At fifteen years old, he was a genius, shining with strength and intelligence, but he failed to wake up from a mysterious slump, becoming a lunatic referred to as scum and garbage.
"Lin, I promise I won't forget you... But I can't stay." The words of Yumi, his childhood friend, were like a dagger piercing his broken soul.
With no family or friends to support him, Lin was left to wallow in the darkness of his isolation. Two years have passed since that moment that changed everything.
One dark night, returning from the store, he found himself surrounded by dozens of small gates that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
From those gates, soldiers in night-like black armor emerged, their faces hidden behind mysterious shadows, their eyes glowing with a red-violet glow.
"This is the boy who asked us to kill him? He looks so weak." The words of one of them mocked him as the others turned around.Lin narrowly avoided the first attack, then picked up a metal stick from the ground and delivered a powerful blow that pierced the attacker's heart. The soldiers realized that Lin was not as weak as they expected.
"Let's attack him together to ensure his death!" one of them shouted.
Lin tried to dodge the attacks, but was hit in the neck by one of the blows. When everyone thought he was dead, the soldiers started to leave.
At that moment, Lin felt the weight of despair creep into his soul. "How ridiculous this life is... I didn't expect to end up here, dead in the cold darkness."
His vision began to fade, but a faint glimmer of light appeared in the center of the darkness, and with it a voice saying: "You must kill him... You must kill him."
In the midst of those words, a mysterious door appeared, Lin's necklace glowed with a strong light, and the door lock began to glow.
With a faint movement, he placed the pendant in the lock, and memories of five of the first awakened appeared.
At that moment, light exploded from Lin's body, reshaping him from the elements. His hair changed color to cyan, and his eyes glowed a similar color.
A terrifying aura appeared around him that made the soldiers see death before their eyes. As he raised a sword that appeared out of nowhere, he whispered to himself in a cold voice: "Kill... Kill... Kill."
In the next moment, he found himself in a strange place like the center of the universe. The sky was full of intricate colors, and the ground beneath his feet was like water but solid.
"You must kill him... You must kill him." The voice echoed again, and a young boy with purple hair appeared, emerging from the shadows as if he were part of the place itself.
The boy said in a voice that was calm but held a mysterious power: "Lin, it's time to wake up. You are now the new Awakened One. I helped you gain power, I hope you won't disappoint me."
Lin responded angrily: "Who are you, why do you look familiar, and what do you want from me?"The boy smiled vaguely and said, "I am just an illusion created by that power. The power is now within you, and what happens next depends on you. If you can save it, save it. If you can destroy it, destroy it."
The boy began to fade away, leaving behind those puzzling words. Suddenly, Lin came to his senses and found himself back at home. But he wasn't the same. His body was stronger, his eyes shone with a cyan color, and he felt a strange energy fill him
Over the next few days, Lin began to explore his new abilities.
In one attempt, he grabbed a new sword he called the "Sword of Air" and unleashed a powerful wind that inadvertently broke the wall of his room.
This incident made him realize the importance of training to control these forces.
During one of his training sessions in the forest, he was attacked by a strange monster that seemed to have emerged from the depths of the earth.
The monster was a cross between a minotaur and a spider, attacking relentlessly with its claws and giant axe.
Lin used the "Dust Spear" to summon sand into barriers, then shot arrows with the "Fire Bow" to paralyze the monster's claws.
Finally, with a powerful blow to its back from the Rock Hammer, he killed it, but the fight cost him dearly.
Lin sat on the ground, panting with fatigue, and muttered to himself: "I can't rely only on my physical strength and weapons. I must learn how to use these powers intelligently."
As he meditated, a blurry image flashed before his eyes, like an old memory that flashed for a moment and then faded away.It was a picture of a little girl and a boy holding out their hands to him.
