At night,
Ashwant was sitting on his bed, thinking about something.
Avanya was sitting infront of dressing table and combing her hair. When she was done, she stood up and went towards her bed. She sat down on her bed and looked at her husband. But her husband was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even noticed her.
"Your highness...." She called in a sweet voice to get her husband's attention but it didn't worked.
"Husband....." She tried again. But again, it didn't worked. Ashwant was in deep thoughts.
Now Avanya can't take it anymore. Her husband never ignored her. Not after calling him husband. She sighed in frustration and spoke.
"Ashwant!" She said in a loud voice.
Ahil, who was passing in front of his parent's chamber, flinched on his place after hearing his mother yelling at his father.
"It would be better for me to leave from here as soon as possible. All the best father. You are done tonight." He quickly ran away from there.
Ashwant came out of his thoughts and ask. "Yes? What happened?"
Avanya sighed in frustration "That's what I want to ask you. What happened? Where were you lost? Is everything ok?" She remembered that Abhiveera summoned him in the afternoon "You told me that father called you in afternoon. Is it related to that?" She asked with concern that was seen on her face.
Ashwant chuckled after seeing his wife's concern and how much she care for him. Now he can understand what his father was trying to say. As he have Avanya to care for him, Raksheet also need someone to care for him.
As Avanya always makes him smile with her innocence and love, doesn't matter how tough the situation is, Raksheet also need someone who can make him smile and feel relax. A king always need his queen, who can stand by his side and always assure him that she will never leave him. Doesn't matter what happen next, she will always be there for him. Till last breath.
Ashwant turned towards his wife, facing her. He took her hands in his hands and caressed them.
"Yes, i was thinking about something. And you guessed it right, it is related about when father summoned me to meet him."
"Then....can you tell me, what is it about?" Avanya asked in curiosity.
"Yes! of course! I have to tell you! I can't take this decision without asking you."
"Really?!" She asked in wonder. She was feeling so blessed that she got such a loving and sweet husband who always respect her and her opinions.
"Yes!" Ashwant replied "Your opinion is as important as mine. Because it's about our son, so it's important to know your opinion about it."
After hearing that it's about her son, Avanya became even more curious.
"What about our son? First of all, which one. Raksheet or Ahil?"
"It's about Raksheet."
"What about him?"
"Father want him to get married, before the coronation. Father thinks that Raksheet need someone who can love and take care of him. As we all know, Raksheet don't care about himself. He just care about our family and kingdom. he never seeks time for himself.
After you and me, who will take care of him? He never thinks before doing anything which is good for kingdom, even if it's dangerous for him, for his life. If he get married before becoming a king, he will have someone on his side. Except the kingdom, he will have someone's responsibility on his shoulder and he will think about her before doing anything. And i think father is right. Raksheet should get married. He is of marriageable age. What do you think about it?" Ashwant asked to Avanya who was listening everything carefully, without taking her eyes off from her husband and blinking.
She smiled slightly and replied "Father is right. We should think about Raksheet's marriage. I thought we will talk about it after his coronation but what father said is right. Raksheet don't care about himself. He should get married. At least his wife will make him think what will happen to his loved ones if he put his life at risk."
"Yes, you are right.....so, should I tell father that you are ok with this?"
"Yes. But we should talk to Raksheet about it. We should know what he want. Is he ready to take this responsibility?"
"Don't worry. He won't refuse father's words. He always listen to us." Ashwant reassured "Tomorrow, we will talk to Raksheet about it, ok?"
Avanya smiled and nod as yes "But...do you know any girl? I mean, does father know any suitable girl for Raksheet?"
"Yes. He know a girl who is good for our son. And you will love her."
Next day,
Abhiveera was sitting in his family hall with his wife, son and daughter-in-law. They were waiting for theirs sons, Raksheet and Ahil.
After some time, Raksheet and Ahil entered in hall and saw all their family members were sitting there.
They greeted their elders.
"Did you called me grandfather?" Raksheet asked.
"Yes. First, come and sit." Abhiveera said and gestured Raksheet to sit between him and Neisha.
Raksheet nod and went towards his grandfather and sat down next to him.
"Ahil, come. Sit here." Avanya said and gestured Ahil to sit next to her and his father.
Ahil nod and sat down next to his parents.
"So, why did you called me grandfather? Everything ok?" Raksheet asked.
"Yes everything is fine. We wanted to talk to you about something. And it's important." Ashwant said.
"What is it about?"
"About your marriage." Neisha said with a smile.
Raksheet looked at her grandmother with shock and then at his grandfather and parents.
"W-What? About my marriage? What do you mean?" Raksheet asked, trying to understand what is happening. What does they mean by his marriage all of a sudden? And why?
"Raksheet, you should get married. Soon you will be a king and after that you won't have time to think about your wife. So it's better that you get married soon." Abhiveera said, trying to convince him.
"Raksheet, there will be so many responsibilities on you after becoming the king. You won't have time for yourself then how will you seek time for marriage and your wife?" Ashwant said.
"But father, i am not ready to take such a big responsibility." Raksheet expressed his feelings, hoping that his parents will understand him and drop the idea of his marriage but it was of no use.
"You are ready to take responsibility of whole kingdom but not of a girl? You can take responsibility of Kingdom but not your wife's, who will always be on your side?" Avanya asked.
Raksheet don't know what to say. He looked down at his hands, feeling tongue twisted.
"Wife is not just a responsibility, she is your life partner. She will always support and love you. Whenever you will feel low or stucked, she will help you find a way. She will make you smile. She will give you the love that you can't find anywhere else in this world.
You will not feel alone whenever she is arround you. Don't think that she will be a burden in the name of responsibility. As much you have to take her responsibility, she also have to take your responsibility. She won't be a problem for you, she will be the solution of all your problems." Neisha tried to convince Raksheet by saying all the positive things which can change Raksheet's thought for his future wife so that he will not see her as a burden.
"Your grandmother is right. Don't think that you are not ready to take responsibility of your wife. Because she will be not only your wife but future queen of this kingdom. As much as a king is important for the kingdom, a queen is also important equally. And i am sure, you won't regret it." Abhiveera said.
Raksheet sighed and closed his eyes. He was still unsure whether he should get married or not, but he trust his parent's decision. They won't ask him to do something which is not good for him. If they are saying that it's good for him to get married, then it would be actually good for him.
Raksheet opened his eyes and looked at his grandfather "Ok. I will get married. Because I know you always want good for me. If you are saying this is good for me, then I am always ready. i will marry any girl, anytime of your choice." He said with a smile and it made others smile too.
"I knew that you won't refuse my words. I am really proud of you my son." Abhiveera pulled Raksheet in a hug and patted his back. He then broke the hug and said "And don't worry. We won't choose any random girl for you. We will make you marry a beautiful princess who is so sweet and respectful as well as loving."
"Who?" Raksheet asked, feeling that his grandfather already have a plan in his mind.
Everyone looked at each other and chuckled while Raksheet and Ahil were looking at them confused.
Abhiveera then looked at Raksheet and said. "Princess Ira chakravarthy. Granddaughter of Viraaj chakravarthy."
Hearing Ira's name, Raksheet and Ahil immediately stood up in schock.
"What? Princess Ira?" Ahil asked.
"Grandfather, princess Ira? H-How is it possible? How can I..." Raksheet asked worriedly, thinking that it will be inappropriate for him to marry her.
Abhiveera stood up and other also followed him and stood up.
"Why you can't? You sure can marry her. She is a good girl. She know how to respect others and she is well mannered. And i am sure you want someone like her." Abhiveera said.
"Grandfather, it's not about that. It's about what you told us about princess Ira. How can I marry her when she is just like..." He looked at Abhiveera anxiously.
"There is nothing to worry about. I really want you to marry her. She is a perfect girl for you. I would love it if you marry her. Take it as my wish that i want you to fulfill." Abhiveera said.
"But grandfather, didn't you said she....she have health issues? Won't it affect our lineage?" He asked hesitantly.
Abhiveera smiled bitterly and shook his head. "Don't worry. I am sure it will not affect our lineage. Her treatment is on going. She will be fine soon. We just have to take extra care of her. And I am sure she will be completely fine after marrying you and taking treatment in Jwalana."
Raksheet sighed and smiled at his grandfather. If his grandfather really want him to marry Ira and if he is comfortable with it, he don't have any objection "If you really want it, then I am ready to marry her."
Hearing Raksheet's answer, the happiness spread in the room. Abhiveera smiled brightly and hugged him from side.
Abhiveera broke the hug "Then I will send your marriage proposal to his majesty Viraaj for princess Ira."
Raksheet nod with a smile and Abhiveera again hugged him.
