Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Last Stand

The Battle Begins – Jaxon Cross vs. Seth Rollins

The WWE Universe was on the edge of their seats. After weeks of tension, betrayal, and manipulation, Jaxon Cross and Seth Rollins were finally set to clash in what could be the most brutal and personal match of their careers. The arena buzzed with anticipation as the lights dimmed and the tension in the air became palpable.

Jaxon stood at the entrance ramp, the faint echoes of his theme music fading into the roar of the crowd. His eyes, sharp and determined, never once left the ring where Seth Rollins waited, his signature cocky smile plastered across his face. But there was no smile from Jaxon. This wasn't a match to him anymore. It was a reckoning.

Seth raised his arms in typical fashion, soaking in the hatred from the crowd, but Jaxon was already marching down the ramp, his eyes locked on him. The betrayal still burned, and there was only one thing Jaxon wanted now—to show Seth exactly what happens when you cross him.

Seth grabbed a microphone as Jaxon climbed into the ring, his words dripping with arrogance. "You really think you can take me down? You really think that after everything we've been through, you can just walk away from this, Cross? You're nothing without me."

Jaxon didn't respond with words. He responded with action. Without hesitation, he lunged at Seth, throwing a brutal right hook that sent Seth stumbling backward. The crowd erupted as the fight began in full force. The gloves were off, and there would be no mercy in this match.

The Fight for Control – No More Allies

Seth and Jaxon exchanged blows that could've broken lesser men. Jaxon's raw aggression clashed with Seth's calculated precision. The match became a brutal showcase of their differences—Jaxon, fighting from the heart with pure rage, and Seth, using every underhanded trick in the book to maintain control.

Jaxon whipped Seth into the ropes and caught him with a massive clothesline, knocking him down. The crowd roared in approval, but Seth wasn't down for long. He quickly rolled out of the ring, grabbing a steel chair from under the apron. The smirk on Seth's face was gone now. In its place was the cold, calculating demeanor of a man who wasn't about to be bested.

But Jaxon was prepared. He dove through the ropes, landing on Seth before he could use the chair, and the two men crashed onto the floor. The fight spilled into the crowd as they brawled, neither man showing any mercy. Jaxon slammed Seth into the barricade, but Seth fought back with a low blow, sending Jaxon to the ground.

"You're weak, Jaxon. I knew you couldn't handle it on your own." Seth's words were like daggers, but they didn't break Jaxon. They only fueled the fire.

The two continued to battle outside the ring, with the referee's count growing louder. The action was intense, but both men were relentless. Jaxon tossed Seth back into the ring and climbed to the top rope, but Seth was quick to recover, meeting him with a punch to the midsection. Seth climbed up after him, setting up for a superplex—but Jaxon blocked it.

In a split second, Jaxon reversed the move, throwing Seth to the mat with a thunderous top-rope suplex. The crowd erupted, but Jaxon wasn't done. He went for the Crossface, locking it in tightly and pulling back with every ounce of strength he had. Seth screamed in pain as Jaxon applied more pressure, trying to break his opponent's will.

But Seth, ever the manipulator, managed to grab the ropes, forcing the break. He was bleeding, his face battered, but his will was unbroken. Seth pulled himself to his feet, looking around the ring with desperation. He knew it was only a matter of time before his betrayal caught up with him. But he wasn't done just yet.

The Turning Point – The Edge of Betrayal

Just as Jaxon was about to land another devastating move, the lights flickered. The eerie bell tolls filled the arena once again. The crowd grew silent as the Undertaker's presence overtook the arena. Jaxon froze, momentarily distracted by the unsettling sound of the bells.

And in that instant, Seth saw his opening. As Jaxon turned to look at the stage, Seth took advantage. He kicked Jaxon in the back of the knee, dropping him to the mat, and then hit him with his finishing move—the Curb Stomp. The impact rattled the ring as Jaxon's head slammed into the canvas. Seth went for the cover, and the referee counted—1... 2...

But Jaxon kicked out. The crowd roared in disbelief, but Seth's frustration grew. He knew that this wasn't over, not yet.

Seth grabbed Jaxon's legs and tried to lock in a Figure Four Leg Lock, but Jaxon powered out, shoving Seth off and springing to his feet. They were both bruised and battered, but it was clear that Jaxon wasn't going down easily.

And then, it happened.

From out of nowhere, Edge and Randy Orton rushed to the ring, attacking Jaxon. The crowd gasped as Edge hit him with a steel chair while Orton delivered a RKO to Seth, causing the entire arena to explode in chaos.

But just as all seemed lost, The Undertaker's ominous presence filled the arena once more, and his shadow loomed large over the ring. The lights flickered again, and the Deadman appeared on the entrance ramp.

The Undertaker's Warning – The Darkness Consumes

The Undertaker stood there, silent, his eyes locked onto both Jaxon and Seth. The chaotic scene in the ring seemed to stop, as if the entire universe had aligned for a single moment. Then, Undertaker spoke, his voice booming across the arena like thunder.

"Jaxon Cross… Seth Rollins… you both think you can control this world? You think you can outsmart fate? You've forgotten the price that must be paid for power. And tonight… tonight, the reckoning begins."

The atmosphere grew colder, the fans sensing that this wasn't just a match—it was the beginning of something darker. Edge and Randy Orton, realizing that they had no control over the situation, backed off into the shadows, watching as The Undertaker slowly made his way to the ring.

Jaxon Cross, still groggy from the attack, looked up at the Deadman, knowing that he had to confront him sooner or later. But this moment, with everything on the line, was different. Jaxon wasn't just fighting for survival anymore. He was fighting for his soul.

Seth Rollins, still reeling from the RKO earlier, turned to face Jaxon with hatred in his eyes. But just as he moved forward, Undertaker raised a single finger, and the entire arena was plunged into darkness.

When the lights returned, The Undertaker had disappeared, leaving only a note in the ring—"The darkness claims all."

Jaxon and Seth were left staring at each other, uncertain of what would happen next. Would they join forces to face The Undertaker, or would they destroy each other first?
