"Wake up, wake up!!"
All I could hear was echoes and just when I attempted to open my eyes I felt this head splitting headache that a part of me wished I could just die at that moment.
But just as I was resigning myself to collapse again I felt the shaking and shouts even more intensely, opening my eyes I looked at the person shaking me through my blurry eyesight and discovered it was Mariam, a female neighbor of mine and just as I was wondering what was going on it all came back to me.
'I fell and hit my head on the floor earlier, but why am I feeling so strange'
Looking up I mustered my strength and propped myself up only to hear a shriek from the girl as she hurriedly distanced herself from me and when I subconsciously touched my head I felt a warm and sticky liquid gushing down my forehead, bringing it in front of my eyes I saw my hands filled with blood which must have scared the girl since she couldn't see it properly before due to my posture.
I stood up and ran back to my room to check in the mirror only to find out that my forehead was covered with blood gushing out from a crack in the middle of my head.
It was bloodied so badly it made one wonder just how I was still alive but I knew I was going to survive cause this wasn't the first time this type of situations would occur to me so I knew I was going to survive but another scar would be added to my list of glory.
Well, this wasn't much of concern to me before but now that I remember an extremely weird expression found its way to my face as I remembered the event that led to the scars on my face.

5th of May 2015
A boy could be seen skipping across the streets with a small school bag on his back.
"Mom I'm home"
"Why do you like shouting so much?" A boy about 14 years old could be seen coming out of the room and speaking in annoyance.
"Sorry bro, where's mom?"
"She's not home and dad's not home too just stay at home and be a good boy I'm going out and don't tell anyone I went anywhere, okay?"
"Don't worry, I'll be back soon and bring you your favorite cookies okay?"
"Alright bro, I'll wait for you then"
"Remember, don't leave the house okay?"
"Bye"
After he left the little boy of no more than seven years old walked into his room dropped his bag and came back to the living room to wait when he remembered the book under his bed and ran back to his room upstairs to take it.
After taking the book he ran out of the room and dashed down the stairs when he tripped and fell headfirst and rolling down the stairs with his body bruised.

Honestly, till now I've been confused about how I was able to survive back then but all I remember was standing up and going to the room to sleep and when I woke up all I saw was small bumps all over my body and scars all over my face.
All efforts by my mom to figure out what happened or cure it was futile and worse the scar wouldn't leave no matter what, since then I grew to become accustomed to it but the more I grew up and came to understand more the more I discovered what happened to me was very strange since I couldn't figure out how I was able to survive despite such heavy injuries.
As time went on, I came to discover more about myself since that incident like the fact that I rarely got sick anymore and on rare incidents where I got sick it would only take a few hours or a day at most for me to recover.
But none of it stumped me as much as the incident that occurred in the recent years even weirder events began to occur like the fact wounds couldn't last long on my body before turning into scabs and even the worst ones were like simple wounds to me and eyesight and even my body functions have been becoming disorderly.
Sometimes I would wake up and some of my body parts would feel like they weren't mine, some I couldn't feel at all and would have to wait for a few minutes for my body to re-organize itself.
On normal occasions, the wound on my head is not really of much concern to me but this time things are very different, Looking at the mirror I saw the reflection of myself staring at me once again as always but this time I focused on the reflection and I saw what seemed like light particles.
"Man I'm really going crazy aren't I?"
Looking around the room I felt the fatigue setting in and dragged my feet to the bed and closed my eyes falling into a deep slumber.
