Chapter 2 - Transmigrated

Rein felt a sense of vertigo as he came to. He had felt his body was in a weird state, he could feel himself moving at dizzying speed while still being still.

It was like being in a car with a jet engine. The feeling persisted for a while before it ended. Rein steadied his focus and looked around cautiously to determine where he was; his mouth couldn't help but drop open.

He was standing atop a massive hill of waves and waves of golden items. Everywhere in his sight he could see glittering metals and shiny crystals, he could see goblets that exuded ancient magical glows, swords that shone with sharp lights, necklaces that emitted dark sinister glows and ominous tomes.

They were all piled up into a mountain and atop the mountain lay a melted golden platform. This was where Rein was standing, in the platform where Rein was standing were a couple of things.

They seemed to be more valuable than the shinnies. They attracted Rein's attention, who couldn't help but be curious.

Under the glow of various gems, he could see that they were only a few. He wondered what could be more valuable than gold and gems.

Rein curiously moved to pick up a dark gem and a cool looking sword.

Suddenly, he heard a panicked, regal, feminine voice in his head, "Oh no. Don't touch anything!"

she uttered some choice curse words Rein felt shouldn't be said by such a regal voice. "Don't touch anything, you already did?"

Rein had a million questions at the moment. He finally had the presence of mind to wonder what the fuck was happening?

He wondered why he was hearing voices, especially sexy empress like voices. Why he was not dead? And finally why he appeared in a place that looked like a dragon's den?

Rein felt his body stiffen as a mighty pressure suddenly engulfed the entire den, it pressed down on his entire body and soul/ he couldn't help but feel like a mouse meeting a cat.

He heard the sound of tinkling crystal and clink of metals as if they were flowing downhill. He cranked his neck up slowly to trace the source and saw something that made goosebumps rise all over his body.

A head the size of a hill reared up menacingly, almost touching the roof of the cavern. It then lowered till it was even with the platform.

A cold sweat rose up all over his body as a massive reptilian eye swerved in his direction, observing him with a detached glint. Rein could see in the dim light the majestic vision and shiny scales of a creature he had never in his entire life thought he would meet "D..Draa…Dragon."

In his head the feminine voice was frantically muttering "wait, wait, wait" as if she was doing something in the background

Rein wanted to shout out that even if he wanted to run for his life he couldn't move an inch. His body had frozen like a deer in headlights the moment the grim visage of the dragon had appeared.

The dragon regarded Wu Tian curiously, the way he had regarded an ant that crossed his path. The slitted pupils moved and focused on his hands, on the items Rein still held.

Rein followed the dragon's eye and saw the items he had picked up from the ground. He tried to drop them but his hands had locked up, he made an apologetic smile at the dragon. Trying for peace "Sorry?"

Furious wrath rose in the dragon's eyes as it raised it's head and let out a furious roar that reverberated throughout the cavern; the sound echoed, mighty and amazing and Rein felt his ears ring. He could feel his body vibrate and his heart resonate.

He felt that if that sound had been directed at him, he would probably explored. The dragon focused on Reina and raised a house sized claw, swiping at him.

Rein felt that he finally knew the smell of death as he saw the massive claw come at him, he wanted to curse the feminine voice for bringing him to a dragon's den. He really felt that that this day was really full of grievances.

First he had been hit by a meteorite then when he miraculously survived that he met a fu*king dragon? Just as he was about to close his eyes to accept death, He heard the feminine voice say "Finally!"

Without so much as a whoosh, Rein disappeared from the platform just as the dragon's claw pounded on the platform.

It had controlled its strength not to damage the platform, unwilling to harm its possessions.

The dragon withdrew the claw and inspected it to look for the smear of the human thief bit it couldn't find it. it hadn't felt pop of a crushed human.

The dragon stretched out its senses to find Rein and felt the subtle ripples of space. It moved to rip it open and follow the intruders but the ripples were too subtle, it couldn't follow them.

Knowing that the thief had gotten away with two of its most precious treasure, the dragon roared angrily.

This time its voice caused trembles in space, infused with overwhelming might and a wrathful will. All the living beings near the dragon's base immediately started to move away. Feeling the dragon's wrath.

The dragon dragged its body away from the den, shooting up to the sky and a rapid speed that belied its huge body. It was going to vent its wrath on the surrounding human kingdoms.
