Allegra was a totally normal college girl in a perfectly abnormal world of faeries, werewolves, sorcerers, elves, gnomes, dwarfs, vampires and humans. Humans, of course being not at the top of the hierarchy and for a human to survive, one has to make sure to remain in the good books of the creatures in leadership, or better yet not be noticed by them at all. This is the lesson drilled into Allegra's head from the day she could understand words, and still for some reason she couldn't explain, she let herself be not only noticed by the Alpha King of the werewolf country they lived in, but she also challenged him at first meeting. Now, she has been summoned to the Alpha king's castle. Women are known to be summoned there for only two reasons; both of which she would rather not consider.

Allegra Hunch was about finishing her evening shift as a waitress at the local diner, a job she had taken about a year ago and has to constantly remind herself everyday why she still works there is for the sake of her tuition and college fees, when a group of hefty men stalked into the diner like the owned the place. Seeing as they were currently short staffed, her manager, Karen asked her to please stay back and serve their table. So much for having her one free night of full eight hours sleep.
"Good evening, gentlemen, welcome to Marie's diner" she droned on without emotion, not looking up from her serving tablet, as she waited on the men at the table they occupied. That is if they were even men, because even in their seated position they were as tall as her, and she wasn't exactly a short person; she is of a perfectly average height.
"How may we serve you today? Please take a look at the menu for tonight on your table tab and make your order" she continued her droning, not minding that she sounded like a record set to play; robotic even, her chin raised towards the tablet screen etched into the table already displaying the menu at the last part of her sentence. She was already exhausted as it was and had no interest in playing the warm, cheerful waitress tonight, especially to the very customers that extended her night shift.
"I would like water for now" one of the four men said, this one with light brown hair, blue eyes, chiseled jawline and a very attractive face that almost left Allegra speechless, in fact, now that she did look up all four men were very attractive and hot. She tried to remember how she had looked the last time she checked her appearance with the mirror at the back employee's room; she had looked tired, exhausted with bags under her eyes from lots of sleepless nights spent working and studying, her hair was also messy, her lips dry, her waitress uniform sporting a couple of unexplainable stains here and there. In short, she looked her most unpresentable, and of all nights to do so, it just had to be tonight when she has to attend to walking Greek gods.
Then on a second thought, these men give off a powerful intimidating aura. They are definitely not human. They may be werewolves perhaps seeing as this is a werewolf country. If they are actually werewolves as she suspects, then she has to be careful with them. Her parents taught her and her siblings two major lessons about the super beings (as the werewolves, vampires, elves and faeries were normally called); one, don't get noticed by them and two, don't get in their bad books. She may have already broken rule one by getting noticed by them, though it's not her fault as she has to serve them. But then again this is mostly human settlement, the werewolves rarely ever come to this part of town, much less to come and eat at the run-down diner on her school campus where she works.
"Um, earth to waitress" another of the men, sorry male werewolf, said. This one having blond hair and blue eyes.
"Yes?" she blinked coming back to her present reality. "Yeah, yeah, got it. Water. Anyone want anything else?" she asked, her behavior now less cold waitress as she even flashed them a warm smile, faux but not noticeably so.
"Make that, four bottles of water" the blond said
