Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 : The Door That Should Never Open

After injecting his own blood plasma into Nagisa's body and confirming she was safe, Kojou proceeded to absorb his Beast Vassal from within her.

As Kojou extracted the Beast Vassal, it split into two—one part was the Beast Vassal itself, while the other was the lingering spirit of Avrora, still embedded in Nagisa's body. Kojou failed to notice this, too relieved after saving Nagisa to pay attention.

"Phew…"

After drinking Nagisa's blood, Kojou retracted his fangs and handed the unconscious girl to Diana. "Take care of her, Senpai."

"Of course. But what will you do now?" Diana asked worriedly, staring at Kojou's back as he walked toward Natsuki.

"I have something to settle before going home," Kojou said, stopping beside Natsuki—positioning himself so only she could see his darkened expression. "I think it's your turn, Natsuki-chan."

"…"

Natsuki stared into Kojou's shadowed face, his eyes brimming with murderous intent. She understood exactly what he wanted. With a flick of her wrist, a violet magic circle appeared beneath Diana and Nagisa, teleporting them back to the apartment.

"Where are the bastards who did this to Nagisa?" Kojou's voice was icy, his killing intent unmistakable.

"Kojou, this…" Natsuki hesitated, clearly wanting to dissuade him, but Kojou cut her off, placing a trembling hand on her shoulder.

"Please, Natsuki-chan," he said, hiding his face from her. In this moment, he resembled a true monster—his rage wouldn't subside until he slaughtered those responsible.

"…Fine." After a brief pause, Natsuki nodded and waved her hand. Three Beastmen—the same ones who'd tried to kidnap Diana earlier—materialized before them, already encased in unbreakable ice by Alrescha-Glacies.

"Thank you, Natsuki-chan." Kojou stepped toward the frozen Beastmen as the ice around them began melting—clearly his doing, having absorbed Alrescha-Glacies from Nagisa moments ago.

Natsuki said nothing, silently watching Kojou. She wouldn't stop him; this was a burden she'd bear alongside him.

"Where… are we?" One Beastman groaned, still disoriented. "Last thing I remember, we were attacking that bastard's little sister—"

"You're in hell."

A voice colder than the Arctic cut through the air, sending shivers down their spines. Its source was Kojou, glaring at them with eyes that promised agony.

"You—! That bastard from earlier?!" a Beastman snarled, though his bravado faltered. This wasn't the same man they'd faced before. Kojou's face was emotionless, his gaze so frigid it could freeze blood. His entire being radiated slaughter.

To the Beastmen, Kojou now resembled a vengeful spirit, craving retribution in the cruelest form.

"Resist all you want. I won't kill you quickly," Kojou said, standing over the trembling Beastmen. "I'll carve this terror into your souls so you never repeat this mistake in your next lives."

Violence had always been Kojou's solution—even before becoming the Fourth Primogenitor. Now, unchained by morality, he'd wield it mercilessly, branding fear into his enemies before ending them.

Natsuki watched without blinking. By human standards, this was wrong. Yet she didn't interfere. For Kojou to move forward, he had to become this demon—or risk being consumed by it later.

So she observed, bearing witness to his brutal, inhuman torture until the very end. This was her way of sharing his burden.

Three hours later.

"Are you okay?" Natsuki patted Kojou's back gently. After finishing the torture and execution, his sanity had returned—only to vomit at the grotesque scene he'd created. But he felt no regret. To survive from now on, he had to be ruthless. Otherwise, today's events would repeat.

"I'm fine. Thanks, Natsuki-chan." Kojou wiped his mouth and stood. "Can you send me back now?"

"No problem. But what about your little sister?" Natsuki asked seriously. "If you want, I can arrange for someone to alter her memories of today."

"That's…"

Kojou was tempted but shook his head. "I'll decline. I'll tell Nagisa everything, and we'll decide together how to move forward."

"I see. Then I'll send you back now." A violet magic circle flashed beneath Kojou, vanishing him from the room. Natsuki murmured to the empty hall, "You've grown stronger, Kojou."

With another wave, the Beastmen's corpses and blood disappeared as if they'd never existed. Then she, too, left.
