Chapter 2 - Rule Number Two 2

"And sweet buns" Another said. This one looked younger and had jet black hair and grey eyes, and was somehow more good looking than the others "I heard they serve really nice buns here" he said to her with a wink which made her feel like his words had another meaning to it, but she wasn't sure.

"Alright. Four glasses of water and buns" she said jotting down on her tab.

"Bottles" blondie corrected

"Right" she nodded, correcting the order on her tab

"Gross, Grayson" the one who spoke first said to the younger one, "How would you want to eat from a place like this" he moved his eyes around pointedly, with a disgusted look on his face. Allegra decided immediately that she didn't like that one. So what if the diner is no five-star eatery, probably not even a two star one, it still didn't give him the right to talk so down on the place and their food has never been known to give anyone health issues, major ones, that is.

"Just the water please, thank you" the blond one said, dismissing her. She nodded and was about to turn around to go get their order when out of the corner of her eye she saw the fourth one who was yet to speak, having black hair and black eyes, lean in and say lowly to the others, "Where is he? I thought he was the one who suggested we meet here"

"I wonder too; I am getting sick of sitting in this disgusting commoners joint" the one who spoke first having light brown hair chimed in.

"Calm down, Siht, Arial, I am sure he would be here soon" blondie reassured the others.

So they are waiting for someone, for a meeting.

She didn't hang around wondering which was Arial and which was Siht as she rushed into the kitchen to get their orders.

"Thank you so much for staying back, Allegra" her manager, Karen, was saying as she came up to her the moment she entered the kitchen. "You can go home now, the family Sandy was serving has gone, so she can take it from here while you go home"

"What? No, no, that's not necessary" she herself saying without thinking, surprising both herself and her manager. 'What the heck am I saying, of course I want to go home', she thought. Before she could rectify her mistake however, Karen was already thanking her and saying what a sweet soul she was. Dang it!

"I guess I will just take their order to them then" she said, seeing that there is no way out of what she had put herself into she might as well just get on with it fast.

After the conversation with Karen and a few lines with other coworkers, she somehow missed up the order and got four glasses of water on a tray rather than four bottles. With her tray in hand she rushed out back to the table she was serving. Seeing as she had already wasted enough time, she was in a hurry so as not to get on their bad side and break rule number two.

In her haste, Allegra didn't know how she bumped into someone and sent her tray flying, spilling water onto the huge man blocking her path. Everything happened so fast, and she thought that's another utensil loss coming out of her paycheck this week as she waited to hear the tray clang as it collides with the floor. But she didn't. For her path blocker had pretty good reflex and caught the tray and its contents, though he couldn't stop the water from spilling onto him which left his front drenched, his light black top underneath his jacket now clinging to his body revealing his defined chest and abs to her.

She hopped she wasn't drooling, because this man was built! She raised up her eyes, chancing a look to his face and she wasn't disappointed. Never in all her twenty-one years had she seen a face so perfect, a man so breathtakingly hot, good looking, attractive; take your pick of adjective. The man is simply absolutely sexy, dark and alluring with dark hair and red eyes.

Wait, red eyes? Shit, he is also not human. How many werewolves would she encounter in one night?
