Chapter 6: Buying a House
Outside the Civil Affairs Bureau.
"I actually married someone I had just met."
Shiho Miyano's gaze slowly drifted to the marriage certificate, where the names and photos of the two of them were printed. Their smiles were bright and happy.
"Wife, allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Lin Yu. Please guide me for the rest of our lives." He looked at her gently, his eyes filled with love and promise.
"Yeah!" Shiho Miyano nodded shyly, her voice barely a whisper, a faint blush spreading across her face. She nodded slightly, not daring to look directly into Lin Yu's eyes, but her heart was brimming with joy and anticipation.
"Let's go, let's buy a house to be our wedding home," Lin Yu said softly, taking Shiho Miyano's hand. His palm was broad and warm, and he held her small hand tightly, as if to dispel all her anxiety and nervousness.
They walked side by side down the street, basking in the warm sunshine. The gentle breeze ruffled their hair, bringing a slight coolness. Shiho Miyano's mood gradually eased. She secretly glanced up at Lin Yu beside her, a happy sparkle in her eyes.
"Honey...husband, we seem to be out of money!" Shiho Miyano asked in a low voice.
"Don't worry, I've been prepared for this!" Lin Yu flashed a smug smile. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a universal capsule, saying confidently.
With a light press from Lin Yu, the universal capsule was instantly activated. Immediately afterwards, a loud "bang" echoed, and thick smoke billowed up, filling the air. However, as the smoke gradually cleared.
The ground, which was originally empty, suddenly, as if by magic, revealed a house. The scene before her made Shiho Miyano's eyes widen – the entire room was filled with glittering gold!
The gold was piled up like mountains, emitting a dazzling light that made one marvel.
"Wow!!! Gold, honey, so much gold!" Shiho Miyano was so excited that her voice trembled slightly, and her eyes shone with excitement.
"I'll entrust these to you for safekeeping from now on, baby," Lin Yu said, looking at Shiho Miyano with a smile, his eyes full of trust and love. He gently took back the universal capsule and placed it in Shiho Miyano's white and slender palm.
Shiho Miyano was slightly stunned. She looked down at the universal capsule in her hand, feeling the lingering warmth of Lin Yu, and a warm current surged through her heart.
"Honey, you're so sweet!" Shiho Miyano gently kissed Lin Yu on the cheek. This kiss seemed to carry endless sweetness and tenderness. A gleam of happiness shone in her eyes, and the corners of her mouth curved slightly into an extremely satisfied smile.
However, Lin Yu did not seem satisfied with such a reward. He said with a mischievous smile, "This reward is far from enough, my dear wife. Please reward me properly on our wedding night tonight!" His eyes revealed a hint of playful cunning and anticipation.
Hearing this, Shiho Miyano's face instantly turned crimson, like a ripe apple, and she was so embarrassed that she almost blushed visibly. She said coquettishly, "You're so annoying! You're so bad!"
