra crossing near the auto shop -E." She replied "k," grabbed a stale pastry from the bakery, and hurried out. Her friend Mira called her mid-stride.
"Where'll you live now? " Mira asked.
"Dunno. Bro found a new apartment two days ago," Lira mumbled, dodging sidewalk cracks. "Gotta go—almost there,see you tomorrow at school." Mira replied"okay

Elias waited outside the auto shop, a crumpled check in hand. When Lira arrived, he grinned, thrusting it toward her. "$10,800! They gave me a bonus—said they 'understood my situation!' " The siblings fist-bumped, Elias lifting the check triumphantly. " finally everything is gonna be okay now!"
Then suddenly—the sun lurched *eastward*. The moon hurtled up from the west. Time stuttered. People froze mid-step. Lira trembled, clutching Elias as the world unraveled—buildings warping like melting plastic, streets fracturing into pixels. Three seconds stretched into eternity.
When the chaos stilled, they stood in an endless field, grass rippling under twin moons. Elias stared blankly into the sky. He was confused "what?"
"What the FUCk?!" His shout echoed into alien silence.
He was panicking, everything was gone despair fill his eyes ,his heart skips a beat,
The check fluttered to the ground and Lira collapsed.
He fell to his knees screaming non sense and slamed his fists on the ground like a maniac.
He stopped after crashing out for 2-3 mins. He then looked up to see 2 moons in the sky at dusk .
He then realised that he had just lost everything ,he suddenly remembered something.
"Lira?! "He quickly dropped to his knees, shaking her. No response. Tears blurred his vision. "Why *now*?!" he snarled, punching the dirt. "Everything—gone—"
A tear hit Lira's cheek. She jolted awake, eyes wide. she started scanning the horizon. "where are we?"
Elias replied "anywhere but earth"
Lira responds "hmmm.."
"And who are you ? "
Elias froze. "What?"
Elias continued with a horrified look ,his voice trembling, wishing this to be a joke "y-you don't remember me ? "
She tilted her head, confusion sharpening her voice. "And… who are you again?"
His eyes widen with shock ,his face showed terror.
