One after another disasters hit my life I decided to to buy a big house in the middle of nowhere. Now I'm standing in front of my house well more like mansion that has just finished being revamped. It's perfect for me and my pets to be honest it's way too much but hey what can I say my life fell to shit but out of that I literally won the lottery. So now I'm the proud owner of a ten bedroom, five bathrooms, library, office, a art studio, media room and living room and that's just the in house joys. The outside I had an indoor pool and gym made with a pool house and a large green house and don't forget about the actual gardens. I had to get a fence around it all though so Typsy can't escape but the gates can lead right out in to the forest. It's fucking perfect I can work from home now and I don't have to deal with people like my ex or ex best friends who stabbed me in the back the first chance they got. They have truly broken my heart but it was funny when they found out I won billions on the lottery. They actually tried to crawl back to me but thankfully the security guys I hired in the city took care of them.
" are you sure about this living up here in the middle of nowhere alone" Jenny asks me worried.
" yeah you have done a great job setting this up and I won't be fully alone remember. I have Typsy and Bam with me. Then there is the help they should be here in a few days so we will be fine" I chuckle.
Jenny is the one who found this place for me we'd met a few years back before my accident and before my cheating ex screwed all my friends.
" are you sure you don't want me to stay until they arrive in don't mind really" she begs me as we drag my bags in.
" I might be slower now but I can still manage and I doubt anyone will get past her" I laugh as Typsy runs around exploring the house. I let Bam out of his carrier poor guy has been stuck in it all morning.
" nah you get your self home we will be fine. We are just going to relax and settle in like I said they will be here soon so even if something goes wrong I won't have long to wait until help gets here" I say giving her a hug.
" fine fine but I will be checking regarding on you don't make me worry and keep in touch. I will put your bags in your room and lock up on my way out you rest for a bit before you unpack it was a long journey." she sighs as she drags my bags up stairs for me.
I'm going to miss her she was the only one who stayed after the rest fled the moment I couldn't party or work like I used to. The joke is on them now I'm rich as hell and I get to do what I have always wanted to do write and paint as a living. Well it was a hobby really couldn't live off it but it gave me good pocket money now I have all the time in the world to have fun.
" right I'm off now don't want to be driving after dark take care and call me if you need anything" Jenny yells.
" will do thanks again for everything" I yells as I put the kettle on I hear the door closed behind her.
Waw she even filled the kitchen with everything I would like and some as I spot the chocolate orange cake in the fridge. I put the water and food down for the baby's. I grab my tea and cake and head straight to the sofa stripping down chill with the TV. Finally peace and quiet no noises from the city no weird smells coming through the windows and plenty of space for my pets. It's still a bit of a walk around the house but it's good to keep me moving for my therapy. After the car accident I was left with a damaged spine and leg it is healing but it will take a while to get working fully well I will always have a limp and pain. Looking out of the window I spot Typsy running around the garden. I guess she found the doggy door I think she likes our new home. Pulling my blanket on I settle down to watch some TV and finally relax. I must have fallen asleep as the sudden barking wakes me up. I put my pants and hoodie back on going to find Typsy barking at the door. I grab her collar and open the door.
And there he is a god of a man over 6ft muscles for days long dark hair and the most beautiful grey eyes. We just stand staring at each other until Typsy tried to jump the hunk.
" can I help you" I ask holding her tighter.
" oh yes Miss Ivy I'm Henry your new right hand man Dan's friend he told us that you were going to come earlier and well it didn't sit well with any of us you being here alone." he says with an awkward laugh.
" can I see your Id please or something to prove that you know him " I ask nervously. How the hell am I supposed to live with a sex god like him and be myself. He pulls his phone out of his pocket.
" I forgot Im supposed to call him once I arrived" he chuckles dialing Dan.
" hey are you there is she OK" Dan yells through the door making me chuckle that guy does not know how to talk normally unless he thinks we're in danger.
" yeah I'm here your on speaker phone now just need you to verify who I am" he laughs.
" right good Miss Ivy sorry for making them come early I know you said you wanted a few days to your self but I just don't want anything to happen so I got Henry to come early Blake and Jax will be there in the morning okay. This way we can all rest easily tonight okay cherry pie. " he chuckled awkwardly making me relax.
" thank you Dan and welcome Henry " I say patting Typsy so she knows everything is okay I let her go.
He hangs up without even saying goodbye another way of knowing he's the real person Dan always complains when he does that.
" please come in you can take any room you like. Would you like a drink or something to eat after your travels." I ask closing the door after him I watch as she jumps around him trying to get his attention.
" I'm good thanks have you been here long have you unpacked your belongings yet " he asks still ignoring the wrecking ball.
" yeah no. I got here just after lunch time and fell asleep while resting." I mutter not looking at him. I feel like I got caught not doing my homework or something.
" that's fine I'll go dump my bags and get them unpacked once I've done that I will make something for you to eat. Have you had a chance to look around yet. " he asks.
" okay and not yet"
" well you should have a walk around it will count as your PT for today and I will meet you in the green house with your tea" he says as he climbs up the stairs.
Well so much for a few days of peace and quiet with no pants.
