The fight became unbearably intense.
Shadows surrounded the place, moving as if they had an evil will, blocking the path of Lin and his companions.
Every blow Lin landed against Nyx brought him closer to the dark entity, but the thick armor covering him held.
Falcon said as he dodged a wave of shadows: "Lin! "You have to go further, we'll cover you!"
Lin knew time was running out.
He raised his **Air Sword** and unleashed a massive tornado that ripped its way through the darkness, approaching the center of Nyx's body.
This time, the attack impacted enough to leave a hole in the shadows' armor.
"Now's our chance!" said Lin in a decisive voice
Lin rushed forward, using his **Trident of Water** to create an ice storm that momentarily disrupted Nyx's movements.
He took advantage of the moment and stabbed Nyx directly into his darkness-covered human body, right in the center, between his ribs.
Nyx screamed with a sound that shook the entire place.
Suddenly, darkness began to emanate from his human body like waterfalls of black energy, creating a massive vortex that swallowed up all the surrounding shadows.
Falcon and Julia watched in amazement and horror, while Len felt a tremendous power sweeping through the place, as if everything was being reshaped.
Falcon said in a choppy voice: "What the... "What's going on?"
As the outer darkness receded, Nyx's true form began to emerge.
His human body had been completely transformed.
His skin was black and glowing with red streaks like lava, and his eyes glowed with demonic fury.
He was like a nightmare incarnate, radiating an energy that threatened to crush everything around him.
Nyx said in a mocking voice, but with a fierce anger in his voice: "Finally, the game is over. I no longer need this outer darkness. Now you will see, Guardian, my true power."
Nyx lunged at Lin with astonishing speed, using his darkened human body as his new fighting style.
He was stronger and faster than when he was enveloped in shadows.
Lin summoned **Rock Hammer** to create a stone barrier to the attack, but it only lasted for a moment before it was shattered by Nyx's power.
Julia screamed: "Lin, you can't go on like this! We have to come up with a Plan B!"
Len replied in a loud voice as he narrowly blocked Nyx's attacks: "I know! But now he's more exposed than ever. We have to capitalize on this opportunity!"
Falcon tried to intervene by firing several energy projectiles at Nyx, but Nyx easily blocked them with a quick flick of his hand.
Nyx said sarcastically: "You're weak. "That's all you've got?"
Despite the desperation starting to creep into the group, Lin remained steadfast, trying to find the next hole in Nyx's body.
Nyx said: "Prepare for the end of your journey... "The darkness will leave nothing behind."
The fight was violent and brutal from the start.
Nyx, with his shadowy humanoid body, showed invincible strength, and his attacks were quick and deadly, leaving a mark with every strike.
Despite all attempts, Lin and his comrades seemed to be gradually losing control of the battle.
Falcon was seriously injured after Nyx blocked one of his attacks with a powerful dark wave.
Julia tried to help him, but another attack hit her directly, leaving her unconscious on the ground.
As for Aiden, he seemed to have disappeared completely, as if swallowed up by the darkness.
Lane, reeling from Nyx's powerful blows, raised his **Air Sword** and tried to deliver one last blow to Nyx's human body.
The attack finally succeeded in penetrating the defenses, causing Nyx to scream with a horrifying sound as darkness suddenly poured out of his body.
The scene was terrifying.
The darkness that had covered Nyx began to fade away bit by bit, only to be completely swallowed up in his human body.
With the process complete, Nyx stood before Lin in his true form-his long, black hair glowing with blood-red streaks, his eyes holding a grim gaze that threatened to crush everything.
Nyx said in a deep, hate-filled voice: "You are now alone, Lynn. You have no strength and no hope."
Before Lin could respond, he began to feel weakness take over.
He knelt on the ground, while screaming inside, trying to make sense of what was happening.
Suddenly, the whole place began to change-everything became vague and foggy.
A young boy stood in front of him, his features indistinct, as if his very existence was vanishing and appearing at the same time.
The boy said in a voice that was vague but heavy with meaning: "Why do you continue? The battle is not for you, and you cannot change fate."
Lin began to feel something strange.
It was as if the boy was slowly approaching him, though his footsteps were invisible.
Then it happened: The boy placed his hand on Lin's chest, and with a single touch, black shadows began to wrap around him, his hair turned purple, a black mask crystallized on his face, and a purple-black sword appeared in his hand.
The boy said with a faint smile: "This new form is just the beginning."
Lin, or rather, his new form, stood up as dark energy flowed out of his body.
