CHAPTER 3
Min-joon and mi ran POV
I think this girl is crazy, I was on my way to the interview center when she crashed on my back, even though she apologized that's not enough, she can't just be running around like this is a race track. I have been talking to her and she was just looking at me strangely " are you crazy" I shouted, I think that's enough to snap her out of her thoughts.
Mi Ran
It was when he shouted that I snapped out of my thoughts, Aigoo just because you are handsome that doesn't give you the right to shout at me, I thought, I looked directly into his eyes before I said ' am not crazy, but I will advice you to learn how to accept an apology, I didn't hit you on purpose, and everyone make mistakes' I said.
He was giving me a deadly glare, ahh this guy is so full of his self , I thought' which department do you work, he asked I didn't even respond when he turned to the man behind him and shouted " who hired such an incompetent person, he shouted, the man was quiet, then he turned to me ' I asked you a question' he shouted, Aigoo I don't have your time, I said before u walked pass him and head for the interview center.
"geomanhan"(arrogant) I whispered, before walking away.
Min-joon
Who the heck is that, I shouted, 'I don't know exactly which department she works at president Kim, but I will look into it, Mr Yoon replied, the interview has already started I think we should get going president, he said. Huh I sighed trying to calm down, after I was sure I was calm enough, I headed for the interview hall, who ever she is I will find her, even it means checking each and every department in this company.
We reached the interview center, and I entered through the door the interviewer's use.
"joeun achim imnida (good morning)(formal) the interviewer's greeted, I nodded before taking my sit ' why hasn't the interview started it's already time right? I asked, yes Sir it's time but we were waiting for you, one of the interviewer's said, okay, let's start then, I said.
Mi Ran
There were two doors that led to the interview room, I almost entered the first one, until a nice guy stopped me and told me only the interviewer's enter through this door, he seems kind and friendly and also he seems to be one of the interviewer's, Aigoo if all the interviewer's are like him then surely am likely to get this job, I thought.
I entered the other door and there was a reception where all the interviewees are, I sat down close to one of them, they were mostly girls I think they were only five men, I looked at the girls and they all seem to be wearing heavy makeup, only few aren't wearing it, Aigoo I should have also wear makeup, I thought.
They began entering the hall, I think the interview is starting, huh I hope I get lucky this time, I have applied like million jobs and got to went for thousand interviews but they all usually say ' we will get back to you' but until today non of them did.
Min-joon
The first interviewee came in, I looked at her and she was wearing a heavy makeup with tight dress that stops right before her knees, ahhh I hate this kind of people that think that they beauty will get them somewhere, before she even sat down I said ' disqualified' everybody in the room looked at me, ' sir? One of the interviewer's said, do I have to repeat my self?.I asked, no sir he said before he told the girl that she was disqualified, after she left another one came in and she was also wearing heavy makeup and tight clothes 'disqualified' I Said again, one of the interviewer's told her she is disqualified, she left the room, Mr Yoon go out there and disqualify all the girls that are wearing heavy makeup and improper clothes I said blankly ' yes sir' he responded before heading out.
Mi Ran
The first girl that went in came out immediately, so did the second one and they all seemed annoyed and angry, Aigoo don't tell me they were disqualified, if even such beautiful women are disqualified just when they entered am sure I'll be disqualified before I even entered the hall, suddenly a man Walked out of the room, I looked up and saw the man that was behind that arrogant man, Aigoo am dead I shouted, if that arrogant man is inside the room, am sure I will be disqualified in seconds, ahhh I hope he isn't in there.
The man then pointed at all the girls with makeup before saying you are all disqualified, he was about to walk back in when one of the girls shouted ' what do you mean by that's he looked at her before saying I don't think I have to repeat myself, so I suggest you should just walk out calmly out of here, he said ' no, I won't, am here for the interview and I won't leave until I have sone it' she shouted again, the man then head out of the reception. Ahhh thankfully I didn't wear makeup if not I will have been one of those people that were disqualified,.the man came back with some bunch of security guards and threatened the girl that if she doesn't walk out calmly he will asked the guards to throw her out of here, after hearing that she walked out of the room frustrated and angry with all the other women behind her.
I looked around and saw that known only the eight of us are left, five men and three women including me, I then looked up and made eye contact with the man, I was expecting him to give me a dead glare or something but instead he just smiled at me before walking back into the room, I wasn't expecting that, I thought.
One by one the interviewees came out of the hall some smiling and some sad, it was my turn so I stood up and gathered some courage, I took a deep breath and told my self I can do it before I walked into the room.
I bowed a little before saying " joeun achim imnida(good morning)( formal), I took my sit when I looked up I saw that I was facing him!!!!! The guy I crashed into, just then I knew I won't be getting this job, something told me to just walk out of the hall quietly I was about to do that when one of the interviewers said " you are Han Mi Ran right? I looked at him and saw that it was the guy that showed me the interviewees door, he was giving me a smile that said it's going to be okay, I nodded before he said let's start the interview then.
Min-joon POV
The interviewees left seemed like responsible people they were all dressed properly and are polite, but I only choose two of them , one man and one woman they seemed more responsible than the rest, it's that all, I asked Mr Yoon before he said no sir they is still one left, I nodded in response, then the last one came in, she took the sit right in front of me, I looked up and saw that woman! The one that crashed into me the one and only person that dared to look into my eyes and shout at me, I looked at her angrily, before I could said disqualified, Mr Jung asked you are Han Mi Ran right? She nodded, ohhh so her name is Han Mi Ran, I looked at her before I said' so you are here for the interview huh? I asked angrily making all the interviewer's to look at me she slowly nodded, "disqualified" I said, I stood up and was about to leave before she said, "joesonghamnida,joesonghamnida,"(I am sorry, I am sorry) ( formal) , she said While bowing, I didn't even look at her, I was about to exit the hall when she said am really sorry, her voice seemed like she was about to cry, I don't know why but I turned and looked at her, you are sorry you think just a simple apology can make up for what you did' I said angrily, she didn't respond so I just turned wand was about to exit the room when my grandpa came in and said ' you should hire her' I looked at him surprised before saying ' and why should we do that Mr chairman' I asked, Aigoo you should hire more women who knows one of them might be the one for you , he replied smiling, ahhh this old man is really something I didn't respond, I just walked out of the hall,let him hire her I will do everything in my power to make sure she resigns from this company herself, I thought.
My grandpa is still the Chairman of this company, my dad was the CEO and was going to become chairman but due to his heart disease, he wasn't able too.
Mi Ran
When he said I was disqualified my heart dropped, I immediately stood up and bowed apologing but he just ignored me, I didn't realize when tears started coming out of my eyes, I said sorry again before he turned and said you are sorry you think just a simple apologing can make up for what you did' he shouted I didn't respond, but suddenly I heard someone said she should be hired, I looked up and saw a old man " and why should we do that Mr chairman' the man asked, Aigoo you should hire more women who knows one of them might be the one for you' the chairman guy said smiling, the man didn't respond he just walked out with the guy I assume to be his secretary walking behind him.
I looked at the chairman and immediately bowed saying " Gamsahamnida"(thank you)(formal), he said " no worries , am sorry for my grandson's behavior' , before I could respond he walked out with the interviewer's behind him, huh I sighed before collapsing on one of the chairs, ahh thank God I was able to get this job if not I didn't know how to pay my bills this month' I said, "oh really' I Heard someone said, I looked up and saw that friendly guy, oh sorry I didn't realize I said that out loud I said, " he laughed before saying is okay' he handed me a bottle of water before he sat on the chair next to me.
Jung Soo-hyun he said Han Mi Ran I responded, I already know he said smiling, ohh I said smiling, which department do you work at " I asked, research department 3 he said, ohhh, I responded.
What happened between you and the president, he asked, president? I questioned before realization hit me ohh that arrogant guy I said, he looked at me before saying don't let him hear you say that, ohh I said putting my hand in my lips, so he is the president, I asked, yes he is, didn't you hear the chairman call him his grandson' he asked, I did but I thought his dad will be the president, I said, okay, he said " but why is he the president, Is his father gone? I asked, no he responded, his dad is sick so he took over the position, he said, I nodded in understanding, before he stood up and said it was nice meeting you Han Mi Ran, so am the first friend you make in this company, he said grinning like a child who just got a sweet, I laughed at his reaction, before saying actually you are the first friend I made in my life, woah he said surprised, how comes? He asked I was quiet, I didn't know how to tell him that am an orphan, I grew up in the orphanage, and that all I ever did was get bullied nobody wanted to be friends with me, even when I was in college, is okay if you don't want to talk about it, he said, ohh is not that, I responded, is okay, he said, I smiled appreciating his understanding.
Well Mi Ran your first and best friend has to get going he said, best? I questioned, yeah since you don't have one , am know your best friend he said smiling, I smiled back at him, thanks I said, you are highly welcome, he said while bowing, I laughed at that before he said " jal-isseo"(bye,(to someone staying)(informal), bye I said, he was about to leave when I remembered I didn't asked him which day am starting.
Hey I called, he turned and asked anything else besty?, yes I wanted to know which day am to start walking, I questioned, umm probably tomorrow, we need the research team 4 to start walking as soon as possible, usually they are the supporting team, he said. Wait isn't they anybody in they anyone in the research team , I asked, yes they aren't, they all got fired' he responded. What!! Why? I asked, he smiled before saying you don't want to know the answer to that Besty, he then exited the room.
Aigoo no matter what the reason is, I hope we too won't get fired, I then stood up and also exited the interview room, I need to go home and get everything ready for work, so that I can rest early, tomorrow is surely gonna be a long day.
