Hell's Kitchen, a stark contrast to the city's glittering uptown, presented a scene of dilapidated walls, rusted iron doors, and crumbling buildings.
Here, in the dead of night, lurked drug dealers, addicts, gang members, and would-be robbers.
Hell's Kitchen was a pit of darkness and sin.
Following the Black Shadow Legion's connection, Yang Xu strolled through the chaotic streets, the constant sirens and gunfire creating a strange sense of tranquility.
It was the first time he'd explored this area with such ease.
He soon spotted a figure moving stealthily along a wall – Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock.
Matt Murdock, abandoned by his mother and raised by boxer Jack Murdock, learned early on the necessity of rules.
He dedicated himself to law school.
However, after saving a blind man from a chemical truck, the spilled radioactive materials blinded him but enhanced his other senses.
Trained by the blind martial arts master Gunsou, he mastered his heightened senses and became a formidable fighter.
By day, Matt was a lawyer; by night, he was Daredevil, fighting crime in Hell's Kitchen.
Yang Xu, recalling Daredevil's background, followed him to a processing plant.
Daredevil easily dispatched the armed guards, prompting Yang Xu to think, "An extremely qualified thug is a valuable asset."
Slipping into the plant's depths, they heard a voice urging workers to ruthless ambition.
Suddenly, an old woman silenced the speaker.
"Mrs. Gao?" the muted man questioned.
Ignoring him, she called out, "Come out! I know you're here!"
Yang Xu, hidden by the Black Shadow Army, watched Daredevil.
When no one emerged, Mrs. Gao's eyes turned cold.
"Everyone, stop and capture the intruder!" she commanded, striking the ground with her cane.
The blind workers, putting down their white powder, groped towards the sound.
Daredevil, sensing their approach, emerged to avoid being cornered.
Mrs. Gao directed the workers, and Daredevil, unwilling to harm them, used his heightened senses to evade them.
He moved through the plant, closing in on Mrs. Gao, knowing she was the key.
However, Mrs. Gao anticipated his move.
As Daredevil approached, she straightened, unleashing a powerful aura.
She struck him with an unseen force, sending him crashing to the ground.
Before he could react, she prepared another attack.
Suddenly, a voice boomed, "Crows are on a plane!"
Mrs. Gao braced herself, blocking a high-altitude kick with her cane.
The impact blasted a hole in the concrete.
"Who are you?" she demanded, staring at the figure emerging from the dust.
"Just a fake... uh... righteous knight passing by!"
A muscular man with a red starfish hairstyle, wearing a dark blue vest and red trousers, stepped into view.
