CHAPTER 7
Mi Ran POV
I paid the taxi driver before I went out and head inside the company, I went to the receptionist and greeted her "joeun achim imnida" (good morning/formal) she nodded in response before I asked "which floor is for research teams please" she looked at me, the look sort of say's I pity you, she told me the floor and I thanked her before I headed for the elevator, I pressed it and waited for some minutes but it just won't open, I pressed it again but still nothing, I sighed frustrated, I was about to turn and asked the receptionist why the elevator isn't walking, but then I saw two men entering another elevator, I didn't even notice there was another elevator on this floor, there entered the elevator and the door was about to close when I ran I slipped through the door, I stopped trying to regain my breath , after I was calm enough I turned to greet the people behind me, but the moment I saw them my eyes widen.
Aigoo, It was president Kim and his secretary, he was looking at me angrily he looks like he wants to strangle me, while his secretary was looking at me amused "what are you doing here" president Kim questioned. What does he mean by what am I doing here, isn't this an elevator for people to use to go to the floor there wish too, I was about to say what came to my mind, when I remembered he is the president of this company, and if I don't want to get fired I better reply respectfully, so I smiled before replying " I am going to the research department, as you know am currently working there" I said smiling sheepishly " I didn't ask you where you are going am asking you what you are doing in this elevator" he asked, I was about to reply when his secretary cut me off by saying " only the chairman and president are allowed to use this elevator".
Aigoo am in trouble, so that's why he is asking me what I am doing here, but I had no idea only he and the chairman uses this elevator, Han Mi Ran seems like you need to find a new job, I turned around waiting for the elevator to open so that I should just walk calmly out of the company without getting fired "shouldn't you be explaining why you are here' president Kim said annoyed, maybe I should try explaining but what if he gets even more angry, huh I should just explain he will get more angrier if I don't, I took in a deep breath before I turned and started talking while facing the ground " I had no Idea only you and the chairman uses this elevator " I said hurriedly before I bowed and said " joesonghamnida"(I'm sorry/formal) I was still bowing waiting for his reply when the elevator door opened but instead of replying me he walked out of the elevator with his secretary behind him.
I looked up frustrated, when I saw he was gone I shouted "geomanhan"( Arrogant) I walked out of the elevator frustrated I went to the one staffs uses I pressed the floor where the research team are and waited for the elevator to reach there.
I walked out of the elevator, I was looking around cause I don't know exactly where to go, I should have asked the receptionist to guide me, I thought, "besty' I heard a voice behind me called, I turned around and saw Jung Soo-hyun smiling at me, ahh he came at the right time, "besty" I called back before he walked up to me " how are you" he asked "I am good and you " I replied he smiled before saying "same am also good', "that's nice to hear' I replied, I was waiting for him to say something but he was just smiling at me weirdly, this guy is crazy, I mean from the first time I met him I thought he was weird, you just met a person for the first and you are already calling him besty, I don't know how long it takes for a person to become your best friend but surely it has to take a bit longer than a minute.
"Where is the research team 4 office" I asked him, "let me introduce you to the other research teams cause as you should know your team is the support team for the other teams" he said before he started walking while I follow behind him.
"this is research team 1" he said ,he introduced me to their team leader and the rest of the team, I said hello but non of them responded their were just focused on the work they were doing, same as research team 2, research team 3 responded when I said hello but it didn't seem like they wanted too, they probably responded because am together with their team leader.
"and finally research team 4 " he said before he entered the office, they were three people there 2 men and a woman, one of the men seems to be in his late thirties while the other seems to be in his early twenties, the woman looks like she is 24 or 25, they all looked at me when Jung Soo-hyun was introducing me, they were looking at me blankly only the guy that seems to be in his early twenties which I now know that his name is Lee min is smiling at me.
Seems like walking here won't be as nice as I thought, from the president to the employees, everybody is weird, I thought.
