"Wake up... Wake up... Wake up... Wake up... Wake up... Wake u... Wake... wa... (Siren Sounds!)"
With that, the screen turned off!
Standing on his feet, his spine straight as always, his black haloes glowed... but his eyes themselves were widened! His body was shaking, his legs were trembling that he was about to fall on his knees.
Silent was frozen, staring at the dead screen of a mobile-like small TV screen without saying a word. Shocking was just an understatement for his condition right now.
"W... Wh... what the hell... was that?!!"
Like a giant wall, preventing Silent's words from passing the ridge of his mouth. His state of shock was so much worse than all of those people who, in fact, left a moment ago. Silent felt a shiver run down his spine, staring at the screen with a paled face and shocked expressions.
To make it worse, he... was the only one who saw that part of the trailer, in fact, only the mobile-like screen that played this part. The other screens kept repeating the trailer but didn't conclude the part that Silent saw with his naked eyes.
It didn't take long until Shema was rushing inside the game store... irritated. Silent realized Shiro coming towards him.
"What happened with him, Shiro?"
"Nothing... I forgot to tell him that I will purchase the VR set today so he crashed out and took that sprint you just saw."
Shiro didn't feel anything wrong with Silent, this was Silent's plan once he was able to break that state of frozen stare. If he was the only one who saw that part, then…
'Let it be.' he thought, his face returned as it always was... cold and nonchalant.
"Wait! How did Shema know if you forgot?" this question seemed stupid but it was actually logical. Shiro, with one simple move, told Silent the answer he wanted. He just lifted his right arm which he grabbed two bags with, one was relatively big and contained a box, and the other was small, really small, and contained a chip bigger than its average size.
"oh, so that's how it is. I didn't even realize you were holding something."
"even Shema didn't see them, and me... I just forgot."
Shiro rotated his head towards the game store and glanced right after Silent.
"Silent, I'm going inside. If you can't stand it right then, don't come with me."
Shiro then, entered the game store, leaving Silent behind his back.
"Yes, finally alone... what the hell was that for real?" turns out that it was Silent's plan all along, he even wished for this to happen to power up his overthinking and solve this riddle as much as he could.
"Shifting dimensions of fantasy and reality, this game emerges in between. What the hell does that mean? It doesn't make any sense!"
Whispering in a very low voice, he tried to think about that specific part of the trailer, but, he still couldn't grasp what did it mean.
"Fighting, thriving to live, killing, murderers, emperors are born within. What is happening here? Huh?! Wait!" he pulled out a deep-thinking expression as he finally could come up with only one piece of the riddle.
"All of those are connected! Fighting and clashes between two or more people with unimaginable force, resulting in others thriving to live amidst the chaos. Killing starts to occur between those people turning them into murderers.
With that, the most strongest of them all will become the emperors. Yes! That's the first string but, what does he mean by shifting dimensions of fantasy and reality? I think, That's for another time."
"Sighs! I'm coming, bastards." his mouth curled upwards, every single second his smile grew wider, his eyes blacked out and with the help of his glowing black haloes under his eyes, Silent was such a menace.
Glancing at the game store In front of him, his feet took a large step. Hinting at his state of an impulsive sprint toward the game store that was right in front of him, yet he kind of sprinted, out of his vanished flame that resembles his interest had finally started to light up again.
It didn't take him long till he pushed the Game Store's door open. Shifting his gaze to the left once again, he saw his friends talking with the owner of the store… Well, it was Shema only who was talking while Shiro just stood behind him.
Shiro instantaneously realized the sudden push of the door and stared at Silent who just entered.
"Ohh! Silent, I thought you didn't have any interest? Was that all a play on us!!"
"No, Finally my interest has lighted up a bit."
Shiro stood in silence, drew a calm smile on his face, and said in a relatively funny tone with a smirk.
"The return of our assassin, I think!" Silent smiled a big one once more but wasn't close to that of a grin.
"So, the game isn't available here?"
"No, tomorrow will be available. You can find it at the (Silent Killers) Store, we are so sorry we can't help you more than that."
"No, no, it's ok… totally fine. Thank you so much."
"You're welcome anytime."
Shema frowned a bit; he wanted so badly to get his hand on it as soon as possible. Silent saw Shema in that state and couldn't help but to say.
"It's ok, Shema. Go to the other store."
Shema looked at silent in the eye and stared at him for a short margin of time and then said with a cold tone.
"I will tell you why soon." with that, Shema took his first steps and exited the game store while Silent and Shiro were still in their place. They both stared at each other, sighed, and shrugged. Shortly after that, they were outside the game store, Silent asked immediately.
"So, what is the reason for your long face?"
"It is simple... the release date is tomorrow at 6 Am and, to my unfortunate badass luck… the (Silent Killers) is 2 hours walking from here!"
