Chapter 20 - Future SS-Rank Ninjutsu

While Kenjiro and Hinata were out shopping with Hanabi…

Near the Uchiha clan's district, beneath the massive waterfall of the Naka River…

If a member of the Hyuga clan were present and activated the Byakugan, they would notice a hidden cave at the base of the waterfall.

Inside the cave, loud noises echoed, though they were drowned out by the roaring water above. If one touched the rock walls surrounding the waterfall, they could even feel the occasional tremors.

A brilliant blue light cut through the darkness of the cave.

A blue-white energy sphere, resembling a water-filled balloon, rapidly expanded in size. Within moments, this basketball-sized energy ball shot into the darkness.

BOOM—

A deafening explosion erupted, sending shockwaves through the cave, scattering dust and gravel in all directions. However, the dust cloud never reached the outside—it was quickly dispersed by a gust of wind.

Once the cave settled again, another energy ball formed and was hurled deeper into the darkness, triggering yet another violent explosion.

The cave itself had been carved out by these repeated energy sphere bombardments.

"The core is complete. Now I can start forming the smaller spheres inside it."

Kenjiro's shadow clone stood at the cave entrance where light barely reached, assessing the progress for the day.

He had already mastered the foundation of the Super Hurricane Sphere, an original jutsu from the anime's filler episodes. It was essentially a Rasengan expanded to just below the size of the Giant Rasengan.

It had taken him two full years to reach this point.

Kenjiro finally understood why Naruto, after training for three years, still needed shadow clones to assist him in creating the Giant Rasengan.

Naruto couldn't even form a one-handed Rasengan, let alone expand it to such a massive size while maintaining balance and preventing the chakra from dispersing prematurely.

Even for Kenjiro, it had taken two entire years to reach this level of chakra control.

Simply gathering enough chakra to form such a massive sphere wasn't the hard part.

The real challenge was maintaining ultra-high-speed rotation while keeping the energy stable.

It was hellishly difficult.

After all, the Rasengan itself was already an A-rank jutsu in terms of shape transformation difficulty. The Giant Rasengan? That was somewhere between A-rank and S-rank.

It was no wonder that S-rank jutsu were considered impossible to master even with overwhelming talent and effort. They were ultimate techniques that very few could achieve.

Just forming a single large energy sphere was already this challenging.

If he wanted to take it a step further and create five smaller spheres within it, the difficulty would be on par with Naruto perfecting the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

And if he infused those five smaller spheres with five different elemental transformations at the same time? Just the thought of it made his head hurt.

If he succeeded, the power level aside, the sheer learning difficulty would undoubtedly exceed S-rank, making it an SS-rank jutsu.

Even Asura Otsutsuki had never achieved this level of mastery.

But for Kenjiro, this was his goal.

His current potential far surpassed Asura Otsutsuki, who had relied on power granted by Hagoromo.

If his Chakra Control talent at purple-grade wasn't enough, then he would simply upgrade it to gold-grade.

If he could successfully develop the Super Hurricane Sphere, he would have a trump card just like Naruto—a single move that could dominate almost any battle.

No matter the opponent, he could always rely on his "big ball" to end the fight.

Sitting cross-legged in front of the waterfall, Kenjiro's shadow clone once again concentrated chakra between his hands, forming a basketball-sized energy sphere—but this time, he didn't throw it.

He continued training until his chakra was fully depleted, at which point the shadow clone vanished into a puff of white smoke.

The accumulated fatigue and experience instantly transferred back to his original body.

At that moment, Kenjiro—who was casually feeding Hanabi some dango—merely raised an eyebrow before returning to normal.

Even Hinata, who had been secretly watching him the whole time, failed to notice any change.

Ever since mastering the Rasengan and beginning his development of the Super Hurricane Sphere, Kenjiro had rarely trained with his real body.

He would leave that to his shadow clones in the secluded cave, while his original body either trained with Hinata in abandoned training fields or spent time with her in public areas.

Kenjiro was certain that Hiruzen Sarutobi was spying on him with the Telescope Jutsu.

For the past two years, Kenjiro sparred with Sasuke every one or two weeks.

He refused to believe that their No Rules fights hadn't caught Hiruzen's attention.

After all, before leaving Konoha, Itachi had first reported to Hiruzen before threatening Danzo.

If not for the risk of exposing his Byakugan, Kenjiro would have activated it to check for any Anbu surveillance around him.

Since he had been using shadow clones for training, he had already learned to precisely control their chakra usage, ensuring that the feedback fatigue was always within acceptable limits.

Once Hanabi finished her dango, Kenjiro took her around town, using Body Flicker to give her a ride, or running up trees and walking on water with her.

Even though Hanabi hadn't officially started training yet, she had already watched Hinata and Neji's battles and had seen Hinata train and spar with Kenjiro.

Just like in the original story, she admired her older sister and wanted to become strong and gentle like her.

Because of this, aside from being a bit of a foodie, Hanabi didn't enjoy playing with kids her age. She preferred Kenjiro taking her across rooftops and walls, experiencing the thrill of a "ninja roller coaster".

Once she reached the age where she could extract chakra and officially begin training, she would probably become even more clingy.

"Onii-chan, see you later!"

"Bye-bye."

After playing with Hanabi until sunset, Kenjiro waved goodbye to his adorable future sister-in-law with a smile.

Then, instead of heading home, he stopped by the market to buy some ingredients before using Body Flicker to teleport to the nearly empty Uchiha district, where only Sasuke remained.

"You're here."

Sasuke, who had been training in the courtyard, looked at Kenjiro with battle-hungry eyes.

"Let's eat first. We can fight afterward. You should rest a bit." Kenjiro said with a grin.

"Fine."

Sasuke didn't argue.

As night fell, the two sat together on the engawa, sharing a hot pot meal.

Then, once the village had quieted down, their small figures darted through the abandoned Uchiha district, disappearing into the forest.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Sounds of impact, heavy footsteps, and shuriken cutting through the air filled the dark forest.

BOOM—

A fiery explosion erupted before quickly being extinguished.

Thirty minutes later, the two figures emerged from the woods under the moonlight.

Kenjiro's clothes remained spotless, while Sasuke's were tattered and scorched.

His skin, still bearing shallow burn marks, spoke of a hard-fought battle.

Yet despite his exhaustion, Sasuke's eyes shone with determination.

"I win again."

Kenjiro smirked. "As per our deal, I get to check out your family's jutsu library."

"Go ahead. It's mostly just basic stuff anyway." Sasuke replied indifferently.
