Though the higher authorities tried to suppress this news,it eventually reached the civilians who wholeheartedly supported it.The government no longer had reason but to invest in this endeavour which though exotic,still wasn't insurmountable as long as enough resources were supplied.After centuries of research with constant failures and regression,a new war platform was produced on one solar day,broadcasted to all civilians to show the fruit of the government's labour.The government had already named this machine as a 'mech' for whatever reasons that justified that stance.
The results didn't disappoint at all as these war machines were as big as a three story building and was as big as a the space rockets of the old days.These machines with all this weight possessed terrifying fire power with their lasers and the gigantic sword they possessed which could beat the hell out of any opposition.
The mech even after possessing this weight moved with such amazing that the civilians couldn't help but be shocked by the terrifying combat prowess of these so called mechs.This was just pure ingenuity as the civilians thought.When they thought after flexing its muscles the mech was done,they were wrong.After this exercise,the mech went to face up against a warship and though it lost,it still put up a mean and valiant fight against its adversary.And for a moment after the silence,the civilians the civilians were quiet as they tried to comprehend what just happened.These tiny mechs could still put up a bit of resistance against the warships,though hardly,it was still quite terrifying when thinking about this.The humans finally saw hope in becoming one of the best and advanced civilisation as the other top hegemony.The authorities immediately issued a followup speech by one of it's high authorities to show their stance on mechs and what their future was going to be with it.

This was where it all began,the quick proliferation of mechs across the solar human galactic federation.Human successfully launched attacks and continuously waged wars against countless alien civilisation.Though there were sometimes setbacks, they never lost hope and came back with more momentum to defeat and vanquish its opponents thoroughly,leaving no remnants which might cause future problems.
Solar humanity continuously developed until it became a hegemony and was ranked alongside other top civilisations.Humanity finally stopped it expansion when the civilisation left to conquer were comparable or though small,was not worth taking the risk to do so.Thus they continuously harvested their gains until they fully became a well known civilisation across the galaxy.However immediately after the humans finished their consolidation,it was immediately detected that as there was an abnormal special anomaly detected at their end of the galaxy as every top rank civilisation at least occupied a star system closer to the end of the galaxy and with the solar human being superior to most advanced civilisations,it acquired quite a chunk of space at the far end of the galaxy.
This anomaly was secretly documented and was immediately guarded up against.Every year and time this anomaly would always shrink and then twist to enlarge what seemed to look like a spatial fissure.The humans then got Intel from their spies that this anomaly existed in every advanced civilisation.However this didn't please them because on one day,a news report came in that made them give in to despair

"Sir please,it was both a success and a failure".The captain could detect an omen with the immense fear originating from the scientists face.
"Please Elaborate further,Ark".They were best buddies so he didn't mind referring him unofficially.
"The bio core detector only glimpsed at the life fluctuations and what we detected on the other side was ....."
"Wait what!!!!,Seems this galaxy is not going to be so peaceful after all.Tell everybody to have the next 20 years to themselves"
