The forest snowfield echoed with the fast and continuous sound of strikes.
Two small figures, both dressed in snowman suits, moved swiftly across the thick snow, their feet not sinking but maintaining balance on top. The girl, with black hair and white eyes, used her gloved hands to launch blue chakra-infused strikes toward the boy in front of her. Each strike cut through the air with a distinct sound.
The boy, with black hair and blue eyes, seemed to predict the girl's every move, skillfully intercepting her attacks just before her fingers could land on his snowman suit. He would deflect her strikes by hitting her wrist with the back of his hand, causing her to lose momentum, and then counterattack with palm strikes, punches, or kicks, knocking her into the snow.
Each time the girl was struck, she grunted in pain, her small face showing discomfort and suffering. Yet, every time she was knocked down into the snow, she quickly rose and charged back into the fray. Despite her body being bruised and her internal injuries causing blood to trickle from her mouth, she never stopped attacking.
These two children were none other than Kenjiro and Hinata.
"Alright, let's call it a day," Kenjiro finally said after what seemed like an endless amount of time.
Upon hearing this, Hinata collapsed into the snow, gasping for breath. Sweat covered her face, and the torn snowman suit revealed the clothes underneath, stained with blood.
Kenjiro, similarly, had a torn snowman suit, but his clothes were also intact underneath.
The snowman suits were not just for decoration; they were a practical tool to help Hinata practice 'attacking from a distance,' improving her ability to inject chakra into someone's body, as well as enhancing the power of her chakra. When she could inflict damage through the snowman suit, it was a sign of her extraordinary finger strength and chakra control.
To ensure she made progress, Kenjiro would sometimes leave openings in his defense, letting Hinata land a hit. After all, just taking hits wouldn't necessarily build a strong image—Hinata needed to feel successful in order to boost her confidence.
After removing her snowman suit, Kenjiro squatted down in front of Hinata and performed basic medical ninjutsu to treat her injuries.
He wasn't sure if his basic skills could heal her hidden injuries, as he couldn't discern whether she had any internal damage. However, he was certain that Hiashi Hyuga, Hinata's father, must have known about their training sessions. He trusted that Hinata would undergo a full check-up through other means. The Hyuga clan had excellent medical ninjas, and if Hinata had any hidden injuries, they would be detected and treated.
Even if Hiashi didn't know, it didn't matter. At a young age, hidden injuries weren't as concerning.
Kenjiro had his own reasons for not worrying. Once he awakened the Tenseigan, he would gain access to Yin and Yang Release, allowing him to heal Hinata in a way beyond even medical ninjutsu.
Once Hinata's injuries were treated, Kenjiro grinned. "Let's go ice fishing. We'll have grilled fish for dinner."
Hinata's eyes sparkled, and she nodded eagerly. "Mm!"
Kenjiro's knowledge of the Naruto world came from the TV anime. He hadn't read the manga or played any of the games, and his understanding was mainly through short video clips. He wasn't sure if Hinata's 'big eater' trait appeared in the manga, but he remembered a scene from the anime where Hinata defeated everyone in a ramen-eating contest. This made her "big eater" attribute famous on various forums, with many fans considering it a waste of her potential.
However, such a trait, like many life-related talents, didn't show up in the system's skill list.
Kenjiro didn't know if Hinata had this ability, but one day he decided to take her fishing to see how much she could eat. To his delight, he realized that Hinata could easily consume two or three times more than he could.
This discovery filled Kenjiro with joy. A big appetite meant strong digestive capabilities, meaning she could absorb more nutrients, increasing her physical and mental energy. This would eventually allow her chakra reserves to exceed those of her peers.
With a greater chakra pool, Hinata's chances of unlocking a red-tier talent would also increase. Knowing this, Kenjiro made sure to take Hinata fishing or hunting after every training session, ensuring she had her fill.
At first, Hinata had hesitated, trying to maintain a ladylike image in front of him. However, over time, she realized that Kenjiro was always bringing plenty of food, clearly aware of her secret and concerned that she wouldn't eat enough. So, she began to stop holding back and ate freely.
Hinata also began looking forward to training with Kenjiro more, as her big appetite was a secret even her family didn't know. She hadn't noticed that her family had stopped their usual practice of serving separate meals, and there was always more food available now. She assumed it was because of her younger sister.
Kenjiro had no idea what was happening at home, or he would have smiled knowingly.
Hinata's fate had undoubtedly changed in this life. With Kenjiro's help, and Hiashi Hyuga's silent support, her strength and personality were heading in a completely different direction from the original storyline. Once her foundation was solid, combined with Kenjiro's chakra, she might even awaken the Byakugan's ultimate form—the Tenseigan.
When that day came, Hinata would truly be the princess of Byakugan!

For students, time always seemed to move slower during school and faster during breaks, a universal truth.
As the winter break ended, time marched into the 55th year of the Hidden Leaf.
The third semester of the first-year's began, and the sixth years were preparing for graduation.
After two semesters of training, the new students had undergone their transformations. Those who remained in the school had already gained chakra and adapted to the intensity of both cultural and practical lessons.
In the third semester, the ninja academy officially introduced the students to the transformation techniques, Body Flicker Technique, and the Stealth Technique, while survival exercises were added to the practical classes.
These survival exercises focused on developing students' intelligence, as well as their ability to use the transformation techniques, Body Flicker, and Stealth techniques.
Aside from the transformation techniques, the other basics were quite simple.
When Naruto Uzumaki first appeared in the series, he couldn't even use the Shadow Clone Jutsu properly, but he was able to use Body Flicker and Stealth techniques to outwit Chuunin wearing green vests.
However, none of these techniques posed a challenge to Kenjiro.
Looking around the practical class, he saw that there were still only Taijutsu battles, but no Kunai and Shuriken battles, nor any full-fledged combat with no rules. Aside from the afternoon Taijutsu battles, Kenjiro still didn't need to attend the academy in person.
