(FULL BOOK AVAILABLE IN AMAZON)The next day, Roslin set out to search for her lost bracelet, asking all the girls in the staff to help her look for it. They searched high and low, but no one could find it.

"Maybe someone stole it?" she wondered aloud.

"I guess so," one of the girls replied.

Feeling defeated, she was about to go find Harold to ask Alf Thewlis for help when Loviyan called out to her.

"Roslin!"

She turned to see him approaching, holding her bracelet.

"Oh my god, thank you so much!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him in a grateful hug. "But how did you know my name?"

"I will write it on my forehead so you'd remember I can read minds," he joked, holding her shoulders.

"Oh my god, you always say that! Get off me!"

"How do you know my name?" he thought he cooked her.

"I don't know. I never called you by name."

"You haven't yet, right?" he felt like if he was hit by a thunder.

"What's your name?"

"Loviyan."

"Oh, that's the sweetest name I've ever heard!"

"Really? How about Kenzo?"

"Is that your middle name?"

"No."

"Then why do you ask?"

"I think that's the sweetest name I've ever heard."

"It's kind of giving bad vibes, anyway."

"I know."

"Tell me about your parents."

"My dad is a wizard, and my mom is a witch."

"Love…" She paused. "I won't tell you anything, then."

"Don't you have a nickname or anything? It's so uncomfortable calling you 'Love.'"

"Don't call me then."

"I'll call you Erold."

"What the—"

"It's my favorite name!"

"Crezen."

"Ew." she knows it's a part of his name.

"That's my middle name."

"Oh."

"Now call me by my full name."

"Okay."

"Say it."

"Loviyan." She giggled and fell against him. He laughed, too.

"Why don't you talk to them? It would make things easier. We don't know what they're going through, right?"

"I love my dad, but my mom won't talk to me when I'm with him."

"Oh."

"I will talk to them, but not now. I'm still mad."

"Where does your dad do for a living?"

"Nothing, he is already rich, mom used to work in Vallroxlock. Later she quit as she was pregnant with me"

"I heard that! My grandparents work there."

"Which side?"

"Mom's side. Dad's side… He's an orphan and was adopted by a witch."

"Oh."

"I thought I could see my grandparents' house and meet my grandma" she looked upset.

"That's fine. Don't feel bad about that, we can visit in a fortnight"

The next day, Roslin brought some food to eat while reading. Loviyan teased her, saying if she got his books dirty, he'd be upset. She playfully fed him while they read together.

"You'll like this."

"I won't."

"It's a tale of…" He pulled her into his lap. She smiled and focused on the book.

"What's its name?"

"Mer…" As she lifted her head towards him, her heart raced, and she lost her train of thought. Loviyan could hear her heartbeat as she looked back at the book, trying to ignore the fluttering feeling inside her.

"I'm tired of sitting; let's walk," she suggested.

He laughed. "You're tired of sitting?"

"Yes," she said, unable to meet his gaze for a moment.

"Let's go to work, then."

"I want to climb that tree!"

"No."

"We're already late!"

He slowly took the book from her, looked into her eyes, and held her hand, gently pulling her toward work. Her heart raced, and she couldn't help but smile.

"What did you do with that bracelet?"

"I kept it in my room."

"It might have powers. Did you read about that in the manual?"

"No."

Suddenly, Roslin spotted a frog and screamed. Loviyan laughed and playfully pushed her closer to it. She kept screaming, and he held her tightly, not allowing her to escape.

"I hate you!" she exclaimed, running away from him.

"Sorry! Wait!" he called out. But she didn't stop. As she turned to run, she stepped on a big stick, which rolled and caused her to slip.

He couldn't stop laughing but rushed over to help her. She remained emotionless, too embarrassed to speak.

"Don't talk to me," she said, avoiding his gaze.

"I won't. Get up." He extended his hand, and she took it, standing up.

They walked toward Crawdell, and suddenly she turned to ask if he had his wand. She caught him laughing, covering his face as if he were about to lose his breath.

She looked annoyed and walked away from him.

"Hey!" he called, grabbing her hand, but she tugged free, walking away in frustration.

As they worked, she noticed he was still smiling.

"Cut it out!" she said, trying to feign anger. Just then, Rosalia came close to Loviyan, asking if he wanted to take a sip of her love potion.

"Oh my god, woman, I'm working!" he replied, stepping away from her.

As he walked from Rosalia, she blocked his path, teasingly telling him he was "so kissable."

Roslin couldn't take it anymore. "Why are you doing this?"

"She offered me a love potion to try, but I ended up puking on her."

"And?"

"But she flirts with me all the time."

"You can say no!"

"Why should I?" he teased her to make her mad.

"Oh, you like her, then?"

"I never said that."

"Then why would you let her flirt with you?"

"So what?"

"No girl will ever think she wants to be with you if you keep someone like that around."

"As if I never thought about that."

"If I ever see my crush with someone like that, I will never see him the same way again."

"She's just a friend; she talks to me once in a blue moon."

"Oh."

Roslin remained silent the whole day. Loviyan wanted to talk, but she merely nodded and wouldn't respond. He suggested they meet somewhere, but she claimed she had work to do.

When she was leaving, he called after her, asking why she wasn't talking—was it because of Rosalia?

"Yes!" she snapped, walking away.

The next day at Crawdell, Loviyan purposely approached Rosalia, checking to see if Roslin was watching. She was wrapping a gift, but when she saw them together, she left her work and headed home. Loviyan followed her, calling her name.

As she crossed the river, he grabbed her hand, asking why she wouldn't talk to him.

"You have your friend Rosalia, right? Why do you need me anymore? I have my friend Doris."

"I'm asking her about the bracelet you were looking for the other day" he didn't leave her hand.

"Oh, really?" she mocked him.

He held her hand and kissed it softly. Roslin looked upset and apologized.

"That's fine," he smiled, leaning his forehead against hers.

She waved goodbye and started to leave. He walked quickly, holding her hand and pulling her close, asking if she-

Both got lost in the moment and pulled away. He looked down as his face turned red.

"I'd like to take you out tomorrow." he forcefully looked at her.

"I'll go home to choose a nice dress."

"Something pink with cute flowers, red lips, and that pearl chain." He suddenly looked embarrassed and turned to run away.

Roslin giggled as she went home, excitedly sorting through her things for tomorrow.

"Dad, I'm going out with someone!"

"I saw you talking to a guy; is it a date?"

"Yes."

"After a week, bring him to me. I'll talk to him."

She carefully arranged all her jewellery and things, accompanied by a cinnamon scent, preparing for her special evening.(FULL BOOK AVAILABLE IN AMAZON)
