Chapter 41 The posture of entering the water is too beautiful
Lin Yuan stared at the BOSSes before him, trembling with fear. These were far beyond his current capabilities.
"So many powerful beings have entered Earth, and even the old boss hasn't noticed!"
Just as Lin Yuan was lamenting the boss's incompetence, the system's voice chimed in.
"Ding, host, are you being deliberately obtuse? What nonsense are you spouting?"
Lin Yuan was frantic, flapping his wings and pointing at the various BOSSes in front of him, yelling, "You damn system, are you blind? Can't you see all these BOSSes right here? Look, that Deathwing is still roaring at me!"
"Ding, host, these are all figments of your imagination!" The system's voice sounded a bit strange, as if it were suppressing laughter.
"Is it because you ate uncooked mushrooms?"
"Impossible, absolutely impossible! I have the Antidote skill; I'm immune to poisons!"
Lin Yuan denied it firmly and confidently!
"Ding, host, I didn't say you were poisoned. I simply stated that you consumed uncooked mushrooms!"
"What's the difference?"
"Ding, host, how can mushrooms be poisonous? They are merely not cooked properly."
"Fuck, system, you must be from Cainan, right?"
Realizing that his hallucinations were due to eating uncooked mushrooms, Lin Yuan fell silent. He glanced at the bizarre, dancing demons before him and decided to fly back with his eyes closed.
After all, if he couldn't see them, it meant they didn't exist, and therefore, he had nothing to fear.
Moreover, he was flying at a considerable altitude, so even if a plane approached, he would still have enough time to dodge after hearing the engine and opening his eyes!
After several hours of slow, eyes-closed flight, Lin Yuan finally opened his eyes and looked ahead.
"Phew~~~~!" Lin Yuan breathed a sigh of relief. "Thankfully, I've finally recovered. Otherwise, my poor little heart couldn't have handled such a thrilling spectacle! Hmm~ where am I?"
Lin Yuan looked down from the air and saw a bustling city below, brightly lit as if it were daytime.
Lin Yuan descended, preparing to go down and figure out his location.
As his altitude decreased, Lin Yuan suddenly noticed that on a busy street below, cars were being hurled aside by some immense force, crashing into roadside buildings and exploding. Fires were erupting everywhere, and people on the street were screaming and fleeing in terror.
"Something's happening!"
Lin Yuan quickened his pace, and as he drew closer, he finally saw that the source of that power was a giant with terrifying muscles covering his entire body!
"Damn! It's him! So Banner must be nearby too."
Lin Yuan looked at the giant on the ground, muttered to himself, then glanced up and saw a helicopter in the sky nearby.
"That must be them! That old man should be General Ross. Tsk tsk tsk, Banner is so lucky; Betty Ross is a real beauty!"
Lin Yuan's eagle eyesight was exceptional, and he could clearly see the three people inside the helicopter at a glance!
But now wasn't the time to observe them. The crazed and destructive Abomination below was the most pressing issue.
"With my current small size, if I get hit by the Abomination, I'll probably be sent flying miles! I can't stop him! Alas~~"
"Let's try to lure this guy to an open area first. The crowd is too dense here. If Hulk shows up and fights this guy, this whole block will be demolished!"
Lin Yuan scratched his head and decided to lead the Abomination away.
"I should call Coulson first and ask him to find a way to communicate with General Ross. Just tell them not to interfere with me!"
Lin Yuan took out his phone and called Coulson.
"Hey, Coulson, I've got a situation here. It's related to General Ross. Yes, yes, yes, please help me contact General Ross and tell them not to hinder me. I'm going to lead that creature to the nearby Central Park; there are fewer people there! Okay, okay, hold on tight, I'm taking action right away!"
Lin Yuan had just spotted Central Park. It was spacious and relatively empty, with lush vegetation that would provide easy escape routes.

Lin Yuan first swooped down and delivered a sharp peck to the Abomination's head, then hovered in front of him, extended a wing in a rude gesture, and finally transformed into a panda, letting out a challenging roar.

The Abomination was rampaging through the street, smashing cars and destroying everything in his path, hoping to draw out the Hulk for a fight!
Then, he was struck on the head by a strange giant bird. The bird had even… flipped him off? He was very curious how a bird could manage that with its wing.
Then, right before his eyes, the bird transformed into a panda. Yes, he rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't mistaken; it was indeed a panda.
Then he heard the panda roar at him, and suddenly, his entire world narrowed.
The only thing that mattered now was the panda in front of him, and he was determined to tear it to shreds.
"Roar~~~~" With a thunderous bellow, the Abomination grabbed a nearby car and hurled it at the panda!
Lin Yuan the panda was startled and quickly transformed back into a roc to evade the incoming vehicle. The car whizzed past his body and slammed into another car behind him. A loud "boom" echoed as flames erupted everywhere!
"Fuck, so violent! If I get caught, I'll probably be ripped to pieces! Horrifying, horrifying! Time to get out of here!"
Lin Yuan began to lure the Abomination towards Central Park. He didn't dare to fly too high for fear of losing the creature, so he had to maintain a low altitude.
The Abomination was leaping between the various tall buildings, his eyes fixated on the large bird in front of him. He didn't understand why the damn panda had turned back into a bird, but whether it was the panda or the bird, he was going to tear it apart.
And the most infuriating thing was this bird! It was taunting him while flying: "Oh, so close! Come on, you can do it! Oh, if you jump just a little higher, you can catch me! Keep trying, dear!"
The Abomination now felt that whether or not the Hulk showed up was irrelevant. If he didn't kill that annoying bird in front of him, he wouldn't be able to think straight!
Soon, he seized a moment when the bird seemed distracted, unleashed all his strength, and leaped onto the bird's head, delivering a powerful punch to its face. Although the bird transformed back into a panda upon impact, the feeling of hitting the panda was even more satisfying.
A surge of exhilaration rushed through the Abomination, and he couldn't help but bellow!
"It feels so good~~!!!"
Lin Yuan successfully lured the Abomination into Central Park. As expected, the area was vast and relatively empty, the few homeless individuals having long since fled in terror.
Turning his head to look at the helicopter following not far behind, Lin Yuan finally felt relieved. His part was done; the next step was up to the Hulk!
Suddenly, Lin Yuan felt the moonlight being blocked by a massive black shadow.
"Fuck!" Lin Yuan looked up in horror at the Abomination looming directly above him. The enormous fist grew larger and larger in his vision.
"Don't hit me in the face!" Lin Yuan screamed, transforming into a panda mid-air, and then was brutally struck in the face by a disgusting punch!
Lin Yuan's panda face was grotesquely deformed, saliva flying through the air. His entire body spun violently as he was launched like a cannonball into the large lake in the park, creating enormous splashes of water.
Water entry: 0 points!
The Abomination landed heavily at the edge of the lake, watched the gradually calming water surface, then raised his head and let out a triumphant roar!
Chapter 42 Goodbye!
At the bottom of the lake, Lin Yuan, in his aquatic form, quietly observed the Abomination standing on the shore, roaring incessantly.
"Fuck, I really can't be so reckless. Luckily my magic is powerful enough, or else I would be disfigured after taking a punch like that to the face!"
"Now it's up to Hulk. If he's not an idiot, he should be coming down any minute now!"
Just as the thought crossed his mind, he saw a figure plummeting from the sky, hitting the water with a soft "plop," and then slowly sinking.
Lin Yuan unconsciously recoiled, gritting his teeth and touching his nose. "That looks incredibly painful! Banner is such a brave soul!"
Then, the slowly sinking figure began to swell. His skin gradually turned green, and his clothes were ripped to shreds by his expanding muscles. Only his underwear remained stubbornly in place!
"Hao~Gulu~Gulu~K~~~!"
Lin Yuan covered his eyes, too embarrassed to watch. This idiot Hulk, stop shouting underwater! It doesn't sound intimidating at all!
Hulk had sunk to the lakebed. He pushed off with his feet, and the bottom of the lake erupted like a miniature underwater volcano. Hulk shot out of the water like a green missile.
The Abomination by the lake, pleased that he had taken down the annoying bird with a single punch, then witnessed a violent explosion on the lake's surface and a green behemoth leaping out.
"Hulk!" The Abomination was suddenly ecstatic. Today was turning out to be a good day. He had just dealt with that pesky bird, and now Hulk had conveniently arrived for another round.
Hulk landed at the water's edge and glared at the Abomination before him.
The two ferocious giants locked eyes, like long-lost lovers finally reunited.
Suddenly, they both moved simultaneously, charging towards each other as if to release their pent-up emotions. They began exchanging passionate blows, each punch carrying unparalleled power and speed.
The two figures collided, fists flying, accompanied by dull thuds. Wherever their fists landed, trees and park fixtures were pulverized. The roaring sounds were incessant, and the entire Central Park seemed to be under artillery fire!
Lin Yuan, now airborne, looked down at the devastated Central Park and couldn't help but click his tongue. "Wow! The destructive power of these two is truly terrifying. If this fight had broken out in the city, I can't imagine how many people would have died!"
The battle raged on, but Hulk gradually found himself at a disadvantage. After all, the Abomination's original form was that of a highly trained soldier. His combat awareness and fighting skills were far superior to Hulk's, who relied solely on brute instinct.
Soon, Hulk was pinned against a large rock by the Abomination. The sharp spikes on the Abomination's elbows pressed against Hulk's chest, slowly piercing his skin. Hulk roared in agony as blood began to seep out!
The concerned Betty, watching from the helicopter, saw Hulk on the verge of defeat. She cried out and tried to jump from the helicopter, but the others inside pulled her back!
This time, General Ross had apparently heeded S.H.I.E.L.D.'s advice and refrained from interfering, so the Abomination had no opportunity to target the helicopter. Consequently, Hulk wouldn't experience the surge of power fueled by Betty's endangerment!
Lin Yuan watched Hulk's perilous situation and sighed. I have to intervene!
But how?
Against the Abomination's immense power, his giant bear form was as fragile as an onion. Defeating the Abomination in that form was impossible!
As things stood, the only way to defeat the Abomination was with Hulk's own strength.
He could buff Hulk, but his buffs primarily focused on protection and healing, both of which Hulk already possessed in abundance, diminishing their effectiveness.
"What a pity! Savage Blessing isn't ready yet. If I could give Hulk that, he'd be unstoppable!"
Lin Yuan scrolled through his skill list, a sense of regret washing over him.
Suddenly, he noticed a skill he had almost forgotten: Rage.
Rage was originally the Druid's primary damage-dealing skill, but after the dog system's "optimization," it had become a skill solely capable of enraging the target.
Generally, making someone angry was useless, except perhaps for causing them to lose their composure.
But Hulk was different. The Hulk's defining characteristic was that the angrier he became, the stronger he grew, an effect that could stack infinitely!
It could be said that anger was Hulk's exclusive buff skill!
Lin Yuan was surprised and quickly flew down, hiding behind a large tree and reverting to his human form. Then, he unleashed his Rage skill, targeting Hulk.
Hulk, who was being suppressed by the Abomination and whose chest was about to be pierced, was initially stunned. Then, his eyes rapidly turned a furious red, and he let out a deafening roar. His muscles bulged, and his entire body grew at least three times larger.
With his left hand, he pried open the Abomination's left hand. With his right, he gripped the Abomination's spiked elbow and slowly, agonizingly, pushed out the spike that had pierced his chest.
The Abomination's face was a mask of shock, but no matter how hard he struggled, Hulk inexorably forced his hands apart!
Then, Hulk delivered a brutal headbutt to the Abomination, throwing him off balance.
Hulk followed up with a violent swing of his fist, smashing it into the Abomination's hideous and distorted face, sending him flying.
Hulk kicked off the ground with tremendous force and hurtled towards the Abomination like a green cannonball.
He relentlessly pursued the reeling figure, each punch fueled by boundless rage and power. The Abomination tumbled through the air, desperately trying to evade Hulk's attacks, but there was no escape.
Hulk's fists rained down on the Abomination's body like hailstones, producing a series of sickening thuds.
The Abomination's body was repeatedly slammed backward, each heavy blow causing excruciating pain.
He tried to retaliate, but the enraged Hulk was too fast and too powerful, leaving him no opportunity whatsoever.
"As expected, I'm still no match for Hulk?"
Before the Abomination could even finish his internal lament, Hulk was upon him again, delivering a powerful uppercut that sent him soaring into the air. With another massive leap, Hulk's figure appeared above him, and he brought his fist down with crushing force on the Abomination's face. The Abomination was knocked unconscious and spiraled downwards into the lake.
Water entry: 0 points.
Lin Yuan, who had been watching the spectacle from a safe distance, shouted excitedly, "Yes! That's how you do it! Awesome!"
After Hulk landed, his scarlet eyes locked onto Lin Yuan, who was still observing the aftermath.
Lin Yuan's triumphant smile instantly froze. He thought to himself, "Oh no, this isn't good!"
Sure enough, Hulk began charging directly towards him, smashing through any trees that stood in his way!
Lin Yuan was nearly paralyzed with fear and hurriedly tried to stop him.
"Hey, hey, hey, Hulk! We're on the same side! I just helped you!"
Hulk didn't even slow down. Lin Yuan panicked slightly and released his Entangling Roots skill to impede the giant's progress.
The tangled roots wrapped around Hulk's massive feet, and with a loud "bang," Hulk tripped and fell face-first onto the ground!
Hulk pushed himself up with his hands and raised his head. A trickle of blood flowed from his nose and dripped onto the ground.
The look in his eyes as he glared at Lin Yuan became even more ferocious!
Lin Yuan exploded with indignation, pointing at Hulk and yelling, "Are you trying to scam me?! The Abomination hit you countless times, and your face didn't even get a scratch! Now you fall like that and get a nosebleed? That's bullshit! What am I even looking at? I'm not taking the blame for this!"
Hulk slowly rose to his feet, completely ignoring Lin Yuan's insults, and lunged towards Lin Yuan with his fists clenched!
"Brother, brother Hulk, I was wrong! We're on the same team! Please don't come any closer~"
Lin Yuan watched the Hulk getting closer and closer and quickly begged for mercy. Halfway through his pleas, he suddenly remembered something.
"Fuck! I can fly! Why would I be afraid of you?!"
With that, he gave Hulk a defiant middle finger and transformed into his flying form!
"I won't be keeping you company any longer! Bye-bye!!"
Chapter 43 It's Absolutely Impossible to Be Poisonous
After Lin Yuan Dapeng taunted Hulk, he was just about to take off and head home!
Suddenly, he felt his claws sink. He looked down and saw a green human face grinning evilly at him!
"Fuck!" Lin Yuan screamed.
Hulk grabbed Lin Yuan and plummeted to the ground, then raised the large bird in his hand and held it in front of his eyes.
Lin Yuan was hanging upside down, looking at Hulk with a forced, flattering smile on his bird face. "Well, Hulk, if I were to say that the middle finger gesture actually represents friendship in my culture, would you believe me?"
Hulk remained silent, his grin widening. Lin Yuan suddenly felt a sense of foreboding and instantly transformed into a panda!
Sure enough~~ the sound of "pa~pa~pa" echoed through the air!
Hulk didn't care whether it was a bird or a panda in his grasp. He swung Lin Yuan around, slamming him against the ground repeatedly before finally tossing him aside.
Hulk glanced up at the helicopter hovering not far above, a flicker of reluctance in his eyes, and then he disappeared into the distance with a series of powerful leaps!
Lin Yuan the panda lay sprawled on the ground, a few glistening tears welling up in the corners of his eyes!
"Wow, why am I always the unlucky one! Loki, please hurry up and come! I don't want to work overtime for you again. This is the second time! What an injustice!~~~"
Seeing that the Abomination was defeated and Hulk had departed, General Ross quickly instructed his men outside the park to enter and begin cleaning up the extensive damage.
After the helicopter landed, Ross ordered his men to secure the Abomination and then brought Betty over to Lin Yuan.
Looking at the panda lying on the ground, Betty's lingering sadness dissipated. She gently poked the panda and asked softly, "Hey, are you alright?"
Lin Yuan didn't feel like talking and simply raised a paw to indicate that he was fine.
General Ross observed the panda on the ground, a thought forming in his mind about whether he should take this boy with the ability to transform into custody. He wondered if the boy's abilities could be beneficial to his super-soldier serum research. He didn't know Lin Yuan personally, but he knew from S.H.I.E.L.D. that a person with special powers would assist in dealing with the Abomination and had been asked not to interfere. He had witnessed the young man transform into a bird and a panda and remain unharmed even after being tossed around by Hulk like a ragdoll. This ability and resilience were no less impressive than that of a super-soldier!
Lin Yuan lay on the ground, observing the old man before him. The man had bulging muscles and wore a military uniform, a quintessential tough guy. Lin Yuan only knew of General Ross from movies in his previous life, where he was portrayed as a persistent antagonist always targeting the Hulk.
But after truly arriving in this world and meeting Banner, Hulk, and Betty, he felt that General Ross wasn't inherently a bad person.
Just imagine your daughter being involved with a volatile, unstable individual who couldn't guarantee her happiness. Which father wouldn't be concerned?
For this reason alone, Lin Yuan could understand Ross's perspective. However, understanding didn't equate to siding with Ross. After all, Ross bore partial responsibility for the Hulk's creation, and there was something about the way the old man was looking at him that made Lin Yuan uneasy.
Lin Yuan became wary. If this old man dared to try and exploit him, he would definitely give him a sound thrashing to demonstrate that Chi You's mount was not to be trifled with.
Just as he was on guard, he suddenly heard a familiar whoosh of flames from the air. Lin Yuan looked up and saw that it was indeed his brother Tony.
Tony, clad in his Mark VI armor, landed gracefully and looked at Lin Yuan on the ground. "Lin, are you alright?"
Lin Yuan got up, transformed into human form, and shook his head at Tony. "I'm fine, Brother Tony. What brings you here?"
"Coulson informed me there were some issues here, and knowing you were involved, I came to check it out. It seems I arrived just in time!"
Tony said, casting a pointed glance at General Ross.
General Ross offered an awkward smile and greeted Tony.
Tony walked up to General Ross, pointed at Lin Yuan, and said firmly, "That's my brother. You are not to lay a hand on him. And frankly, I don't believe your super-soldier project will ever succeed. I told you a long time ago that it was terminated for a reason!"
Tony gestured to his armor. "I still maintain that hardware is far more reliable!"
General Ross smiled wryly and remained silent.
Tony then added, "We're forming a team, and Hulk is one of our targets!"
Without waiting for General Ross to respond, Tony turned to Lin Yuan and said, "Lin, let's go home!"
"Okay, Tony!"
The man and the 'bird' paid no attention to General Ross's reaction, simply taking off and disappearing into the night sky.
General Ross was left staring at their departing figures, lost in thought.
In the air!
"Lin, why did you get involved in that mess?!"
"Oh, don't even mention it, Tony. I just happened to be passing by. I saw that big guy causing trouble down there, so I thought I'd try to lure him away."
"Next time, stay out of situations like that. The waters there are very deep!"
"Okay, Tony!"
"Did you have a good time at your home this time?"
"Of course, I did! Tony, I ate so much delicious food that I've been wanting to try. I even brought some back. I'll cook it for you and Pepper when we get home. It's a very famous southern delicacy from my homeland!"
"Really? I'm looking forward to it!"
Back at the villa, Lin Yuan carried a bag of mushrooms into the kitchen.
Pepper watched Lin Yuan enter and asked Tony with a hint of worry, "Tony, I think what Lin mentioned were mushrooms, many of which I've never seen before. Are you sure it's safe?"
Tony spread his hands helplessly. "I honestly don't know either. He said he ate them at his home and they were delicious, so he brought some back for us to try. Pepper, we can't undermine the kid's enthusiasm. Don't worry, with Lin's abilities, he can probably handle it even if they are poisonous!"
Tony had a great deal of confidence in Lin Yuan in such matters.
Lin Yuan busied himself in the kitchen for a full hour, finally preparing the mushrooms and bringing them out.
Tony and Pepper looked at the plate of mushrooms before them and fell silent.
"Lin, are you absolutely sure these are safe to eat?" Pepper picked up a piece, still slightly apprehensive.
"Don't worry, Miss Pepper! They are absolutely edible and incredibly delicious. Come on, try some!"
Lin Yuan took the lead and popped a piece into his mouth. Hmm~ delicious! Although not quite as amazing as the ones he had at the restaurant, they were still very good.
Seeing Lin Yuan eat, Pepper also picked up a piece and tasted it. Her eyes widened, and she exclaimed in surprise, "Wow, it's so fresh! It really is delicious! I've never had mushrooms like this before!"
Tony also took a piece and savored it, his eyes lighting up. "It's really good! Delicious!"
The three of them quickly devoured the entire plate of mushrooms, taking turns with their chopsticks.
After eating, they sat on the sofa and chatted, mainly Lin Yuan recounting his experiences and observations from his visit home.

Jarvis: "Sir, I do not detect any biological entities in this vicinity other than the three of you."

Silence. Utter silence.
After a long while, Tony spoke with difficulty. "Lin, are you absolutely sure the mushrooms we just ate weren't poisonous?"
Lin Yuan replied firmly, "Mushrooms can't be poisonous! Maybe~ maybe I just didn't cook them thoroughly enough!"
...
