I think it was eight years ago when I wanted to start a YouTube channel like everybody else, I was a teenager so yeah I was excited. Now the problem was that I wanted my channel to be different from others, so for that I started digging through the internet and within a few hours I found out about this lost/forgotten legends, myths. Especially the Xalvoth, luckily nobody had made a single video about Xalvoth so I decided to make my first video on it, new topic to discuss about.
From that day I started this research on xalvoth and found cool things about it, I had to use dark web too. In just five days I finished research on it and also made script for the video. I wanted to shoot this video in documentary style. A week later my parents got a call from my uncle, it was an emergency and they had to stay in his house for two days. It was normal for my parents to live me alone for days, and I to was used to it. So not a big deal for them, and I thought it was the best time to shoot my video. So after they left I started arranging things to shoot. I didn't have any expensive equipment's, just my smart phone. I had my script ready, the camera was also ready didn't any mic but still I managed.
I started recording, sat silently, I was nervous you know. Then after reading the script for three times I was finally ready.
"Hey guys welcome to my channel I am --- and this is my first video so I am really excited and in this video we are going discuss about a new topic which was hidden for centuries THE XALVOTH, xalvoth is a mythical creature, a forgotten dark entity. Now let's get know about this creature.
Xalvoths were few of the mythical creature which could be summoned, so in the medieval times people who knew about xalvoth would summon this creature into their enemy's house through a ritual. This creature is summoned in dark areas of the houses or any building. This creature would completely summon 24 hours after the ritual. But later this ritual got popular in the medieval time and people used this ritual in a wrong way. Xalvoth doesn't hurt anyone physically but mentally, this creature would create negative aura around the place where it was summoned. Now this would cause a heavy mental damage and at the end you would eventually think of suiciding. After it created huge amount of deaths in the medieval time, people were ordered to kill every single person who knew the ritual. Every books and scripts which contained the information about xalvoth were destroyed, the people who knew about it were also burned and tortured.
After spending some time in dark web I found out two books which survived and they contained the information about the creature. One was "Tenebris codex" which contains the details about the creature and another one which is more interesting because it has complete information about the summoning ritual. And now comes the best part of the video, I am going to do the ritual and find out if the myth is real or not. Just like the myth busters, because I know how to do the ritual."
Yeah I know, I was a mad teenager who didn't knew that this decision might change my entire future. It was the most stupid idea I ever had in my life.
After that I arranged everything for the ritual, and for the dark place I choose the attic in my house, nobody was going there, just had few non useful items.
"I think everything is ready for the ritual, I have a bowl, a pin and a paper. Now let's start the ritual."
I took a white paper and placed it in the middle of the attic. Then poked my finger with pin and drew three circles in line and placed a bowl filled with water in the middle circle and added seven drops of blood into the water. I lost so much of blood that day. Then I repeated the words which were written in the book and then I left the place.
"So guys the ritual is completed and now we need to wait 24 hours, also no one should go there."
I couldn't wait I was curious. But I believed that this is not true. After few hours I started hearing strange noises from the attic. The next day I was ready, it has been 24 hours since the ritual, I took out the smart phone and starting recording.
"so it been 24 hours since the ritual and I am finally going to the attic." I slowly climbed the ladder and turned the camera towards the attic and I saw...nothing.
"guys I don't think there is anything here, I did the ritual without any mistake and waited 24 hours, I didn't even come to attic. So from all this evidence it is conformed that the xalvoth is a myth and the ritual is fake." I was sad but still I knew it's not going to work, but I made a video for my you tube channel so I was happy too. Few hours later I started editing the video by then my parents had also come back. I started feeling tired, don't know why.
Later that night I couldn't sleep well, like waking up in the middle without any reason. It was the third time when I woke up at 3 am and it was feeling a little weird, few seconds later I heard a noise from the attic, I tried to turn on the light but there was no electricity so I lit up a candle. I thought it was my cat "Ginger", I tried calling him but when I looked he was sleeping on the bed. I heard the noise again so I thought of taking a look. I took the candle and climbed up the ladder.
Then I saw something I couldn't believe, a black portal. My eyes couldn't believe it, like it was something out of a fantasy. My fear started, I tried to take a closer look even though I was sweating due to fear. I stepped closer and then I saw two glowing red circles, like eyes. Slowly I was losing control of myself, I couldn't move. I saw a figure inside the portal and I could see it slowly coming towards me. My anxiety was increasing.
It came slowly out of the portal and I saw a Tall, skeletal being with goat like horns, tendrils, and glowing red eyes. Just as I saw in the mythological book. My heart beat was increasing rapidly and I could even hear it. It reached it's long hand towards me and then.... I started getting this weird visions of the creature torturing me, tearing up my skin with it's long nails and plucking out my eyes, I could see all of this fading every second, I couldn't help myself so I closed my eyes very tight and suddenly...I didn't feel anything so I opened my eyes slowly and found myself in the living room on the couch, I saw my mother and father behaving if nothing happened, they talked to me like every time they used to. It was weird, I had many questions going up in my mind, I was traumatized.
I then dared to go up to the attic and somehow I didn't see anything, no portal no beast nothing. Just the attic as it was before the ritual. Literally I couldn't sleep well from that day, the vision I had was haunting me, a real nightmare.
From that day I changed completely, I didn't find anything happy, I used to be always sad and worried. I don't know why but there was something in me which was not letting me to be happy. I felt like there is a negative energy around me.
Years passed and I was used to it. Slowly losing everything, my friends, my family. I knew that the incident happened to me was real but whenever I tried to tell this to others they thought I was making up a story. I couldn't prove it. The rituals, the portal and the devil. All were a fake story to others. I tried of suiciding myself but I got saved every time. The devil won't let me die but harms me from the inside.
It never ended, I started noticing weird figures in shadows. At first I was little bit scared but like the other things it become a normal thing. Finally I took a decision to stop this things. First I tried online to find any solution but I was not able to find even one, not only solution, I couldn't even find anything about Xalvoth. Then I tried visiting religious places to seek peace, I tried everything, I went to every holy places possible, but still there was no use. I regret about making that huge mistake. A simple decision changed my entire life. Even now I could feel that devil around me, creating negative aura around me. I am living a solitary life now. I am now nobody to this world.
I wish I had never done that.....
