Chapter 12 - 12-13

Chapter 12: Selling Points

Lin Yu entered the chat group and saw that there were already hundreds of unread messages. He eagerly began scrolling through them, curious about the topics everyone was discussing. Suddenly, one message caught his eye:

[Da Gu makes soup: Everyone, I have discovered a secret.]

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: What's the secret? Brother Dagu, please tell us what you have to say.]

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: +1]

Seeing this, Lin Yu couldn't help but become curious.

[Da Gu boiled soup: Everyone, I found out that the chat group system mall doesn't just let us buy things; we can also sell things to earn points!]

This news was like a bombshell, instantly causing a frenzy in the entire chat group.

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: Really? Let me try it too.]

He couldn't wait to open the system mall and put his Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms skill up for sale.

Not long after, he announced excitedly, "Haha, my Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms is actually worth 10,000 points! Now I can buy a time-travel talisman to visit your worlds."

This news once again caused a sensation among everyone, and they were all surprised and curious about the new features of the system mall.

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: It's actually true! Then I'll try it too.]

He acted quickly and uploaded the Maoshan magic he was proficient in to the system mall.

Lin Yu also opened the system mall. As soon as he entered, he saw the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms being sold by Leader Qiao. However, when he carefully looked at the price, he couldn't help feeling speechless. He clearly remembered that when Leader Qiao had just sold this secret manual, it only cost 10,000 points. But now, the system had actually raised the purchase price to 100,000 points! It had increased tenfold!

Lin Yu cursed silently, "Swindler! It turns out all merchants are swindlers!"

Despite his thoughts, Lin Yu still sold his Ki Blast skill. Although Tien Shinhan's signature move was quite powerful, it seemed insignificant to Lin Yu. For Lin Yu, selling this skill in exchange for points was a better choice.

With a satisfying chime, the Ki Blast sold for a full one million points. Lin Yu glanced at the mall again and found that the price of the Ki Blast had now become ten million. This damn system is so treacherous.

Just a Ki Blast like that was worth a full one million points! If he were to sell more powerful skills like Kamehameha or Ki Blade, wouldn't the price be even higher? Thinking of this, Lin Yu couldn't help but feel his heart race. However, he had no immediate plans to sell those skills. After all, the item he truly desired wasn't available in the mall yet. Even with a large number of points, they were meaningless if he couldn't use them to exchange for what he needed. Therefore, Lin Yu decided to wait until new members joined in the future before making any further decisions. By then, perhaps better products would appear in the mall, allowing him to make full use of his points and exchange them for more practical skills.

At the same time, on the highway, a sleek black Porsche 356A was speeding along the road, a cold glint reflecting off its polished surface. A tense atmosphere filled the car, making one feel suffocated.

"Vodka, head to Beika Town, 2nd Block," Gin said expressionlessly from the driver's seat, his voice cold and ruthless.

I want to see who saved her, Gin muttered to himself, a fierce light flashing in his eyes.

Chapter 13: Scared Gin

Just near Lin Yu's house, a black Porsche pulled to a slow stop. The car doors opened, and Gin and Vodka emerged. They were clad in black suits and sunglasses, exuding an aura of cold mystery.

On a tall building in the distance, a woman in dark clothing lay still, a sniper rifle clutched in her hands. She was Chianti, the sniper Gin had arranged. Her eyes were cold and focused, trained on Lin Yu's house, her finger resting lightly on the trigger, ready to fire at a moment's notice.

Gin and Vodka stood downstairs, silently observing the building where Lin Yu's house was located. Their faces were impassive, but a shared murderous intent simmered within them.

"Are you ready?" Gin asked in a low voice.

"No problem!" Vodka replied.

"Go ahead," Gin ordered.

Vodka nodded, turned, and began walking towards Lin Yu's house.

Simultaneously, Chianti adjusted her position, her finger barely touching the trigger, waiting for the optimal moment to shoot.

The room was utterly silent, save for the soft rhythm of breathing. Lin Yu sat quietly beside the bed, gazing at the sleeping Shiho Miyano with gentle eyes. Suddenly, his eyes sharpened, as if he had sensed something. He realized that Gin and Vodka were already outside the door. A faint smile touched the corners of Lin Yu's lips. He carefully and slowly extracted his arm from beneath Shiho Miyano's head. Though his movements were gentle, they still elicited a slight reaction from her. She frowned and murmured softly, "Hmm..." Lin Yu's heart skipped a beat, fearing he had awakened her. He quickly stilled his movements and waited quietly for her to drift back to sleep. Finally, Shiho Miyano's breathing deepened and became steady once more. Lin Yu let out a silent sigh of relief, then gently pulled up the quilt and tucked it carefully around Shiho Miyano to ensure she wouldn't get cold. Having done all this, Lin Yu stood up and moved towards the door.

The instant Lin Yu opened the door, Chianti squeezed the trigger, and a bullet shot out with swift precision. However, Lin Yu merely raised his hand casually and caught the projectile as if it were no more dangerous than a child's toy. His movements were light and effortless, devoid of any tension or panic. Chianti stared at the scene in utter disbelief, her eyes wide with shock. She had never imagined that someone could intercept her bullet so easily!

At that moment, Gin and Vodka suddenly sprang from their hiding places, pistols in hand, and began firing relentlessly at Lin Yu.

However, faced with this barrage, Lin Yu didn't even flinch. A contemptuous smile played on the corners of his mouth. To him, these individuals were nothing more than a pair of clowns, unworthy of his evasion.

After all, as a being whose power rivaled that of gods, how could Lin Yu possibly be concerned by these insignificant figures whose combat power barely registered?

"Bang, bang, bang, bang!" The two men emptied their magazines, but Lin Yu remained completely unscathed.

"Are you finished?" Lin Yu yawned lazily, as if he had just woken up from a nap. He stretched languidly and said, "I need to get back to sleep with my wife. I don't have time to play around with you guys." With that, Lin Yu turned and prepared to go back inside.

At this moment, Gin suddenly stopped him, his eyes like chips of ice. Lin Yu smiled faintly, a hint of mockery in the curve of his lips. He looked at Gin with disdain, then extended a finger and flicked it forward, a dazzling golden beam of light erupting from his fingertip!

The golden light streaked across the night sky like a bolt of lightning and whizzed past Gin's ear. With a deafening explosion, a massive crater, hundreds of meters deep, was instantly blasted into the open ground behind Gin!

Dust and smoke billowed into the air, and the surrounding trees and buildings were decimated by the sheer force of the impact, reduced to rubble. Gin's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the scene. A primal fear surged through him, utterly shaken by the display of Lin Yu's power.

Having done all this, Lin Yu didn't even spare Gin a second glance, turning and re-entering the house to continue his peaceful morning with Shiho Miyano.

"Gudong!" Vodka swallowed hard, his voice trembling slightly as he asked, "Brother, what should we do now?"

Gin lit a cigarette in silence, but the slight tremor in his hands betrayed his inner fear. "Let's go back to the organization."

This entire scene was unfortunately captured by the satellites of various nations, and the shocked top leaders of these countries hurriedly convened an emergency meeting.
