She said in a panicked voice, but as she made to move away, he pulled her back, causing her to crash into his chest. "Tell her what? That we kissed and made out." Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Reckless Night's Affair

He kissed her and whispered longing words to her as he took her for the first time. But she was not bothered. This was not what she had expected romance to be like, and trying it for the first time with this stranger felt so perfect.

Eila suddenly got bold, blossoming under him and filling herself with this stranger whose face was still blurry in her drunken state.

He had called her beautiful, a term that had always been separated from her all her life. But he had sincerely called her beautiful, said she was exceptional, and made her feel special.

All the same, Eila didn't want to let go. She couldn't let go of his strong body, loving its feel beneath her small hands. He was very gentle with her, as though she were a treasured gift that was very fragile.

But the situation was different. Eila didn't let any of that cross her mind. For the best she knew, this might just be another dream like the others, and she would wake up with great longing and hating herself for imagining being with a man when she had a lot of things to worry about.

However, when the sun touched the earth, bringing alongside its extreme brightness, Eila got the biggest shock of her life. Last night had indeed happened and it had not been her imagination after all.

The first word that slipped out of Eila's lips was, "Oh shit." This was immediately she caught sight of the man sleeping beside her, naked and comfortable. Worst still, that man was Dylan fucking Logan.

Eila's breath hitched, and her hand flew to her mouth to keep back the surprised sound from coming through.

The events from the night before had not been a dream after all. She had given her first time to the Campus whore.

Eila raised her palm and slapped her face for being so reckless.

"This is a dream; it has to be a dream." She muttered to herself in despair. But when she stole another glance at his sleeping figure, her heart skipped a beat.

Eila forced herself to be calm and think about how she had ended up with him.

She remembered closing up on her evening shift at the Supermarket she worked at after classes. But then she received another heartbreaking call, her mom had done drugs again, and her sisters needed money for their tuition fees.

Maybe that was what broke her, she felt terrible. She also had a pile of bills to settle including her rent, and all she had managed to save up were just a few bucks.

She had wished she could forget for just one night, she wanted to unwind and let go of the troubles which had started to seem impossible for her to handle, even if it was for a minute.

Maybe that was why she offered to join her roommates at the party. The offer had been as shocking to her roommates as it should have been for anyone else who heard her request. She was never the party type, she never had time to think about things like parties or boys.

She had wanted to have a taste of what relationship and love felt like, but it was just too costly for her to try out. Furthermore, it always seemed no one wanted her, or more still no one really noticed her. She was just that plain and invisible, always running from class to work, and work to class, barely reserving time to sleep or study. It was all about survival, but for her, survival meant a lot more than it did to average people.

But when she wore the red dress her roommate had given her, she felt different. Hell, she looked different in an uncomfortable way.

The dress had been too short and strange on her. She had always preferred pants, they were very easy, but that dress felt too wrong on her body.

She however decided it didn't matter, she was willing to feel like a different person even if it was for a single night.

The boys hadn't noticed her or so she thought as she stood awkwardly by the entrance, gazing at the sweaty dancers who filled the room.

The music was just too loud, as it blasted from the speakers, filling the room, almost shaking it with its jazzy vibration.

She'd continuously dragged her dress to bring it down, but the dress kept lifting on its own accord, making her look extremely weird. When she looked around, she couldn't find Mina and Joyce, her roommates.

It felt like she had been left alone again, and suddenly, she became self-conscious. She began to feel out of place and so inferior to the rest of the dashing-looking people. Then, she wanted to leave, but she had driven here with Mina and Joyce, and she still couldn't find them.

A waiter passed and handed her a glass of drink with a cold expression, which made her feel even more inferior and unwanted.

She took a deep breath to calm herself, reminding herself that she came here to forget, and not to keep all her problems still lined up in her mind.

It was after this thought that she had taken a sip of the drink and yelped from disgust. The drink tasted and smelled horrible.

She had never had alcohol in her life, especially not when she had seen what things like this did to her mother, but right now, she had no choice.

Closing her nose with two fingers, she gulped down the remaining drink, letting it burn down her throat with its terrible bitter taste.

"Eilabella, is that you." Someone said to her surprise.

Eila tensed up at the sound of her name. The only person who called her name in full was...

"Sky....." She gulped awkwardly, "What are you doing here?" She managed to ask, her fingers trembling as she gently hid them from view.

But Skyler was scanning her dress with a look she couldn't explain, and she felt exposed.

He finally looked up at her with a smile, as he responded, "I think I should be asking you that. This is my friend's party. You look different." He said the final statement, scanning her dressing up to down briefly.

Eila's hold on her glass tightened as she felt herself fidgeting.

Skyler was her only crush, the only guy who had managed to steal her heart without doing much. Maybe it was because he was the only guy who talked to her in school.

He was always very kind and understanding, very different from other rich folks like Dylan Logan, who she heard was once his best friend, but they suddenly became enemies.

Before she could respond, she spotted Dylan Logan walking past them, and as expected none of them spared each other even a single glance. Dylan was surrounded by a group of ladies, and his dimples were widely showing as he grinned at something one of the ladies was whispering to him.

She still couldn't explain why she disliked him. He was like the direct opposite of herself, he got all the ladies he wanted and was popular, handsome, smart, and extremely wealthy, while she, unfortunately, had the direct opposite.

The next moment, another guy came to Sky and whispered something to him. She knew he was one of the soccer team and seemed to be the closest to Skyler.

Whatever he had said to Sky must have been serious, because he frowned and then slowly nodded.

"I got it." He said in a cold voice, and then the other guy turned and walked away.

Eila watched him leave with a slight smile before she turned to look at Skyler who now looked uncomfortable.

"Is…is everything alright?" She asked gently, her eyes swiping over his face gently.

Skyler looked at her then, his face immediately masked with a tender smile as he gently coaxed her hair.

"I am fine," he said and then stuck his both hands into his pocket. "I am afraid I have to leave now something urgent came up, but I will be back as soon as I am done with it." He told her with a small apologetic smile.

Eila, who had been a bit relieved to have someone talking to her, couldn't help the feeling of sadness that wrapped itself around her. She immediately smiled at him and nodded.

"No, it's alright. Go on, I hope you resolve whatever it is." She told him, and he smiled at her.

It was obvious that he didn't want to leave her, but he had to. Smiling and scanning her dress again, he leaned close to her ear and whispered.

"With a dress like that, I am a bit reluctant to leave you here alone. Take care of yourself, alright." He smiled and then walked off.

Her cheeks turned rosy at his words, and she bit her lower lip shyly. Even though she didn't want to admit it, she knew she was smitten by him, and she couldn't even take her eyes off him as she watched him leave with 3 others, her heart racing fast.

Just when she managed to get herself to calm down, she lifted the glass for another slip of the horrible drink, she noticed a pair of eyes watching her.

At first, she thought it was just in her head, but when she turned, she found Dylan watching her with an unreadable expression on his face.

She was a bit stunned, but to her surprise even when she caught him staring, he didn't look away. Eila suddenly had a strange feeling to roll her eyes at him, but then a lady walked to him, causing him to look away, as the lady tiptoed to whisper something into his ear even though she was on heels. He still bent his tall body to accommodate her height before he grinned at whatever it was, she said to him.

Eila turned away then with a scornful look on her face. She reminded herself that she was not here for the boys, but to simply forget and enjoy herself. She then grabbed another glass of drink and drowned it in an instant.

She remembered a guy even bought her a drink, but she didn't talk to him. She was a sucker for talking to guys, but after that drink, she slowly began to lose her senses. She remembered feeling hot and lightheaded, but then what?

Maybe that was what did the trick, she continued taking shot after shot, and soon she was dancing with absolutely no care in the world.

She had not cared about what happened at all. Every other thing that happened was a blur to her, she still couldn't remember how she ended up with Dylan of all people. She had been so reckless and had let her world slip right through her fingers.

Now looking at the person still comfortably sleeping, Eila realized for the first time that she had made the worst mistake of her life.

Dylan Logan the drop-dead handsome captain of the soccer team, is every lady's dream man apart from hers.

She had never liked him, she never liked guys like him who feel they can get any woman they want. Especially, not after all she had been hearing about him. He was popular for all unholy reasons, a heartbreaker, a playboy, and above all, he was a total jerk.

Eila had always liked Sky, who happened to be his ex-best friend, and now his worst enemy. But Sky was a lot different from Dylan, he was good-natured and kind, and not as arrogant as Dylan, and most times Eila was grateful that Skyler and Dylan were no longer best friends.

And now, it felt as though she had betrayed Sky who was never even her boyfriend to begin with.

She began to panic, if only she had not decided to go to that party if she had just faced her problems like she did before now, then maybe she wouldn't have landed on another one.

In just one night of recklessness, she had lost both her dignity and virginity to this Campus whore, making herself one of his many conquests.

"Ok," She whispered to herself, "Deep breaths Eila, deep breaths."

She needed to stay focused and get herself to be calm enough to leave here unnoticed.

Eila gently removed the thick covers, afraid to wake him as she slid out of the huge bed. But as soon as her feet touched the ground, she felt a stinging pain between her legs, causing her to wince from pain.

Her pulse jolted when she noticed Dylan stir in his sleep. She quickly looked back at him, her heart thudding in anticipation, but he still didn't open his eyes.

Eila let out a sigh of relief. She caught sight of her clothes scattered everywhere and felt her heart skip a bit.

Without another thought, she picked up her clothes, wearing each one she found until she was fully dressed, but she still couldn't find her underwear.

She was still looking for her underwear when she felt Dylan stir and turn in bed, showing that he was waking up.

Without another thought, Eila took her shoes and ran out of his room, closing the door with the softest sound she could muster in her current state, as she fled out of his huge apartment.
